The Misadventures of the Destiny(is this okay?) Trio

Silverkit blinked his eyes open and yawned, slowly picking himself to his feet and stretching. He padded around the Nursery once. Twice. Then suddenly he prodded both of his sisters, until they awoke.
"Comeonlet'srace!" He said quickly and happily. So far, there was no such thing that pleased him more than a race. That he wins.

Skykit slowly opened her light blue eyes to the unknown object that was poking her awake. She yawned then looked to see who it was. She really should have known. "We don't have to race all the time Silverkit..." she yawned after her sentence.

"Come on! It'll be fun!" he said practicly jumping in anticipation.

"Well I guess if Jaykit wants to..." She asked turning to Jaykit, her ear twitching. She was a bit more awake now that she spent a minute with her eyes open and standing.

Jaykit was already awake when Silverkit had awoken... she had just decided to lay there for a few more moments before lifting her head. She blinked, tilting her head at Silverkit's sudden suggestion.

"I.. I guess we could..." she replied before getting to her feet. She blinked again, stretching her paws before she stepped out of the nursery and into the sunlight.
There were warriors and excitable apprentices up and about, wandering around and sharing general news with each other. Mentors talked about how well their apprentices were doing. The apprentices themselves boasted at how much better they had become at things. There were even a small group near the camp entrance getting ready for a hunting patrol.

Silverkit bounded out into the clearing, basking in the sun for a few heartbeats before turning to Jaykit and Skykit. "So! The starting line is right here," he drew a line then continued, "And we go throughout the edge of the clearing, then we race in and out of the nursery before coming back here! Everyone with me?"

Skykit noted his slight daring, but nodded, "So-"

Silverkit didn't let her finish, "On the count of three....1...2..3!" He dashed off.

Skykit sighed, and started to pick up the pace as well.

Jaykit nodded and watched as Silverkit counted and then shot off. She blinked, not moving from where she was stood. Instead she sat and licked her paw before wandering over to the medicine den. Running wasn't exactly her thing. She much preferred to spend time in or around the medicine den. She peered inside, smelling the honey that IvyClan's medicine eon had recently collected.

Silverkit either didn't notice, or didn't care, and he continued running. Skykit, noticed, and decided, why not and followed Jaykit.
"Sometime's i think Silverkit is to exciteable for his own good." She sighed.

Silverkit finally finished, then turned around to find that his sister's were no where to be found. Suddenly he grinned, then started around trying to find the nearest tree.

Jaykit laughed at Skykit's statement.
"I guess he is... occasionally," she smiled, watching as her brother continued to bound across the clearing in his attempt to find the nearest tree. Unfortunately for him the nearest trees were actually outside of the camp's bracken and bramble wall.

Silverkit frowned. Suddenly he flattened his ears, and ducked through a small hole in the wall and padded around the camp.

Skykit frowned. "Don't think brother's supposed to go there...Should we go after him?" She asked Jaykit.

Silverkit found a small tree then unshealthed his claws. Slowly he began to climb the tree.

"Yea.. I don't want one of the warriors finding out. They'll only tell him off and there will be trouble for all of us..." sighed Jaykit as she got to her paws once more. She quietly padded over to the hole in the camp's wall and ducked out of it.

Jaykit gently padded over to the tree and looked up at Silverkit as he climbed higher into it's branches.

Silverkit felt the wind blowing through his fur. "It goes on forever." He said his eyes wide.

Skykit quietly followed Jaykit and stared at Silverkit as he went higher and higher. "What if he falls?" She hissed to Jaykit.

"I'll go and get mom..." replied Jaykit turned to duck back into the camp. It didn't take her long to go into the nursery and prod her mother awake.
"Mom!" mewed Jaykit. Fernfeather raised her head and blinked.
"Yes Jaykit?"
"Silverkit's up in a tree! He might fall..."
Fernfeather immediately leaped up onto her feet, her eyes panicked as she asked Jaykit to lead her to the tree. The lithe Leafeon ducked out out through the hole and stopped at the tree trunk.

"Silverkit!" she called, "Stay where you are!"
Fernfeather took a small moment before she leaped up the tree trunk, clawing her way up the tree and swiftly making her way towards her kit. Being older and more experienced, it didn't take her long to catch up with her son.

"But Mooommmm, It's so neat!" He whined, then climbed a bit higher, then slipped. Slowly he fell towards earth.

"Silverrkiitt!" Skykit shrieked.

Luckily, Fernfeather was a speedy climber. She hopped onto a branch and gently caught Silverkit by the scruff of his neck before he could fall too far.

She sighed in relief before climbing down so that she could speak to her kit without it being muffled through his fur. When she reached the ground she put Silverkit down, her leafy green eyes serious.
"Never do that again Silverkit," she began, her tone once again serious, but with a hint of wory and fright, "Next time I might not be there to catch you..."

Jaykit blinked and listened to her mother as she scolded her brother. She was glad that Silverkit hadn't been hurt, but he really was quite reckless.

Silverkit hung his head, "Sorry mum..." he said apologicly. Even though he felt guilty about making his mother and sisters worried, he loved the view. It almost had an invisble grip on him. He wanted to see it again and again. It never would get old. Almost subconciously he knew this wouldn't be the last time he was going up a tree that high again.

Skykit looked at Silverkit worriedly, she knew he almost got killed, and she was worried about that but she had to make sure he wouldn't do it again...

"Alright then. Come on you three," she smiled, a gentle look returning to her deep green eyes, "back into the nursery with you."

The young nursing mother chuckled before nudging the three kits back through the hole in the camp wall and across the camp until they reached the nursery. She stopped along the way to alert the clan deputy about the hole so that they could do something to fix is back up.

When she reached the nursery, she ducked inside, laying down and curling around her kits. Jaykit snuggled into her mother's fur, hoping to take a nice, calm nap before Silverkit decided to try and seek out another adventure.

Silverkit slowly walked back, and his ears perked up, listening about the hole. looks like i have to find another way to get outside he thought annoyedly. But he followed his mother and curled up quietly by his mother and slowly fell asleep.

Skykit followed Jaykit and Silverkit, and then quickly slept; Dreams of Fernfeather, Jaykit, and Silverkit falling haunted her.
