| After hanging out a bit in town, Bo was relatively tired. Instead of flying like he usually did, he had walked around with a few Pokemon he had only met and already become best friends with. But he wasn't used to walking; he liked flying so much more. His bottom claws were sore as heck...
He happened to be flying over the border of the town and seen a area off in the distance. It was a relatively big pond, to what he could tell. At least, it was big to him. He hadn't really seen ponds in Aileron before, since most the water was brought there.
He decided he'd land in one of the trees near the spot, and watch some of the Pokemon do various things. There were plenty of Water Pokemon, which still made him question why this was called "Grassveil" if it had so many water types. Other than the fact it was surrounded by forests, of course.
He leaded his head back a bit on the branch he was laying on and took in a deep breath. He didn't realize until now, but the air here was relatively easier to breath than in Aileron. It was crisp and fresh, which he really liked. The place was really nice already, he wouldn't be surprised if he never left. |

| Lilly had been walking around the pond, relaxing after a day at her shop. She wondered how Shaman was doing. Suddenly, she looked up, as if checking that Shaman wasn't going to fall on her head again. Instead, she noticed a Gligar. "Hey, what are you doing up there?" She called. |

| Bo looked down with one eye and happened to see a Lillipup talking to him. He leaned back up and leaned a bit forward. "Err, nothing? I've been walking a lot today and sorta seen this place as a nice area to lay down and relax. The name's Bo, and I'm new in town. Who might you be?" He did his 'signature' gesture of putting his claw behind his head as he talked.
This was the first Normal type Pokemon he had met, other than all the Flying types he knew in Aileron that were part Normal. What were they like without the flying bit? The little Lillipup seemed rather serious in her tone of voice, but that was besides the point. |

| "I was just wondering. The first person I met around here was a Riolu named Shaman who fell of tall things and landed on other people's heads in his sleep. So I get kind of paranoid about that. Plus, you're the first Pokemon I met who was a poison type." She laughed, and said, "Sadly, I can't come up to you. Would you be so kind as to come down?" |

| "Sure, one sec." Bo flew down to the ground, so he was standing by the Lillipup. He didn't realize it was rude doing that, but he guessed it would be to a Pokemon that can't fly.
"I've never met this Shaman before. I only came to town very recently, so I only know a few people. I plan to know as many as I can though! I love getting to know people." He said, getting adjusted to standing up again. Man, did his bottom claws hurt. His upper body is pretty used to flying, but with how often he walks, it sorta hurt to stand up at the moment. He decided to sit against tree, making him about the same height as the Lillipup now.
"Speaking of getting to know others, you are the first pure normal type I've met. Strange coincidence, eh? Haha. What might your name be? I've already told you mine, and I'd like to have something to call you by!" He said, extending out a claw. |

| "My name is Lilly," she said, taking Bo's claw. "And you're the first Poison type I met. Anyways, since we're both fairly new in town, how about we go around a bit?" |

| It was rather strange for Bo to meet someone so willingly to start getting to know him, but it's not like he cared much for that. It meant a new friend! "Sure Lilly! I'd love to get to know you. How about we walk down by the water's edge?" He said, realizing that he suggested walking even though his feet-claws still hurt a bit. "I'd sorta like to get my feet in the water anyways. They are pretty sore." He said, doing his signature gesture of putting his right claw behind his head. His neckerchief glowed a bit more blue than usual in the bright sunlight.

| "Yeah, a swim would be nice." Lilly replied. She ran down to the water and jumped in. "Come on! the water is awesome!" she yelled. |

| He watched as the little Lillipup ran off into the water and made a large slash. Wow, she is energetic! When she offered for him to jump in as well, he sorta scuffed his claw-feet against the ground before sitting down and putting them in the water. "I-I'm fine. I'm not really good at swimming." He said, looking away a bit sullen. "So what brought you to this town? You plan on making a shop or joining the Guild, maybe?" |

| "I do own a shop," Lilly admitted. "But it isn't doing too well. It's called the Herb Stop." |

| Bo tilted his head a little bit, slightly confused. "A herb shop? Like, you sell plants or what?" He didn't really understand what Lilly meant by this. Then again, he usually didn't get things. "Well, whatever you sell, I'd love to look through it later! So, do you have any family?" Bo said, throwing a grin on his face.
The water felt really nice on his feet, and he almost was tempted to get in the water, but was too nervous to. He wasn't really a good swimmer. In fact, he couldn't really swim at all. He usually just sank to the bottom and flailed about crazily. |

| "No, silly. I sell herbal medicine. Mostly made of dried berries. Sometimes I use Oran bark, Sitrus bark, willow bark. That kind of stuff. If I ever find a Watemel berry, I can make candy. Now that would be awesome." She paddled around a bit, then suddenly went up to Bo and pulled him in by the tail. She set him on her back and kept paddling as strong as ever. |

| "Ohh, does that mean Rawst berr-AHH!" He was going to ask about the berries, but a sudden tug on his tail had him being pulled into the water by the Lillipup. Splashing and flailing around for a moment, he happened to grab onto her. She was able to keep him afloat, which sorta surprised him. "Darn you, pulling me in. I should pay more attention!" He said, trying to put his arm behind his neck, but he started to slip and just grabbed back on and let out a small laugh. "Um...can you put me back on the shore?" He said with a shaky tone in his voice. He really didn't want to be in the water as much as he was. |

| "Ha ha ha. No way! I'm having too much fun. Come on, you don't have to be afraid. I got you. If it makes you feel better you can tie yourself on with some kelp or something. I'm going to the middle- there's a huge rock there- and you're coming with me!" She giggled, and started swimming out with long hard strokes. "If your wing are so big, why can't you use them to keep yourself afloat?" she asked. "You could lay on your back and move them up and down." She thought that was sound resoning, even if Bo was part ground type. She imagined him just below the water, skimming with ease, slightly moving his wings. |

| Bo turned his head around as the shore of the pond got farther away. He got a little teary. "Oh man..." He said, putting his head down on Lilly's back. She then said something about using his wings to...float in the water? Would that even work?
"I-I guess I could try it..." Bo said, thinking about letting go. He didn't really like the water that much, but as long as she was here, I guess he'd still have something to grab on to. "Um... but can I do it when we are the rock?" He said, putting a worried face on. It'd be deeper there, but at least he could try climbing up the side of the rock if he went under and couldn't get up. |
