Noel let out a small sigh as she sat leaned up against a tree. Noel stared at the water which reflected the darkness that was obvious in the sky, before the pond would glow reflecting the light from the sun but now this what it showed. Noel looked around the area noticing the Pokemon that decided to stay here, some brave or foolish or even unknowing of the dark ferals that littered this area, whatever the reasons they were happy for some reason, happy be with one another, happy to spend time together despite the darkness. Noel was here to make sure that they didn't have to deal with the ferals, they didn't know it but she felt they felt a bit safer with a large strong looking Lucario here.

Noel leaned back and shut her eyes for a moment deciding to think on the things she had heard of, Noel was worried about Az and her mother but felt Az was a smart kid, she'd be safe with her teacher to guide her. "Wait kid? I really gotta stop talking like I'm older then everyone." Noel muttered out, she was older then she was but after evolving she felt older for some reason, it was really weird but it happened. "Screw the darkness, I won't let anything happen here." Noel said to herself, her face showed a smile as she sat eyes closed enjoying the small amount of peace in the area.

As the rocks had been thrown and the riolu darted in another direction around Noel. He noticed that the moment the rock made was within two arm lengths away from Noel. She smacked it with a glowing blue bone that seemed to be made with aura based energy. However, he still felt confident enough to approach the lucario a little ways behind. He came from a 5 o’clock angle towards the Lucario.

He rushed in using both his agility and his quick attack together to boost the speed a little further as he approached. He was going to attempt to land a quick strike, but the second he got about a yard or two away… Noel had turned around. He was now a similar length away from the Lucario as the rock when she had struck it with the bone she had previously formed.

Raul was caught off guard by this, quickly attempting to change his angle so the bone wouldn’t hit him. However, there wasn’t enough time for him, as she was still faster than him. The bone struck him as he attempted to slide under it and he ground to a stop just in front of Noel. He could be seen holding his head for a moment before he opened his eyes to look at where he was, taking only a second or two before he had opened his eyes after the hit.

The bone that had struck him, hit him just enough to confuse him slightly due to how fast the event occurred. Now lying on the ground, the riolu looked forward from the ground to see Noel in front of him. He smiled as he saw her as he had found a challenge he would continue to chase.

What struck him odd, was how fast Noel had reacted. She had reacted in a strikingly similar fashion as his Theynin would. However, not using the same moves, she had basically waited until he closed in before attempting to hit him.

He rolled to the side and onto his paws before jumping back some ways. It was fairly clear that he was still willing to try and land a hit. He didn’t have much marks on him… yet. However, it will show that he is fairly persistent with any form of training.

Noel looked at Raul as she bashed him with the attack, she however made no motion with her feet to add turning force to the move, nor had she even flicked her wrist to add just that small little impact strength, she was basically just swinging it as it was. Noel pointed the weapon at the Riolu on the ground, she could of sworn she saw a smile on his face, Noel smiled also.

Noel let Raul jump back gaining some distance between the two of them, this would end up playing in her advantage as well seeing as she was trying to do nothing but block rather then go full out with her attacks, she shifted her front leg back behind her other one and held the bone downward having it cover most on her body down to her knee, a defensive stance.

Noel stood in this stance her eyes never leaving Raul, she knew he was fast, not fast enough for her not to catch in the act but fast enough where she'd at least have to watch herself, every angle was a target.

Raul thought for a moment went back to his starting position. He knew that he wasn’t going to land many hits at this rate. It was very clear that he is outmatched. However, it didn’t mean this wasn’t good training. His Theynin had always stated that this kind of training was perfect to hone one-self’s skills. It was mostly risk free, and you always have a challenge in front of you. It was when that challenge was conquered, is when you were ready for the next one.

Raul glanced around as he kept an eye on his opponent. He was looking for other things he could use to his advantage. One of those things was the surrounding tree line that circled the pond. However, his sparring area didn’t cover it unless his opponent moved along with him. The other things he could use was a few stray boulders that surrounded the pond, and two trees that sat next to the pond.

Raul looked at the Lucario’s stance for a moment, noting the defense position she had taken. The one thing he noticed was how she had used the bone she had summoned to cover her front, and her front leg had been shifted closer to her back one. Taking that she could use the bone to help balance herself and her position made it easier for her defend herself from behind. He decided to go straight towards her.

