The Final Stretch of a Long Journey

Izumi stepped carefully into the undergrowth at the entrance to Shadowhue Forest and took a look around. It was a very ominous place and it got extremely dark almost immediately as one walked in, so Izumi was thanking Arceus that she had her nose to lead her around. Her eyesight probably wouldnt take her too far in this dark place; she was no Luxray. She waited a moment for her sister before continuing to pad further into the forest.

Tsukishiro dashed towards the Poochyena, intending to use Feint to give Izumi the chance to get back on her feet. However, as she was running, she felt herself suddenly getting faster. As she dashed towards the Poochyena, she targeted him, deciding to use the sudden burst of speed to her advantage. She full body tackled the Poochyena using her newly acquired Quick Attack move.

"That was Quick Attack!" Izumi thought to herself as she hauled herself off the ground. "Looks like Tsukishiro beat me to learning a new move." she sighed with a grin. She prepared her Feint attack and charged at the Poochyena, who had been sent flying a little farther down the path by the Quick Attack.

Continuing her Quick Attack, Tsukishiro peeled off and darted around the Poochyena to come at him from the opposite side, boxing him in. Shiro liked the extra speed that the move gave her, enhancing her already high speed to what could be compared to lightning fast for lack of a better metaphor.

The Poochyena had nowhere to run, and as such it wasn't really surprising when the Feint attack hit him head-on. There really wasn't much to say except that, seeing as he hadn't recovered from Izumi's attack, it would be unsurprising if Tsukishiro's attack was an OHKO. "Well, that was suprisingly quick. Must have been a younger one." Izumi observed. "We had better move on quickly in case the rest of the pack is around....."

"I'm not complaining!" grinned Tsukishiro, dashing on ahead before the Poochyena could wake or others could attack in it's place. She knew how close they were and could almost taste the sweetness of the end of their journey and couldn't wait to start their new life in Grassveil Town.
