First topic message reminder :

Copy of Mission:
[Energy: 14 - 11 = 3.]
Lalna was in awe at the forest around her--- She had just decided to walk to the Fallen Leaf Copse on a whim... But she had a map before she decided to travel, this time. She was slightly in shock at her surroundings--- and also at the fact that she didn't get lost again. She loosened the choke-hold her scarf had on her so that she can loosen it a bit, some of the berries stored inside falling back as she looks up at the orange trees surrounding her. All in all, she was feeling happy she came here-- It's incredibly beautiful, in her opinion. She let out a sigh as she thought back to her situation. She thought Ashen, that friendly Houndoom would be able to join the guild with her, but she left pretty quickly.. She lout out another absentminded sigh as she thought about how she would join the guild. She couldn't just join and form a solo team--- She's too weak for that, and she's not afraid to admit it-- But she doubts they even allow that.

She let out a small sigh, eating a small bit of some trail mix she bought while she was in Grassveil. It was a long walk, as the sun's descending in the sky. However, there's still plenty of time until sunset. She picked up a small, orange leaf, staring at it for a second before dropping it. There's plenty of time for reflection later! For now, it's time to explore these beautiful surroundings! She let out a small sound of glee, before starting to run into the woods--- not too fast, though. She still had to admire her surroundings.

Lalna shook her head at how stubborn the piplup was. Despite still feeling slightly disappointed that she couldn't help--- still silently formulating plans in her head absentmindedly--- She slightly understood what the piplup meant by that sentence, but.. There was no way one attack was going to take out that ursaring. She understood the ninetales meant in the case of her dodging attacks, not attacking the ursaring that's seemingly about to break into the clearing.... She hopes that's what the ninetales meant, anyways. She sighed to herself lightly as she watched the ongoings, scratching the back of her head through her scarf. She could only hope that things didn't go awry.. But knowing life, she just jinxed it by thinking about that.

NOTE: Sorry for not making this longer, I didn't really have much I could add-- I was tempted to just ask for you to skip me, but... That would just seem lazy on my part. Not that this is any better, to be honest.

Lumina Energy: 27
Items
-Stamina Band (colored blue)(decreases energy cost by 2)
-Vulpix Tag (Reduce Pokemon Rolls by 1)
-Trawl Orb (4)
-Reviver Seed

The ursaring emerged from the trees, angrily sniffing the air. Then it's beady black eyes lit upon the group of pokemon, and it ROARED. Lumina growled back at the huge pokemon, stepping in front of the two smaller pokemon, between them and the huge beast.

The ursaring growled and bore down on Lumina. She immediately loosed a torrent of flame at the bear, causing it to fall back, flames wreathing around the thing's fur. It roared again, this time in pain. Lumina's eyes glowed then, a ball of light forming in front of her, before it circled the bear, confusing it.

The ursaring wailed in confusion, and lumbered toward the pokemon, having gone down on all fours from the fire attack. Lumina braced herself, readying for another attack.

Fallen Bear Copse. - Page 2 Empty

For a moment, not a single sound was made, save for the booming, unmistakable stomps of a several-hundred pound, savage beast. If what approached was truly an ursaring, then it would be the largest thing Clovis had ever had to seriously consider combat with. Ursaring were tall and heavy, bigger than even the largest of empoleon. Bigger than him, for sure. Bigger than the ninetales, too! But this ursaring, as with all feral pokémon, held a distinct disadvantage compared to the piplup and his company. Plainly, it was unenlightened. Savage and visceral, sure, but still lacking in true intelligence or meaningful motivation. The approaching beast attacked in senseless outrage- Clovis would be fighting not just for his life, but to demonstrate his usefulness to that snide fox!

When the ursaring revealed itself in the clearing, it let out a mighty roar, sending a shake through damn near everything close enough to hear it. From the trees surrounding it fell numerous autumn leaves, contributing to the drama of its entrance. The penguin took a step back, and squinted with the both of his eyes. The conflict was in front of him, but unlike the younger pichu, he hadn't taken cover or attempted to hide himself. The ninetales was the only thing distracting the bear's wrath for the time being, but when the circumstances were right, Clovis intended to leap right in himself, just as he had planned to.

After the two bigger pokémon had finished growling at one another, the ursaring took on an aggressive pose and began to step towards the ninetales. Without hesitation, the ninetales let forth a large spray of flames, which hurled towards their target, wrapping around the bear and causing it to give a cry of pain just as loud as its original, intimidating roar. As the ursaring reeled, the ninetales released another move, of a different variety. A single ball of light formed from in front of the ninetales, and dashed over to its hulking target. Doubtlessly, it was a confusion technique.

