| Okay, so Tower Prep is a show about Tower Prep High School, a high school for kids with "special" skills. This one post was going to be really long so all of the information is included within spoiler tags. I will hopefully give everyone the information needed to understand this role-play. What is Tower Prep? - Spoiler:
Like I said above, Tower Prep is a High School where all the students have "special" abilities. Nobody knows anything about the school, where it is or how they got there. All that the student would remember before going coming to Tower Prep, would be a weird buzzing noise, and the next thing they know they will be at Tower Prep, with the only source of information being their new roommates and the orientation meeting. Again, nobody knows anything about Tower Prep, except for the faculty, and graduated students; nobody who doesn't go to Tower Prep even knows that it exists, except for the parents of the students. Many students who arrive in Tower Prep will try and escape, usually to no success, and others will just go with the flow and learn to master their abilities.
Well, that should sum up what Tower Prep is, as well as the mystery behind it.
What is the show Tower Prep about? - Spoiler:
The show follows the journey of a new student at Tower Prep, named Ian Archer. Refusing to believe what just happened to him, on his first night at the school Ian makes a break for it, trying to escape. Once in the forest surrounding the school he reaches a large metal wall, he then discovers that the wall surrounds the entire campus, except for areas that consist of a large cliff with the sea about 100 feet below. Ian then has a run in with the schools guards, which are called "Gnomes" by the students. When escaping from the Gnomes, Ian runs into three other students making their own escape, in doing so he saves them from the Gnomes. The three tell him all that they know about Tower Prep, and they all become best friends, working together to discover the secrets of Tower Prep as well as a way to escape.
What is known about Tower Prep - Spoiler:
Now I am going to give you a list of what is known about Tower Prep from the show. Actually, this will be information that your character should know just from going to Tower Prep, if you want to know more then just PM me.
-All students at Tower Prep have special abilitIes
-No student at Tower Prep knows where the school is located, or what it is for
-All faculty members know the truth about Tower Prep, but refuse to admit it
-Nobody knows the name of the faculty members, they are referred to by their position. (The headmaster is call "Headmaster", the Math Teacher is called "Math", the nurse "Nurse", the coach "Coach", etc.(If they have two positions they are called by both, Ex: The history teacher may be a coach part time would be called Coach History)
-The schools night guards are called Gnomes, and you do not want to have a run in with them.
-This is a fun fact, nobody should know this but I want to tell you. The Gnomes are actually students at Tower Prep. (Now remember, NOBODY CAN KNOW THIS IN THE RP!!)
-The only sport played at Tower Prep is called Buffer. (If you want specific info, then just PM me)
-The schools computer is called "Whisper 120". It is basically the mother to most students, "she"(yes she, the voice is a women's voice so everyone calls her she) is a computer program that is on all tech the students use, and provides them with all information the students want, except where and what Tower Prep is.
-The school is a very old building, but all the rooms and building are very up to date. Since the buildings have been constantly added too, there are a large amount of old, unknown rooms hidden all over the place. (My character will know the location of one because of his ability, but nobody else can, unless my character shows them.)
-If a student gets in trouble bad enough, they are transferred to what is called West Campus, its a set of buildings away from the main campus, nobody knows what happens in West Campus, they just know you don't want to go there. And any student that comes back from West Campus, never talk about it.
That is all that I can think of at the moment, if more comes to mind then I will put it here.

Here is a list of the known abilities of Tower Prep students, if necessary, I will provide a description and weakness of the ability.
Super Strength

Super Hearing

Night Vision
Description: You can see shapes and colors in pitch-black darkness.
Weakness: Without training, the user will only see basic shapes in the dark, so training is required to see color.
Name: Preflex
Description: The user can see something happen before it happens, and react to it.
Weakness: It doesn't always come into effect, training is needed for that to work, but when it does happen it is very useful.
Known Users: Leon Daniels
Name: Hypersuasion
Description: The user can tell people what to do, and they will do it. It is helpful in tough situations
Weakness: The user will use it compulsively, constantly making others do their work for them, thus making it though for them to make friends at first. Some people can resist doing what the user says, they are usually used to it being used or know a trick to ignore it.
Name: Perception
Description: The user can "read you like a book", they can tell what you are thinking off of your "micro-motions". They can also tell your personality by your hand-writing.
Weakness: The user cannot look into a mirror and tell what they themselves is thinking. It may not seem like much, but to the user it seems to be a big deal.
Name: Copy-cat
Description: The user can perfectly copy the voice or hand-writing of any that they have seen or heard. Useful in deception.
Weakness: None was present.
Name: Micro-vision
Description: The user can see things at a microscopic level. Like cells and such
Weakness: If untrained, the user may randomly see at the microscopic level.
Name: Eidetic Memory
Description: A photographic memory
Weakness: None present
Name: Perfect Taste
Description: Able to taste the tiniest compounds of minerals in the things you eat.
Weakness: Very little tolerance to taste
Name: Quantum Tunneling (This is my characters ability so HANDS OFF!!! NOBODY ELSE CAN HAVE THIS SKILL!! YOU GOT IT!!!)
Description: The ability to go through solid objects. He does not stay in the object, say there was a two foot wide wall and my character put his arm through it, it would instantly appear on the other side, not go through the two feet.
Weakness: He cannot stay in between something for a long amount of time, he needs to go completely through eventually. He cannot go through people or pull others through solid objects, he needs more training for that.

