RP in Grassveil?

Hello! Would anybody be interested in roleplaying with me in Grassveil Town? Ideally, I'd like to roleplay with two or three people, but I'm completely fine with having a one-on-one RP as well! :)

To summarise, my character Loren is an intellectual Mareep who is confident in his knowledge and abilities, yet is revealed to be clueless and naive when it comes to social interaction.

ooo... similar to mine, except instead of

true knowledge. shes based on rumours and her sneaky studies. (snooping/quiet investigations)
and
instead of clueless and naive shes more acting and unusual behavior.

you can count me in if you'd like.
but also note she also doesnt care what happens as long as the day gets interesting, someone not behaving like normal would count as unusual. she likes unusual, the more mysterious something/one is the more she'd be interested.

if you actually let me join in, even if your character seems normal, id find a way to make her interested. xp

Your character is very interesting, Altale! I would be happy to RP with you at some point. The only problem is that I currently have 8 active threads... It's getting difficult to keep up with everything. If you're fine with me taking a little longer to get to posting (a few days as opposed to one), then it shouldn't be an issue. Of course, you're new here, so I understand if you'd like to get off to a quick start. We could always plan a thread for later.

I suppose I should describe my only free character. Her name is Delta, and she's the Oshawott in my signature. To put it bluntly, she can be quite snarky/cynical at times. Not very friendly, and has poor social skills. Despite this, I really think that your Mareep and her could get along nicely, mainly because Delta respects those she deems "competent". As long as your character shows her that he's smart, she'll want to talk to him.

I'd love to roleplay with you two! I think Loren will get along quite well with both of your characters. Also, I'm fine with anyone taking a bit longer to post so don't worry about that ^^ Would you like to have a group thread or individual ones?

I can go either way, group or individual. Which ever seems to work.

actually I think this may be a first time I rp'ed with sceptile 'if' we do a group. Hopefully I dont seem bad at it to either of you :3

I guessed that the name of the thread was going to be "Meeting of the Minds"... That was pretty close, actually. Not really important, I just thought it was funny how I would've named it roughly the same thing.

And wow, you two post fast! Almost an entire page done in a single day! Hopefully I don't end up slowing everything down... I'm going to make my first post soon, so please just wait for that to happen. It's kind of important for my records that I get at least two posts on the page.

My first post will likely just entail Delta going to the library, arguing with her mom, or something like that. She isn't going to interact with the other characters just yet; I need to set the context for her before any of that can be done.

Could you guys have Yooka go invisible by the time I make my second post? Having Delta bump into her would be an incredibly convenient way to introduce her to the other two.

EDIT: Well, it appears that Yooka posted while I was writing this up... That honestly screwed me out of a page. Not anyone's fault other than my own, I suppose.

And, sorry about that. That just happened to be the only day in the week in which I'm free for the whole day; I won't be able to post this fast usually. :P

Yooka (the character) is talking about something that is flustering her, so, I guess she might get to a point where she feels like she wants to hide and turns invisible out of embarrassment/in an attempt to distance herself from what she's saying. Another way the characters could meet would revolve around a trip to the library, since only Delta has been there so far, and could show Yooka and Loren the way. Of course, those are just ideas. xD We can discuss more and see which is more suitable.

Anyhow, the order, once we get to the next page, will be Sceptile, Yooka, Altale.

I can make the encounter still work in my next post as Sceptile wants. however, Yooka would never get embarrassed from a reason like that. she'd get more and more peeved. σεσ

She doesnt get anxious easy, replace that with annoyed. and it would fit slightly better. the more confused she is, the more peeved she gets.
(I need to find a better word than flustered... Im so used to meaning annoyed/confused at oneself, to the point that 'that' word keeps popping up. )

oh wait... Now I can see how that could be taken as the word 'embarrassed' *facepalm*