He began to rush forwards as he prepared to counter whatever she was going to throw at him. If it were the bone, he would deflect it and swipe underneath towards her legs. Be another attack, he would attempt to catch the attack and shift around it to land his hit. Anything else, he would have to improvise at the moment…

His plan was to get his to lose their balance in some way. Their defensive position would make it hard to land any hits, and if they lost their footing. It would give him more chances to land at least a single hit.

Noel waited never letting her eyes leave Raul, she knew this place she had been here many times before and knew how to fight someone here, the trees would provide multiple advantages for someone as small and as fast as Raul. Noel also knew she'd have to be around there and a more open field made for a better battlefield for her. Noel made sure to note everything that could be used against her, she didn't think about using them since she couldn't lessen the blow if she used an object to fight, she didn't want to hurt Raul, which also made it hard to fight.

Noel waited closely deciding what to do, he seemed to take note she wouldn't be hit from behind and attempted a full rush right towards her. Noel paused for a moment letting her bottom paw let go of the bone while holding the top of it tightly with her right paw. Noel then spun around using her back foot to add to the momentum and threw the bone straight at Raul as he tried to rush at her.

Noel brought her her left paw up and focused a large amount of psychic energy for a spit second attack right after throwing the bone, depending on if Raul ducked, side stepped or even deflected the Bone she'd fired off a Psychic wave at the exact place he was right after the attack. As Noel did this her thoughts couldn't help but wander back to when she trained with her mother, this was the same tactic she had used against Noel herself.

Raul continued to rush towards Noel, noting the motion of the bone she had started flying towards him. He quickly deflected it to the side as it came within reach. Raul then decided to move to the side in case of another attack rushing towards him at the moment.

As he had done this, he noted the small ripple in the ground as some kind of energy rushed towards his exact position. His eyes widened as the energy was now moments away from him. He quickly leapt to the side as the wave struck the area. As he had jumped, he picked up a rock and threw it into the path of the energy, just to see how it reacted.

When he had jumped, his landing was really bad due to the sudden need to get out of the way of something. He landed on one of his legs, but slipped as the area where he had landed was a bit wet from the proximity of the pond. Raul used his paws to reduce the impact from the slip. However, if that attack that he had avoided was able to move. He wasn’t going to be able to avoid it again as he was per-occupied.

Noel looked at the Bone as it flew away, since that counted as a hit the attack faded and fully vanished. Noel couldn't help but smirk as Raul jumped out of the way and landed badly, were this an actual fight this might of been it for the Riolu. Noel noticed him throw a rock at the psychic wave, it impacted the thrown object and sent it backwards yet continued its course and hit the ground where Raul was previously.

Noel saw he was in the proximity of the pond slipping and falling to his hands unable to instantly recover. Noel held up her paw once again focusing Aura into her paw. Noel sat there staring at Raul before sending the ball of Aura right towards the Riolu. Noel however didn't build up nearly as much Aura as she could of to the attack, the less weight of the ball made it go faster then it normally would but of course wouldn't have the same impact strength.

As Raul began to recover from his slip up on the slippery ground. He felt the aura being syphoned away from Noel as it was pulled into a form of a ball. He realized what it was and made haste to get some footing on the ground. As the energy started to move towards him, he now had some form of traction on the ground as he went to jump out of the way of the incoming energetic ball of energy. Raul braced himself as he jumped away, not once looking at the ball as he did so. He felt the energy’s path and speed, and knew he wasn’t going to come out without being hit in some way. The ball of energy was moving too fast!

As the ball of energy struck the ground directly where he was a second ago. The ball’s explosion was large enough to hit him, especially since he was only a foot or two away from the impact zone. Luckily, the ball wasn’t packed with too much energy. Raul was pushed back by the small explosion as he managed to get on his feet. He slid back towards the pond until the water was touching his paws.

As he kept steady, he watched Noel from the ponds edge. He now figured that it was much more difficult to get close to her, instead he will play more defensively as he waits for the distance to close. He kept his footing spread apart enough to be able to move in any direction he needed. He lifted his arms into a defensive stance with his right being further out than the other. They were close together, but far enough apart to block most attacks in front of him or to shift his movements to avoid them.
