| THE PMD TAROT DECK Eventually maybe I'll come up with a deck cover. A meme I'm probably taking way too far, but hey that's life. Know what a Tarot deck is? Fortune reading and all that shit? Sure you do. Here's a version with meanings and images based on the characters of PMD, it's that simple really.
The PMD deck is a talisman of memes and angst, based on the phenomenon created by a bunch of Gen Xers, Millennials, and Gen Zers who find their escape in life by acting out their confused social development and moral turmoils through personas who in some way or another depict something that that particular person wants/is or wishes they had/were, all across an endless multiverse that's actually just you sitting at your computer desk and crying. All this on a site built based on an obscure branch-off RPG featuring Nintendo's corporate-scale Meme- Pokemon. Draw a card and have your life evaluated by the standards of edgy angst plots, dead threads, gratuitous trope abuse, and staff tilt. Like the roleplayers who inspired it, this deck is good at inspiring enough existential crisis to cause partial dissociation and out of body experiences. Features the art of an Architecture major with no money and only just enough sleep to thinly grasp reality, drawing on that nostalgic catharsis of looking back at your art and posts and thinking "wow there really is no hope for me or my future." This deck is sure to provide insightful readings for anyone in the like 3 or 4 people who actually get the inside joke.
Want in? Want a card? I bet you do. Good news, there's a place where you can dump items and poke on the resident needy hobo of the site and they'll eventually shit out something that mildly kind of sort of meets what you had in mind. Really, another "give me shit for art" scam wow fucking sad get over yourself chump. DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD. It'll break up the cards, lameos. Stick it in the/a Free Chat Thread or the titanpad or just go in the chat and talk about it ya pansies. There are also cards included in this deck with an [Alternate] tag attached to them. These cards are tributes to the best of the Free RP, as requested by those who participated. These Free RP alternates can be used in place of the original card as they have the same premise with slight variations in the overall interpretation.

| THE LOVERSSova and Mirage
General Description Often mistakenly read to imply relationships alone, this card is a herald of important or difficult decisions. It may indicate a decision in your life that is troubling you, or a situation that stands to generate more important choices for you to conquer. It may serve to signify something in your life that will hold a deeper meaning to your situation than it does at present value. This quality presents a duality that makes this card unique. It can be equally good and bad, and can be in the service of creating both bad and good endgames. It may not even be necessarily good or bad, it may just be a product of how things are. It presents two very different paths with two very different outcomes, which will then build up into very different end games. It is a foundation, as many relationships also are. When this card appears, it as an indication of deeper meaning. In an interpretation, what has lead to this point and where it may lead in the future should both be considered in relation to what the card has been drawn for, as this will allow for a more beneficial contribution to the final outcome.
Pros Attachment - This card indicates meaningful choices and events. Through this it often leads to betterment of the self and in this way may produce a beneficial outcome overall.
Union - Indicates places in your life where a strong relationship has been determined by your choices. These unions are often foundations on which your life may be expanded.
Partners - Much like Union, Partners is an indication of a strong relationship that expands your "self". It may be in reference to a specific individual, or an important body of influence in your life that helps you make your decisions.
Cons Attachment - With a strong attachment comes the potential to be blown out of proportion, to be compounded upon unhealthily. This can indicate a variety of outcomes; becoming absorbed in a choice unrealistically, being blind or indifferent to deeper implications, or seeing a fantasy crafted by your desires rather than the actual reality.
Conflicting Choices - Choices implied by this card are complicated and are never easy to fully work through. To be faced with this card is to be faced with something that will bring you varying degrees of both good and bad no matter what you pick.
Dysphoria - A feeling of unease accompanies this card, typically in the form of questioning your worthiness of the things you have. It can also be a feeling of burdening another individual, either by making a choice or due to a past choice you may have made.
Past Your choices are an indicator of who you are. To consider your past choices is to understand yourself through the question of "why." If you know who you were, you can better understand how you became who you are now and become more in tune with yourself. When you understand yourself better, you can connect more easily with others. You may find yourself resolving a recent conflict, clearing your mind and self of the accompanying emotional burden.