Still, after a genuine fire-type's flamethrower, the beast continued to snarl and display its aggression. It made movements towards the ninetales despite the attack it had hit by, and looked like it had plenty of fight left in it, even if a small part of its fur was still on fire. If it managed to get its claws on him, on the ninetales, or on any one of them, the results would be bloody. Clovis had resolved to intervene before the fight even began, and this lull in attacks was his moment to strike.

Clovis ran forward about as fast as his tiny legs could take him, stopping only when he reached a spot at the ninetales' side. Without time for hesitation or questioning, the piplup opened his beak to release a single, white ice beam towards the previously burned ursaring's head- an obvious target, as it had fallen down to all fours. It hit its mark, as was to be expected considering the distance between the two of them, and rendered a small patch of the bear's head frosty white. With a grunt, it announced its pain, and halted its charge for the moment, likely finding it difficult to move much more when it was both confused and being pelted with ranged attacks. Still, it'd likely start moving even more, unless it was hit again.

[Energy: 0 + 1 = 1]

Lalna watched as the Ninetales attacked the Ursaring that just charged into the clearing, mentally registering the attacks that the Ninetales was using. She lightly sighed mentally when she realized she was way out of her league--- Even a sneak attack would do barely anything.. Unless.. Yeah, that could work-- But it would also put her in risk of being hit--- She wasn't confident she could take anything form the Ursaring or the Ninetales--- Then, the Piplup charged forward and shot forward an Ice-Beam towards the Ursaring, hitting its head and causing it to stagger. She nodded to herself, moving through the bushes quickly and taking advantage of the Ursaring being staggered, she Jumped towards it from behind, Aiming for the back--- Landing, and scrambling up the back of the Ursaring, unleashing a Thunder Punch into its head, unleashing a shock from her fist into the Ursaring and slightly into herself, before the amount going into herself was absorbed into thunder rod-- But, it doesn't mean that it didn't sting her, as the electricity was leaking from her Cheeks. She jumped off the Ursaring after doing so, not noticing what the Ursarings reaction was to that attack as she jumps in the air, planning to land a safe distance away.

(note: I'm leaving what the Ursaring does after to you, Silver. c:)

Lumina Energy: 27 + 1(page) = 28
Items
-Stamina Band (colored blue)(decreases energy cost by 2)
-Vulpix Tag (Reduce Pokemon Rolls by 1)
-Charge Tag (Reduce every other Pokemon rolls by 1)
-Trawl Orb (4)
-Reviver Seed

The ursaring roared again as the two attacks from the other two pokemon hit it in the face. Lumina focused her power again, this time throwing all of her frustration and horrible thoughts into the attack. A pulse of darkness raced from Lumina's feet and slammed into the bear.

The bear growled, shaking its fur, dispelling the remaining flames that dotted its pelt. The bear was charred and part of its head was white with ice, but it was still going. It swiped a paw at Lumina, who dodged the giant paw gracefully. She came back up with fire in her jaws, spewing out at the bear once more.

The ursaring roared again as the fire wreathed around its body again. It backed up, shaking its massive head in confusion and terror. It howled and turned, fleeing into the forest. Lumina sighed in relief as the bear disappeared into the mass of trees surrounding them.

"Thank Arceus that's over," she said, panting. She looked around at the piplup, grudging respect in her eyes. "You handled yourself well," she said, dipping her head. "Forgive me for underestimating you."

Fallen Bear Copse. - Page 2 Empty

Energy:

With the beam, a shockingly unexpected punch from the pichu, a mysterious pulse of energy, and one last burst of all-consuming fire, the bear decided that it had had enough attacks thrown at it, and ran away, in a rather unimpressive manner. It had been bested, and bested rather quickly, by three pokémon not but a tiny fraction of the ursaring's weight even combined. How ashamed the supposedly great bear must have been- assuming shame was a concept feral pokémon could be familiar with. Not a single one of the three pokémon had taken a scratch, in fact, all of them had put forward some contribution to the fight, contrary to the ninetale's prediction. Clovis had faced the bear directly, standing near the fox pokémon, and even the little pichu had managed to ambush the bear during the fight.

Clovis expected to be presented with a clear opportunity to mock the ninetales' unnecessary and pretentious caution, but for whatever reason, he was instead presented with an apology. With a look that betrayed a certain, reluctant respect, the ninetales told Clovis, in a number of words, that he had done well. "Well! It's good of you to say so." It was hard for the piplup to stay too angry at someone after they had admitted to their own foolishness. Almost reflexively, his chest puffed out a bit, striking a pose that almost seemed to say I told you so. "Now, miss ninetales, miss pichu, now that the beast is gone, would you care to share your names? Mine is Clovis, of Grassveil."
