» Personality:
Saying Pepper is Coarse is an understatement. She has spent a lot of her developmental years living by herself. She doesn't take betrayals of trust lightly in the slightest. Because of this she is slow to trust and often wants to solve problems with a show of force over a conversation. Apart from her obvious social failings, Pepper is a very curious and willing to learn. She only really holds respect for people who can teach her something she didn't know before or can beat her in a friendly tussle.
» Likes:
- Fighting: Because of her mother, the only times she could interact with other Pokemon was when she picked fights for attention. She still feels like the best way to get to know a Pokemon is through sparring.
- Sticks: Her species has a fascination with these tasty treats. Pepper is no exception.
- Fruits/Sweets: She has a bad sweet tooth.
- Legends: She believes wholeheartedly in legends because her dad told her a bunch of stories growing up.
- Teachers: Her father was a martial arts teacher. She still looks up to him, even though they went their separate ways.
- Strong Pokemon: Stronger Pokemon are role models to this scrappy Fennekin.
» Dislikes:
- Bitter food: Bitter food tastes terrible. Pepper's mother would often feed her bitter plants whenever she got sick. Pepper remembers those tastes and dislikes them.
- Lazy Pokemon: Pepper's father always taught her that being lazy was unfair to people that you care about. She took these lessons to heart despite having no friends.
- Money: Pepper lived a long time not using money for anything. Now that she is on her own the concept of money is foreign and unfair to her.
- Liars: It takes a lot for Pepper to trust someone. Lying to her after you gain her trust will make her very upset.
» History:
Pepper was born to an Ampharos named Zeus and a Delphox named Salsa.
Salsa was a powerful Pokemon and Pepper was her only child. Because of this, she was doted on and overprotected. Usually, any time even playful roughhousing got Pepper hurt, Salsa would go into a rage and chase off other Pokemon.
Her father wasn't around much, and her mother scared off any potential playmates. So Pepper was alone most of her childhood. The only time she could get others to 'play' with her is when she picked fights.
At some point Pepper's mom had Zeus take Pepper in for a while, claiming that she needed to travel some place far away. During this trip Salsa became sick and succumbed to a disease. Zeus learned about this and had to break the news to Pepper. The grieving child isolated herself until her dad managed to make her see happiness again. He told her fantastical stories about her mom and about the strongest, most legendary Pokemon in the world.
Inspired by those stories, she spent her time learning anything that her father would teach her. She decided that she was going to try and become one of those powerful Pokemon that people tell stories about. Secretly, she believes that if she becomes a living legend, even her mom would be able to hear the stories Pokemon tell about her.