Present You are approaching a choice that challenges you at the fundamental level. It will put your values into question, and while your decision will not permanently nor immediately end anything, it will reshape your priorities and how you consider them.
Future You will only find closure in a decision if you are honest with yourself while considering it. This is also true when you consider the way you treat those around you, especially those who are the closest to you.
Key Interpretation (Yes or No) YES Drawing this card may indicate a rising opportunity to make a connection, or it may indicate being at a crossroads in your life. You may be faced with a decision or opportunity that you hadn't given consideration to before, something that jumps out and startles you. Be it a relationship or a choice to walk one path or another, the appearance of this card is motivating you to take the path you had not expected, and pursue something you had not dreamed of.
In the Reverse Position This may indicate you are jumping from relationship to relationship without finding exactly what you really need. Your life at this point has many complications, and you may be so preoccupied that you may not be seeing eye to eye. Both life and relationships require balance, and you cannot have things perfectly both ways. This indicates that you may need to spend some time considering your priorities and desires before you make a decision, lest it be one you make rashly.

| EIGHT OF CUPS Shintara the Absol
General Description The Eight of Cups is a card that suggests a point in your life that is unfulfilled. You may feel as though you're unsatisfied with the way you are living currently. Recent events may make you question who you are as a person, your morals and your priorities. Though you may be fundamentally okay, on the inside you are not okay. This card signals the beginning of a journey, particularly of self-discovery. It signals a point at which you should begin to look outside of yourself and what you know for the completion you feel you need. You may need to sacrifice some of the stability that you knew in order to achieve the happiness you are missing. This card may also indicate you are disappointed enough to leave what you knew in order to find the peace you crave.
Pros Change in Lifestyle - This is a signal of heavy change in your life, change which can be harnessed for the better. Things may be grim now while you struggle, but this provides ample opportunity for you to find better and healthier habits when you harness the lessons you learn from your experiences.
Personal Development - The Eight of Cups is representative of a transformative trial that you will have to adapt to and fight through. It is an omen that goes hand in hand with the expanding and refining of your character, producing a deeper and more complex version of yourself.
Opening the Mind - Going through such difficult stages in your life presents you with ample opportunity to learn how to open your mind. An open mind will help you improve the way you approach your problems and will help you achieve more favorable outcomes.
Cons Unrest - This depicts a deep feeling of discomfort and an absence of satisfaction in your life as it is at this moment, which may lead to a deep-seated unease that may cause you stress. You may feel unsure if any step you take is in the right direction, or if anything you do is going to help you achieve a positive outcome.
Avoidance - The discomfort associated with the changes this card indicates may lead to you feeling hesitant about your problems, or to a more serious degree may leave you wanting to leave them completely. The insistent misfortune and bullying in your life may cause you to turn to avoidance as a coping mechanism, be it physical or mental avoidance.
Despondence - Remorse and melancholy often come hand in hand with major changes and challenges in one's life, which can be due to any number of one's own internal reactions to these changes. When this card appears, it often signals a depression accompanying the tribulations that you are facing and the changes that you are having to make to cope with them.
Past You have gained many skills in your past experiences that you will need to revisit and rely on in order to face your upcoming struggles. Though your path is unclear, you urge yourself to continue seeking out the change you desire. Be aware that this change can take any number of forms.
Present You are facing a complete change in lifestyle that will challenge everything you know and will force you to learn quickly. Big changes are coming for you; be prepared to face them.
Future When confronted with massive changes, keeping an open mind will ensure every experience yields a beneficial revelation that will help you in your hardest transitions. You will find eventual joy in your personal accomplishments and the accomplishments yielded by the changes in your life.
Key Interpretation (Yes or No) NO This card suggests a point in your life where you feel despondent. Your lifestyle is changing, your attitude is changing, and even your morals and your priorities are changing. It may be pointing to a need to give up or move forward from something you currently face in life. It heralds a moment of quiet, melancholic reflection in your life that you will need to focus on and work yourself through. Though it may quietly promise good things to come, the overall somber tone of this card indicates no.