Name: Polymorphing
Description: The ability to change oneself into something else. Voices are mimicked fairly accurately but it takes practice to get everything perfect
Weakness: Limited to one animal form and takes a lot of practice to be able to change quickly without much thought.
Name: Sound Manipulation
Description:The ability to use music for different purposes. For example, a soft sweet tune to put someone to sleep or a bright happy tune to cheer someone up. Can be used to inflict physical damage as well, by bending the sound waves and using those.
Jagged, Sharp, Loud tune: Used to disarm a foe
Soft and Tender: Used to put someone to sleep or in a sense of security
Bouncy and Lively: To cheer someone up and remind them of happier times
Cold and Desolate: Makes to foe dwell on the negatives and the worst things in their lives, disarming them in a different way from the loud noise
Weakness: If not properly trained, the effects only last while the music is still being played. Once trained, the affects of the tunes can last long after the performer of them is gone.
Name: Adaptation
Description: The ability to drain energy.
Weakness: Unrestrained, may lose control and absorb energy of electronics around them.
Name:Empathy
Description: The ability to sense other peoples emotions.
Weakness: May take in too much emotion at once and have nervous breakdowns. Cannot always tell if they are her emotions or someone else's. Training is required to solve both of these problems.
Name: Photon Generation
Description: Basically, they generate light from their body.
Weakness: At first they will glow dimly, all over their body and at random moments. With training, they can change the intensity and location of the light. So they could make only one hand glow extremely bright. Plus with training they can willing turn it off and on.
Creating New Abilities Guide: - Spoiler:
Okay this one is going to be short. If you want to make a new ability here are somethings I will look at when evaluating your ability. Okay I can't come up with a list so I will just say, don't make it perfect, include some weaknesses, they can be simple like some of the complex uses require practice or something like that.
Also, some of you may think: "OMG!! Tower Prep is a high school for Alphas!!" Yes I know, it basically is, so if you want an ability of an Alpha that is fine, but make some changes to it because the source of abilities is not the same in these two shows. And I mainly mean make changes to the down sides of an ability, those are most likely going to be the major differences. For example, Bill in Alphas basically has Super Strength, but he gets his ability by willingly activating the fight or flight response in the body, causing his heart to race, thats his down side. But in Tower Prep, super strength is just an ability a student might have, so they don't have a downside like their heart will race, just that it would be hard to control. So if you chose an Alpha ability, mainly change the weakness to one that is lack of control, because that is the problem most students would have. Some weaknesses are okay, like Rachel can heighten any of her senses at the sacrifice of the others, if you want Rachel's ability, the weakness would be acceptable.

Name and Gender: Self explanatory Age: Be in your mid-teens, 14-17. 13 is okay, but if they are, they should just be starting at tower. Appearance: Physical appearance only, no outfit, the school has a uniform Years Attending Tower Prep: Say 0 if they are just starting. Don't go higher then 4, try and make your age make sense with your years at tower. (Ex. if your 13-14, don't say 4 years, but if you are 17, then you can say 0) History: Life before Tower, if they have been at tower, include some history there if you want. Ability: Chose from the list or guide, or make your own. Hobbies: Things they like to do in their free time or in between classes (Tower prep does have social events like movie nights, and they do a dance on occasion, but it usually sucks) Dislikes: 2 or 3 things they just don't like, a reason would be much appreciated but not necessary (if they don't like a food for no reason, just say for no reason) Personal Belongings: Two things they were given from home, don't say an iPod or Laptop or something like that, they will be provided by the school. So its usually something sentimental Other: Any other information you want to provide, if they spend time with a teacher that helps them with their ability say the teacher. At the moment, I am only allowing for one person per ability, so no two people can have the same ability. Name: Daniel Coldman
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: He is tall, short brown buzz cut hair. Freckles are not uncommon on his face but not extremely present. No other distinguishing features.
Years attending Tower Prep: 3
History: He didn't really do much when he was a kid. He discovered his ability when he was about 8 years old and used it as a simple party trick. He was watching a movie at home, he heard a strange buzzing from the surround sound and decided to take a nap. The next thing he knew, he had woke up in his bed at Tower Prep. On his first night, he tried to escape, but didn't get too far, because his roommates stopped him. He now trains his ability to become fully efficient with it. One day he accidently ran through a wall and found an abandoned storage room big enough to hold at least 50 people. He then discovered the entrance, for people who can't walk through walls, and only shows it to his close friends.
Ability: Quantum Tunneling
Goal at Tower: Train his ability
Hobbies: Reading, talking about Physics (He developed that from spending time with Physics), Buffer
Dislikes: Extremely loud music, bullies, and air-heads.
Personal Belongings: A photo of him and his family in Seattle for his birthday. A small necklace that has a small glass rose, its from his grandmother.
Other: Physics, the teacher, took notice of him and his ability, and took him under his wing, as way for both of them to understand his ability more, so he spends a lot of time with Physics, trying to master his ability. He figures if he wanted to escape Tower, he could, since its only a wall that is blocking them from the outside world, all he would need was to get passed the Gnomes.

