| Rouge had learned a lot over the past week and felt almost at home in this new place, he didn't like many of the traditions these Pokemon, though he would learn to cope. This small pond though was a nice place to get away and think about his past life. he didn't want to lose his traditions, thus he came here to think of them, and act upon a few. The pond seemed quiet, and the air was warm. The small reptilian Pokemon walked up to the edge and drank from the pond. Cool and refreshing just as the water from his tribe always was. This made him happy as he sat down at the edge, looking over the pond, merely thinking about the past. It seemed more distant than it actually was but none of that mattered right now. Rouge closed his eyes and just listened to the world around him, fixating on the rustling of the leaves. He was happy with this moment. | |

| Silverdawn slithered through the grass, hissing to herself. Her partner, Aaron, had disappeared off somewhere after going practically insane, and left her by herself! She was going to have strong words with the deino when he came back from wherever he was sulking. She fumed as she went along, not really paying attention to where she was going. Her senses kept her aware enough that she didn't run into anything or anyone, but she was just randomly slithering along.
After a while, she realized that she heard the sounds of water moving. It was a soft sound, so it wasn't a river moving quickly along. It must be the Small Pond, which was just outside Grassveil. She sighed and slipped into the water, letting the coolness wash over her.

| Rouge heard a small noise, as if something entered the water, opening his eyes and looking around in response. That's when he saw the Arbok entering the water on the otherwise of the pond. This struck him as curious, what was something like that doing here? from what little he heard, Pokemon like that tended to stay with heir own on not wonder off. Rouge decided to lower himself into the water and slowly waded towards the Arbok, the feeling of the cool water against his scaly skin was nice, but quickly got annoying as he didn't like being in water for too long, though he figured it may be better if he stayed in. after all it would make him look less threatening to the snake. At least, that's what he hopes. | |

| Silverdawn let the waves wash over her body, enjoying the cool refreshing sensation. As she did so, she heard the sloshing of someone or something moving through the water. It was getting closer to her. She clicked her tongue against the top of her mouth, creating a sound that spread across the area, revealing the outlines to her mind's eye.
It seemed to be a cubone coming towards her. She hummed thoughtfully. She hadn't really ever met a cubone before. They were a reclusive folk, and tended to stay near the mountains and the desert. She'd certainly never noticed one around Grassveil before.

| Rouge tightened his grip on his club, unsure of that the small clicking noise was. He stopped a few feet away from the snake, it was bigger than he thought and very intimidating. He shifted his weight between his feet, unsure of weather this was a good idea or not. closing his eyes and letting out a small breath to calm him self, Rouge spoke.
"Hi-i" simply said, though his words were still clumsy and his voice still sounded fairly strained despite how much he had worked on speaking. His muscles tensed as he awaited a response, unsure of how this snake would react to him.

| Silverdawn hummed in amusement as the cubone greeted her with a tiny, "hi." He sounded nervous, and as she tasted the air with her tongue, she could taste the slight scent of fear on him. "Greetings, cubone. What brings a pokemon of your species to Grassveil? Or rather, just outside Grassveil, I suppose," she hissed lazily, her tail flicking under the water. | |

| "w-want long o-or s-shor-rt?" Rouge asked, he was hoping that she'd only ask for the short reason, though either way he'd have to explain why he was exiled. Rouge smiled though, she hadn't attacked him so she couldn't be that bad, could she? There was always some doubt, but he pushed it out of his mind. After all, look at what happened with ashens, they became friends quickly. | |

| Silverdawn hummed thoughtfully. "I suppose whichever story you want to tell me is acceptable," she hissed after a moment. "I have time if you'd like to tell the long story. If not, I can pick up on whatever it is you want to put down." She coiled up under the water, raising her head above the small waves so that she could breathe better. | |

| Rouge nodded, deciding to give the shortened form. "W-was pa-art of tri-ibe. exil-ed. f-fou-und way he-ere." Rouge explained, it wasn't the full story by any means, though most of the rest is details. He scratched the back of his head gently, perhaps he should elaborate? maybe if she asked. This large snake seemed fairly friendly and laid back, though if she wanted him dead, he could be at any moment. | |

| Silverdawn nodded thoughtfully as the cubone explained his past. "I see," she hissed. "I mourn your loss, but I hope you'll find a better life here in Grassveil. I, too, come from an unfortunate past. I found a life worth living here, and I hope you do, as well," she said earnestly. She slithered out of the water and shook herself, causing droplets of water to fly everywhere. | |

| Rouge opted to stay in the water, wondering what woe had befallen this snake. Maybe it wasn't a good idea to ask, though the though of knowing made him very curious. Rouge didn't want to ask about something that may be painful for the Pokemon, but something inside compelled him to ask.
"W-wh-at ha-app-end, to y-ou?" Rouge asked, genuine curiosity in his voice. He truly hoped that this wasn't a terrible thing to ask.
