It's been about ten minutes since her arrival at Cattail Marsh. Since then nothing of interest happened, Nothing wild popped out and no random item to be had. Well... not at least from the dry path Yooka's been on the entire time. Perhaps there would be something within the murky areas and her distaste of getting dirty for practically no reason was just keeping her out of it. If something were to catch her attention perhaps then she'd be able to muster up enough will to get something done.

However, she also doesn't want to end up spending a whole day recleaning her purple backpack like the last time she was here. It looks just like her species, Kecleons.

Then again, why bring something that precious to a place this murky to begin with... Meh, She felt like it, and it'll give her something to do if it ever does happen. Very contradictory at best. The more times you do stuff, the more you learn about it and can improve. She loved to learn so Yooka decided why not take the risk, it'll be fun!

She was indeed looking around but frankly not even trying to look for anything. Just spacing and walking down the marsh's dry path. She was so bored that every now and then a noise could be heard just barely ahead of her behind a few trees but she couldn't quite see it. It's been like that for maybe three minutes. It started to feel like torture when she couldn't find the source for the first minute.

Gentzer was...BORED.

It was an unfamiliar emotion to him, and a foul one. He'd searched around the dungeon a bit upon entering and hadn't even found a single lesser gem to nom on...let alone a gem worthy of his attention. No here he was, walking along despondently, kicking rocks on the ground in boredom, his mind wandering in daydreams of legends that he'd heard many years ago.

It didn't help that the place he found himself was as boring as it's gems. It was alot of marshlands, muddy and rocky, it wasn't even rocky enough to be interestingly difficult, just annoying. For a brief moment, the insane idea of going to fight wild Pokemon or hunt for NON gem items crossed his mind, but Gentzer cut that idea short quickly. He had no idea where to start! Unfortunately, that left him with only the rocks he kept kicking around the place, and alot of boredom, hoping for something to brighten up the day, even something to mock would do!

Another five minutes passed and at first Yooka figured she must have reached the Misty Mire but then she noticed she passed a certain rotten log for at least umpteenth amount of times. Didn't she pass that same log awhile ago? She stopped moving and looked at the log. Perhaps a marker should do. She looked around and found a couple sizeable rocks and stacked it on the log. She had to get her feet wet to do it but at least the marker is placed.

She cleaned her feet off before continuing down the path. Now to see if she really has gone around in a circle.She noticed the noise was still happening in front of her just out of sight. However, something was different. It seemed more, off the path, than directly infront of her. Did something happen? Yooka Smirked, Something is going on but she has no idea. She wants to figure this out. Solving a mystery is one of the few things she loves to do.

Gentzer's boredom was reaching critical levels, he had taken to trying to JUGGLE the rocks he had been kicking around, to mild success.

"Hee Hee Hee!!" He giggled to himself as he got a good rhythm going, juggling like a pro. There was something intensely gratifying about it, so Gentzer was enjoying himself...a little too much, as he juggled faster and faster, before flinging the 4 or so rocks he'd been juggling in a "big finish". In his excitement he had unfortunately forgotten how gravity worked, as all 4 rocks came falling down on his gem adorned head. "Yowch!" He called loudly, rubbing one of his gemstone eyes where the largest rock had hit it. Despite the wounds, Gentzer remained unfazed, he had a trick up his sleeve after all! He calmed himself and breather slowly, his body starting to glow as he used Recover to heal. The soft green and yellow glow of his healing lit up the dark muddy marsh like a lighthouse at sea. His gemstone eyes were tricky to heal, so Gentzer took his time to ensure his precious gem eyes were OK.

Just as Yooka predicted, the rotten log was passed yet again and the rock marker was untouched. How did she end up in this situation? Well, It wasn't all that bad, she'll just have to go off path to change the situation. Which is exactly what Yooka did, despite the fact from earlier about how she didn't want to get dirty for no reason. She had a reason now... to escape the loop.

She didn't get that far off path when she noticed an odd light. It didn't last long but she did move in it's general direction. She thought it was just another noise situation where just as she thinks she'll see it, nope, but this time when the light faded and she passed a shrub, she noticed the back of an odd gembound pokemon. Surveying its surroundings quickly from a distance, she can see a wide arrange of rocks spread around the place, seemingly recently but other than that... nothing out of the ordinary.

It took her a few seconds upon actually looking at the pokemon to realize it was a Sableye. She smirked, "Having fun?" She could have said a wide arrangement of different starting sentences but this one just popped out. She wanted to correct herself by injecting something else, but she only held it back and growled to herself.

Gentzer had just finished healing himself when he heard a voice from behind him, whipping round suddenly he found himself face to face with a Kecleon, smirking at him. "Heh heh heh" He giggled to himself. "You been there long? it's rude to stalk you know!" he jested. "But as a matter of fact...no I'm not having fun, this marsh has nothing interesting! I came here for some good gems and I find a lot of mud and water, I'd be better off searching in a ditch!" He continued, lamenting his boredom.

Sighing and shaking his head as if the marsh had disappointed him, he took a closer look at the Kecleon. Offering his clawed hand, he introduced himself. "Name's Gentzer, gem finder extraordinaire! And you are...?"

The openness of the Sableye caught Yooka a bit off guard. She just tilted her head a bit to the left as her face changed into a questioned one, but quickly went back to smirking. Knowing that Sableye's were Ghost and Dark type she had to balance what she was about to do. Instead of getting closer she kept her distance and extended her shadow wrapping the Sableye's hand as if to fulfil the handshake. Better safe than sorry was her excuse. She's not getting close to a sableye without knowing their 'alignment'. Typical dark types tend to be evil and typical ghost types tend to be impish. Similar to herself but she knows how to act for the better situarion if it's needed.

"Name's Yooka, I'm from the Grassveil Guild. I'm here because I felt like it with nothing better to do. For the time being, mind if I accompany you on your 'Gem Hunting' Could give me some experience if I 'shadow'ed your 'job'... hehehe. You don't mind do you? I mean I've been wandering arround myself finding nothing of 'value' myself... This place does suck..."

Yooka noted the gems on the Sableye. They looked... unvaluable. Cheap even. Does he only enjoy collecting the best and take the snacking on the bad ones? That's unhealthy, kind of like having milk the day before the expiration date. Has it expired or does it have a few more time? Yooka doesn't really know the full extent of what gems 'do' to Sableye's but that is the best she's found about them. She also noticed some of the gems on his back where dull, however, his body kept them up to sheen. perhaps he isnt always snacking on bad gems...

Yooka Took out an oran berry as she was shaking his hand. She didn't exactly like being exhausted before finally starting something and this berry will do just this, even if it's just a snit-bit.
