Some Kind of Pun Based on the Word "Dead"

It seems like this is the place, Tenatus thought to himself, So as long as I go and make a team I can accept jobs, seems simple enough. Staring at the doorway to the Grassveil Guild, the Shinx had thought over what he must do, he was gonna go right in and get his membership, and that was that. Walking through the entrance the small Pokemon found itself in a kind of foyer.

Looking around there wasn't much to do here and there seemed to be stairs leading down to another floor, It seems like that's the way to go, he thought while walking down the stairs, it seemed that Tenatus would have to go deeper to get into the guildmaster's room.

Looking around the boards seemed to be towards the doorway he just came from. It was probably a kind of ease of life thing as the doorway was right next to the boards. Right next to the boards was another doorway leading down again, taking this he ended up in the dorms, now he was totally lost. Where was the place he would sign up at?

Faye chuckled softly at the rather excited young Pokémon, noticing how the static was building in his fur. She nodded, writing down the team name in her large tome along with the Shinx's own name, leaving the ink to dry before she closed to book – she didn't want to smudge it, after all! She returned the quill pen to its holder and looked at Tenatus.
"There we go, sweetie. You are now a part of Grassveil Guild," the Guildmaster smiled. But they weren't done just yet…

"We provide some supplies to all new Guild members," she continued, turning around and walking to the closet in the corner of her room. Her large frame covered most of it as she opened it, leaving its contents a mystery to anyone behind her. Faye's vines grabbed a small bag for the Shinx, filling it with a map and the very important Guild badge. And… Her eyes stopped at the box full of colorful ribbons, scanning its contents.

A yellowish orange ribbon was pulled out and put into the bag, its lid swiftly closed. The Meganium turned around, taking a few steps closer to Tenatus before using one of her vines to bring the bag closer.
"A bag is a quite useful tool to explorers, but I also put a map and a badge in there for you. Oh, and another little extra surprise, from me. Now all that is left is to assign you a room."

With another chuckle she nodded, telling him he was now in the guild. Tenatus practically leaped with joy, what he had been working for for practically a whole three days. Although what was even more surprising was that he got some supplies too. With the guildmaster turning around to get the supplies that he needed, Tenatus couldn't see what was going on at all and kept glancing around to see what was happening.

She then turned around and walked closer, handing him a bag she exclaimed that a map and a guild badge were also in the bag. Surely she could see that he already had a badge, maybe it was just something everyone got in the guild. In any case the Shinx was raised to be polite he simply smiled and took the bag with his mouth, "fanks."

Faye just smiled as Tenatus took the bag, the little Pokémon having looked to excited during the whole process. She did hope he wasn't going to rush into danger in his excitement, but with their ranking system, newcomers wouldn't be doing very dangerous jobs… She was sure it would be fine, especially if the Shinx explored with other teams.

"Now, if you would just follow me," the Meganium said, starting to make her way out of the room with a relaxed pace so the smaller Pokémon didn't have to run after her. She walked down the snaking hallways, stopping in front of a door she then opened.
"As you don't have any other team members, you will be getting one of our smaller rooms. But don't worry, there are larger ones when you need them," Faye explained as the door was pulled open, revealing… Well, a rather small room that didn't have much in it, but for a small Pokémon like a Shinx? Well, surely there was enough room to be comfortable.

"Usually the other Teams just sleep in their rooms, but nothing stops you from decorating it how you see fit. There's some bedding material in the corner you can use."

Walking through the halls after the Meganium seemed to be going at a reasonable pace, stopping at a door, Faye opened it revealing a small room. She explained that this small room was because he had a small team, and as it grew so would the size of room he got. It was rather comfortable though, even if it was small.

Entering the room he looked around, putting the bag down he turned towards the guildmaster. "Thanks for the room ma'am," it was a simple thing but again, he was raised to be polite. Walking towards the bedding material to survey it, it to be the usual stuff so he should be fine with making a bed. The room was a small bit drab though, maybe he could fill it with mementos from his adventures.

"You're welcome, sweetie," Faye smiled at the Shinx after he had managed to take a quick tour of his new room, thanking her for showing it. It was now Tenatus' and no one else's, so surely it would start feeling a bit more comfortable after it looked more lived in.
"Now, I'm sure you have a lot on your mind, so perhaps you should take it easy for now and have a good night's rest before you take your first mission. There is no rush," the Meganium continued, already starting to back away from the door to make her leave.

"Do take care. You know where to find me, if something comes up," the Guildmaster wished the Pokémon well… And if there was nothing he needed her for right now, she was going to return to her room.

Faye instructed that Tenatus should sleep and get comfortable before going on a mission. This was totally fine with the Shinx, it had been a surprising day, with the tour, and the actual surprise that the Pokemon he had been with was the guildmaster. The guildmaster started to walk out the door wishing the new guilg member good luck.

Walking over to the bedding Tenatus started to make his bed, he hoped to start his new career tomorrow. Tomorrow will great, he thought, and if it isn't he'll make it one.
