Sonic & Shadow (Rezikun ONLY!! I mean it.)

Today had been relaxing for Sonic, despite the fact he had just destroyed a huge time swallowing monster that nearly killed him. He was so tired, that when they got back, he passed out asleep under a tree. So, long story short, he never legitimately celebrated his birthday. Oh, well. Not a problem. Sonic sighed, looking up at the sky. He hoped he could at least take a 3 day long break from villain catching to regain his strength. Honestly, could a guy get some rest around here? 'It seems almost like I'm fighting Egghead or some other villain every five minutes of the day...' The blue blur thought.

Shadow just stood there arm's crossed not really paying attention. "Wow doctor this must of been a bad time for you. Just a simple iron ball" he said as the doctor got mad and tried hitting a button but the damage sonic had done did it's damage on the machine as eggman is taken away.

"Yeah... it was a lot harder with the ball, because every time I'd jump up, it would nail me in the face... not fun." Sonic muttered. Just thinking about it made his face hurt. Well, this time Shadow had severed it off the first chance he got, so the ball hand't been a problem. "Thanks for severing it off, though. That took a huge load off." He told Shadow.

"You are welcome now I guess we should go now" he said as he walked out of the door then noticed something. There were so many portals with the doctor before he had any good inventions so he decided to do something and dash forward at a blinding rate. When he finished all of the doctors lame creations were destroyed. "Pathetic" he said as he looked for sonic

Sonic had already stepped through the doorway out of the level, and sighed. How many more were there? He sort of lost count of how many bosses existed over 21 years... Well, he'd just have to find out by beating them all.. The blue blur waited for Shadow patiently, and he stepped out about 2 minutes later. Then they walked on towards the next level that Shadow hadn't obliterated.

Shadow walks into the new place as they were in space now. Shadow was slightly confused about this but then looked back to see a large Eggman robot shaped as him holding the master emerald. "Finally a challenge" he said as he noticed the robot seemed to be a higher tech then eggman should of had at that time. Was the time eater giving him more power? "Let's go" he says as he throws a chaos spear

The blue blur nodded and ran forward, circling the 'bot several times while thinking of some sort of an attack plan. 'Ok... so I could go- nope. Uhmm... maybe.. nope. Aha! I could do this, go there then jump up....' Eventually after having circled it 10 times he thought up something, leapt up, pulling a homing attack on its head. Jumping down, he repeated this several times, and then gave Shadow a chance to do something.

Shadow was getting ready as sonic did a distraction. As he was running around the bit he was building up power as he glowed with a red haze as he walked over to the bit after sonic was done. "Chaos Blast" she shouts out as the room is filled with a dark chaos energy destroying only those he saw as his enemies. Strangely sonic wasn't damaged by the move in the slightest

After the huge flash of light disappeared, Sonic saw a rusted up, destroyed, and mangled robot. "Well, that really took a toll on it, now didn't it?" The hedgehog remarked. He smirked. "Another one of Egghead's 'bots down... tons more to go." The blue blur muttered to himself. God knew how many bosses were left, and Sonic only had so much energy to use.

"Well maybe we should rest in between." He then decided to explain why. "In that ace time doesn't move even for the time eater it seemed to we should be able to rest for a bit in between the area's" shadow said as he walked out but he noticed a new portal it was station square completely normal. "A boss isn't there?" He said remarking that there wasn't a portrait of the boss

"Huh... that's weird... If we're going to rest, let's do it out here instead... just in case. We can't just assume that there isn't a boss." The hedgehog shrugged. You never knew, there could be one without a portrait. Sonic sighed, and sat down. He wasn't going in there just yet, so he was going to recharge. No way was the blue blur going in unprepared.

Shadow shot sonic a glare that screamed shut the fu** up as he crosses his arms and waited for sonic to recover. He didn't think that there wouldn't be just a random one that didn't have a portrait just to trick them this beast was feral uncontrollable tactics were something it probably couldn't do correctly but he decided to humor the h Faker and laugh when he was correct

Sonic shot Shadow a stare right back, despite feeling a tiny bit startled by the angry look in his eyes. Within 5 minutes he was fine. The blur ran straight at the station square portal and leapt in. After Shadow stepped through, he glanced around, sensing no immediate danger. There had to be one here... otherwise the stop here would be pointless. "Where is it..?" He muttered, scanning the area again. Where the heck was the boss? There was a boss here, right?

Shadow then thinks for a second before coming up with a answer. "The game this place was based on was a adventure game. So I'd assume we just walk around and find the area's that had the boss more portals should be there" shadow said as he looked at sonic with eyes that said told ya so. "Also you defeated Chaos so he wouldn't be here" he added at the end as he looked around. "So this place works like it's own timeline and we can interact like nothing happened here" he said slightly confused

"Weird....." Sonic said. He started walking around, looking for a boss portal. So they were pulling a Sonic Unleashed? ok, fine. They just needed to find the place where they find the boss portal. It had to be around here somewhere..... Then he found the places where there were random symbols hovering in the air. "I think I might've found it..." Sonic said, walking forward. When he warped to the other side, he saw the boss portal. "Wasn't so hard...." He muttered and walked towards it.

Shadow walked around as he noticed something sitting on the ground. It was a chaos emerald so he picked it up and looked at it. "Excellent" he said as he put the emerald away but hearing sonic he rushed over using his air skates and went through the portal with him. He saw eggman again in some sort of Hornet mechanism. "Heh Chaos Control" he shouts as he stops time and space and delivers a powerful blow to the mech which causes it to fall down slightly