In the Reverse Position In it's reverse, this card reflects the aimless wandering of one who doesn't quite seem to fit in, or one who feels uprooted. It is a hopeless journey where the best options are unclear, and the new situations are so foreign that they are much harder to navigate. It may signal exasperation, a feeling of chasing something to no avail or pushing something forward that feels so much bigger than you. The Eight of Cups may symbolize a need for you to know when to walk away from something. Though this may not present you with closure, it may be necessary as you know you may very well have continued to work in vain for that closure infinitely. This knowledge may come with an impermanence, or the willingness to give something up and come back to it later. This is a symbol of escape, exodus, and to some extent, freedom from difficulties you may be facing in your path. Perhaps not so much from an unwillingness to face them, but rather a need to let go and start a fresh slate. You may be struggling with intimacy and commitments during this period due to stress and the way you are coping.

| THE SUN MI.CHAEL HEAT the Charmander aka MI.GUEL CHILE aka MI.TCHELL SIZZLE
General Description The Sun is the symbol of optimism and success. When the sun appears, it signals good fortune and blessing ahead. Good things will come to those who wait, and if you are willing to put the work and dedication in you will be acknowledge with reward. The Sun doesn't just account for the things you've earned, though. Sometimes, good things explode into life unexpectedly, but in a big way. Little things that develop over time; those things that develop into something better than anything you could have asked for, and that will bring you joy for much time to come. The Sun is such a powerful positive influence that it may overcome the other dreariness in your life, providing respite and comfort in troubling times. It comes with the power to bring clarity and comfort as much as it brings success and intensity. Consider yourself lucky when the Sun appears in your hand.
Pros Inspiration - The Sun can shed new light on old pursuits, bringing them new life to that which you may have thought dead or unable to be salvaged. The sun rises in places that were previously dark, and this card may bring with it the key to allowing the same to happen with you. It strives to emphasize that not all good things come to an end.
Dedication - The sun is part of a cycle, something that never ends. It never gives up, never drops out of the sky no matter how heavily the blue arc weighs down on it. This card is a symbol of that devotion, and empowers others to do the same. It is an encouraging omen, heralding the strength to stay true to the most daunting tasks and the most seemingly dead-end ventures.
Good Times - Light is not just a part of the physical world; it is also a feeling. Rather, it is an attribute of many positive feelings. "Light" is not an adjective typically used for sadder emotions; it's a word used to describe joy and contentedness. This card represents the good found in the ups of your life. Things you will appreciate in retrospect, or things that you look forward to that are coming in the future. This is also commonly found in communion with others, and symbolizes the light you find in the bonds you've made with other people.
Cons Over-Enthusiasm - The Sun is associated with very intense feelings that can be overwhelming. Light is as blinding as it is illuminating. With this card comes an emphasis on the need to be vigilant, to not be overtaken by all the good that manifests around you. In addition to finding your way, this card may also indicate loosing your way.
Depression - When the sun passes out of the sky, it leaves a void in it's place. This is true for the things The Sun stands for as well; such bright and intense emotions can leave you wanting in their wake. Melancholy is the company of brightness, and it follows in places where you lose sight of the joy you had previously felt.
Ungrounding - When The Sun appears, it can appear with a flight of fancy that is lofty and all-consuming. It can lift you from
Past
Present
Future
Key Interpretation (Yes or No) YES Devotion and perseverance light the way to success, like the sunlight of a clear day. The sun is bright and exciting, full of energy that can excite and intimidate those around it. When the sun is drawn, it signals good things ahead for you. If you draw this card, it is most certainly a yes.
In the Reverse Position In life, there are ups and there are downs. The sun must fall below the horizon before it can rise up and find glory. There is a low in the path ahead of you. You might feel like nobody sees you; perhaps you feel forgotten or you've been trapped in some kind of dark limbo. Don't let these things discourage you; even the night is temporary and you will find adventure in your life again.
