» Personality:
An easy going Snivy that looks out for his friends, quite obvious, but what really sets him apart from the others is that he seems to care little about gender. He feels that it does not matter what you are but how you are and how you act. He does not care if he's called a girl and doesn't use terms like "throws like a girl" or "be a man" since he does not agree with gender stereotyping. The snivy is game for almost anything and loves to experiment and explore different routes to go about when traveling and methods of doing things. He's pretty much the kind of guy that will sit there and think for a bit before going "OH!OH!OH! DUDE! WHAT IF WE DID THIS!?!?" now, he doesn't actually talk like that of course. He's usually the source of his gang's shenanigans due to his ideas and wishful thinking. If you're looking for the one who started it all when his little gang is involved, then he's usually the first to be looked at.
» Likes:
Ideas - He loves it when he comes up with something that actually works, it gives him a sense of success, and he likes coming up with ideas to consider in general since it helps in assisting the trio of friends he participates in helping.
Spotlight - He hates to admit it, but he likes being the star of the show. He doesn't mind standing to the sidelines from time to time, but being the center of the attention and being the one to be thanked brings great pride to him and gives him reason to rub his accomplishments into those that bullied him's faces.
The Sun - He has a particular fondness for the sun, he likes to sun-bathe and will often be found chilling out in a sunny area. He favors the warmth of the sun against his body and he isn't afraid of flames due to his affinity for the heat from the sun.
» Dislikes:
Gender Stereotypes - He was raised in an environment that shunned phrases like "Be a Man" or "You Throw Like A Woman" so he himself believes gender stereotypes to be a highly shunned thing. He acknowledges that some people like to be identified as male and female and referred to as such, but any forced stereotyping is a definite no-no.
Winter - Its cold harsh grip is something this little grass snake loathes, it's not because of the weakness, but more of because of the absence of heat and how dead it makes everything look. The trees are barren and look as if they will no longer live to see another day, it is also the season he happened to get really sick and nearly die of a flu-virus-thing.
When ideas are rejected/don't work - When his ideas are rejected, he often gets rather pouty. He works hard for his ideas, and to shoot them down without a thought is a direct insult to his intelligence, and will not be taken lightly.
» History:
Born to a couple consisting of both females, they had the help of a ditto so shoosh, a Serperior and a Pyroar. He was raised to the belief that gender was just something society gave them, and it was not something to be valued too highly. He decided for himself that he would not care what people would call him so long as it was not derogatory.
He was bullied because of his parents, often teased about who would do the work in the relationship. At first, he attempted to stand up to them, only to be beaten down physically due to his lack of powerful moves and left in the cold of winter alone. He was found and brought home by a tepig and a piplup, as his life was almost ended by the bitter winter. He was able to pull through, and live the harsh encounter.
He thanked the two that saved his life, and began to hang out with them a bit more. The three played together and grew up to be the best of friends together. A few years later, the group decided to leave their homes together as Jade dreamed of going off on adventures, he bid his mothers farewell, and set off to go on adventures with his friends. There was some concern about his general safety considering he was the weaker one of the group, but he had convinced them to allow him to leave under his friends taking an oath to protect him. He thought it rather silly, but if it allowed his parents to let him go then he tolerated it.
However, a rather large...obstacle, Came in their way. That obstacle? A hurricane. They had been staying at an inn of some town and were blocked in by a large storm that started out normal at first, only it grew worse and worse until it was a full blown hurricane. The snivy had been separated from his friends, and has not been able to find them since. He had been dragged out of the town with the massive floodings that occurred, and found himself quite a large distance from the town. When he returned, he found that his friends were no longer there!
Determined, Jade set out to find his friends once more. He marched onward, and passed out at the outskirts of Grassveil, where his story shall begin.
» Other: Gender Ambiguous, he identifies as male and is naturally a male, but seems to look rather feminine. He does not care if you call him a female and does not find Gender to be important. You CANNOT know his gender just by looking and hearing him, you'd have to specifically ask.
