» Personality: Sakura is as timid as they come. Right down to the way they carry themself to how easily embarrassed they become with even the slightest bit of affection. Their entire being is one of the most intense amounts of fear and, oddly enough, adventure. Despite their fear of others they love to explore and see what is in the world. They have always wanted to venture to far off places to not only help others but to simply explore the places that could be hidden away. They dream big for such a small ghost pokemon, but they feel that if they can just overcome their fears they will be able to do so much more. Which may be true, but such a thing will not be easy.
They are normally very kind towards others, being as helpful as possible to those in need. It will take a lot to actually not step in to help. That being said, that a lot would have to be a group of 4 or more pokemon. They will run to get help, but won't actually step in. They normally apologize afterwards for not just stepping in and go on their way.
Really they are just extremely introvert, so socializing makes them nervous. After to much of it they really need time to recharge. Normally by reading a book or simply taking a little nap. It recharges them back to being a bit more energetic.
» Likes
Reading- Sakura has always loved the thought of a reality outside of the regular one. Therefor they read to kind of escape that reality. They will spend hours reading at times and it is kind of hard to break them from the seemingly trance like state they are in as they read.
Myths- Again, the same thing with books. They love the idea of a reality separate from this one. However, with this one it could mean all the stuff in the stories they read could possibly be real! This thought excites them more than anything.
Different types of music- Music is something that is supposed to make people feel a large range of emotions. This is no different for Sakura, as they love the range of emotions music can make people feel. They even tend to subconsciously sing along without realizing with a hauntingly pretty voice. Some describe it as cute or beautiful while others just find it creepy.
Strange trinkets- They just find them interesting! Little broken watches and music boxes are some of her favorites, however they did find this really adorable little pink bow that they enjoy wearing occasionally.
Sleep- It's their way to recharge after dealing with a large crowd of people. Things like that can be tiring for them, so sleeping is really nice afterwards.
» Dislikes:
Large crowds- Large crowds just tend to make them very uncomfortable. They feel small and isolated and since everyone is so distracted, of something were to happen to them it is unlikely anyone would do anything.
New people- New people just make them very nervous. They would rather just keep to themselves and sleep rather than deal with meeting someone new. They will warm up eventually, but they would just rather not go through that hassle.
Bullies: After many years of witnessing bullying first hand it has given them an intense dislike for pokemon that pick on others. If there is one thing they will actually stand up to, it's bullying.
» History: Sakura was thrown into the world from a small egg made by a mother Trevenant, named Akemi, and their father Dusknoir, named Mamoon. They lived a happy life within the forest, both parent pokemon being fearsome to everyone in the forest besides each other and their precious daughter. They had an extremely happy life together, however many pokemon came around the nest they inhabited to sometimes challenge her parents. This always scared the young Phantump, who always thought that someday maybe some pokemon would be to strong for both of her parents and would try to take her away. Her parents assured her they would never let that happen, but it didn't really put her mind to ease.
As Sakura turned the age of 5, she became much more curious. She would often wander from the nest as most young pokemon did and would be brought back by a worried parent with a scold that went in one ear and out the other. She continually did this, just becoming a bit sneakier about it. She loved exploring the forest and making friends with the little Spritzees and Pumpkaboo. She would always manage to sneak back while her parents were gone or looking for her.
However, then came the day she didn't make it back in time. She had been going home as usual, smiling and humming to herself as she came across a Mightyena. She was confused about the way it had looked at her, it seemed angry at her presence. She tried to talk to it, thinking maybe it was something else and wanting to maybe help. However, as she became closer the Mightyena pounced on her. She screamed and tried to squirm away, eventually succeeding but not before it had done some significant damage. She ran back home to her parents who had been worried sick. After seeing the damage done, her parents asked what happened as the little Phantump broke down and sobbed.
Since then, their timidness has come in full swing. It is about 10 years later and they still has a tiny scar on their right cheek. Bigger pokemon still scare her, especially dark types. However, she is slowly getting over the fear. Her parents are very supportive of her decision, even pushing her to do her best at almost every time she goes out on adventure. She appreciates this really, just sometimes they can be a bit...well...overly-pushy.