Appearance: He's a red head, with blue eyes and pale skin. He isn't really short, but he's an average height.
Years attending Tower Prep: 1.
History: Leon lived in an orphanage, because his mother died in the childbirth process and his father was abusive. He was always the one being bullied about everything and everything. As he was falling asleep one night, he heard the strange buzzing noises. He woke up at the tower, and tried to look for ways to get out of it. Although he really didn't have anything to look forward to outside of the tower, he felt the need to get out.
Ability: Preflex.
Goal at Tower: To train his power, then escape the tower.
Hobbies: Cooking, exercising, Buffer, and joking around with any friends he has.
Dislikes: Being at the tower, being bored, anyone who is generally an idiot or arrogant, and not knowing the answer to something.
Personal Belongings: Nothing.

Gender: Female
Appearance: Short chocolate brown hair, with average brown eyes. She has a lightly tanned skin, but nothing really distinguishing.
Years attending Tower Prep: 0
History: Laura always loved to play music; whistling, singing, and sometimes (illegally) playing a recorder from the band room. Although she loved music, she was slightly shy and rarely allowed anyone to hear her. But when they did, they were happy, sad, and sometimes asleep, but it was over rather quick and they didn't notice much. Her parents heard her once at 10, and deemed her to have a musical "gift" and let (Forced) her to take lessons of any instrument she liked. She chose a recorder. They were baffled, but allowed her to "learn" how to play the simple instrument. Several months later she received a simple reed recorder, made carefully by her grandpa. About 3 years later, while she was practicing, she heard a buzzing in her ear, and decided to sleep, and she awoke inside the tower. At first she tried to flee, but then she learned running away didn't pay. So she stayed comfertably and decided to do the best she could and that is where she is today.
Ability:

» History: Josephine was always energetic, sometimes to the point where some would could her hyperactive. She loves to explore, and would often venture into the forested area near her home so that she could climb trees and watch the local wildlife. Despite this, she is intelligent and has always excelled in school, though most notably in art. Josephine discovered her ability by accident when she was sketching a blue jay whilst sat in one of her more commonly used treetop perches. The prior knowledge she had of the jay combined with the fact that she could accurately portray it's features caused the activation of her ability and all of a sudden she found herself transformed into an identical copy of the blue jay she had been attempting to sketch.
It was a few weeks after this incident that she heard the buzzing. After falling asleep in her home, she woke up in her bed at Tower Prep. Unlike most students, after orientation she had promptly decided she wanted to learn as much as she could about her ability and learn to master it and control when she transformed and what she transformed into.
The blue jay feather that Josephine wears is from the same blue jay that she was sketching the day she discovered her ability. She keeps it close and now considers it to be a lucky charm.

Description;
The ability to change oneself into something else, usually only living creatures such as humans or animals. Voices and other sounds are also mimicked fairly accurately, but only with practice.
Weaknesses;
It takes extensive training to master animal forms and mimicking a voice or other sound along with the change of form. It also takes practice to change quickly from one form to another without having to concentrate.

| Name: Aishi Shisen (Eye-Shi) (Shee-shen) Ishi or Ai for a nickname.
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Appearance: Aishi has long white hair down to just below her waist which are normally in braids. Hair like this. She also wears a necklace like this.
Years attending Tower Prep: 3
History: Aishi was and is a very bright student. She had colleges lined up, even at the age of thirteen. She was called a 'child prodigy.' That was before the buzzing in her head started up. She had stumbled into her bedroom, wincing at the loud and intrusive noise. She quickly fell asleep atop her bed only to wake in a completely different room. She was at the Tower.
After her entrance to the tower, Aishi quickly made friends. In her freshman year she managed to meet Daniel and became 'bros' with him. The next year Leon came and she took to his personality rather quickly. After that, her view on things started looking up. Sure she was trapped in some tower for who knows how long, but she could handle it. She was strong enough.
Ability: Sound Manipulation. (Saku, I shall help you and be your teacher >:3)
Goal at Tower: There is only one thing above all that continues to irritate Aishi. Just how had the people at the tower managed to transport her without her even knowing? Without anyone knowing? And what did her family know of her disappearance? These questions are the ones Ishi strives to answer.
Hobbies: Singing, Dancing (Mostly ballet), gardening, watching plays, playing various instruments, and photography.
Dislikes: Downers, daytime in general xD
Personal Belongings: An extremely old camera. It's an antique and honestly it's a miracle it still works. However, it captures beautiful images. A violin is the only other thing she has from home. It belonged to her mother and was passed down to her when it was found that she had such a skill for the musical arts.
