| As soon as he had heard the news sorren grabbed chie and ran. The riddle was too vague at first for sorren to commit to searching any one dungeon, but once it was out in the public that a new dungeon had appeared that was linked to Pricklemist hill there were no doubts.
And it was a beautiful dungeon as well. as soon as sorren had made it across the lake he took in the majesty of it all. a soft wind was blowing, and leaves across the autumn spectrum were strewn along the ground. You could hardly walk anywhere without the satisfying crunch of the leaves beneath your feet.
"This is exiting, I'm finally doing some actual exploring. treasure hunting! the whole nine yards!" Sorren exclaimed, giddy with enthusiasm. "Plus It will be nice not to have to worry about any job coming here, I'm just going to enjoy myself. How about you Chie? you exited for an adventure?"

| What was this place? Revira had never seen anything like it before in her life. Those things - trees they were called - had taken on a cover of various colours. Red, yellow, orange...trees weren't supposed to look like that. Were they sick maybe? But with all of them in this one area the source would have to be somewhere around here. Maybe she could find and destroy it and thus save all the trees in the area! Then the Rock type could be a hero or something! A single leaf landed on the Water type's nose. "Waah!" In her surprise the Omanyte would have jumped into the air, were her shell not too heavy for this sort of thing. These trees were sick. Definitely. Why else would they show discoloration and rapidly lose their leaves? Did this sickness have a name yet? Probably not - Revira had never heard of this place before after all. Thus she decided to name it...The Fall.
They wouldn't find him here. Hopefully noone would. There had never been any mentioning of this area in any source, so noone should know about it. Finally Ned the Nincada should have some well-earned peace and quiet. The orange colour of the leaves would contrast against his white hide, but the green leaves of normal trees did so anyway, making this not much of a problem. As long as the trees didn't differ in their sap this could very well be the place the Nincada could wait in until his evolution could finally set in. Just as long as he wouldn't be disturbed yet again by some other Pokémon he would only have to wait until it happened after all. And since noone had heard of this place before, there shouldn't be anyone around to do so.
The Duskull chuckled. "More about what we might find here! It's not a real adventure without any treasure after all!" This was one of the few moments in her life that Chie was actually positively excited about something. This situation - it was just like in all of her books after all! Better even - she was actually in it this time! A completely unexplored place, its mysteries completely unknown to the entire world! The two of them would become famous explorers just like this Poochyenna Jones! An entire new world waiting to be explored! What would they find? The Sorcerer's Stone? The secret to immortality? A jar of peanut butter? The possibilities were endless!

| "alright, We don't know what's going to be in there, and we need to keep our energy up, I went and picked some berries a while ago, Have an oran, we'll both probably need it." Sorren said, getting the requisite berries from his bag.
He took a good bite from one of the blue berries and already felt the werrieness of their journy to reach the copse leave him. Peak performance and plenty of berries. Sorren was ready to take on this doungeon and he knew chie felt the same.
he heard a distant cry, maybe a feral from the copse, they would find out soon enough. With the sun high in the sky it was Adventure Time!

| Where should she start exploring? All the trees here looked just like...trees only that they had this strange discoloration. There was nothing the Omanyte could see that might possibly give her a hint as for to where to search for the source of this corruption first. Suddenly a distant cry caught her attention. What was that? A feral Pokémon? But that would mean that this place had fallen victim to this Mystery Dungeon pandemic as well! This was terrible! But on the other hand...maybe whatever it was that was causing for these poor trees to wither was the source of all the bad things that kept happening in this world!
So, finally the Nincada would be able to have some peace and quiet for himself. There wasn't a single Pokémon around who could destroy this peaceful tranquil- A cry pierced the silence that had previously enveloped the area. "Well, damn. Of course I couldn't have a place to myself without constantly being disturbed by Pokémon, feral or otherwise. No, as he knew his luck the Nincada would most definitely wind up being dragged along with other Pokémon on some idiotic hunt for something completely useless instead. Why, just why couldn't he find a place to hide without being disturbed every five seconds?
"Uh, thanks I guess.", Chie replied, quite surprised. Shouldn't Sorren use his berries for himself rather than to waste them on her? But then again that was the reason he was the team leader while Chie was not. However there was one thing she would have preferred for him to have done differently. It would have been more efficient to only use the berries in case they would actually need them - facing a battle or something of the sort. Just using them now and then not encountering anything would not only be a tremendous disappointment, but also a waste of those berries now for example.

| Sorren walked forward, crunching leaves under foot. the further into the Copse he got the better it looked. it reminded him of his element. Just like fire, it was also dangerous. Sorren steeled himself. He noticed a clearing up ahead and made it carefully to the edge. "Get ready Chie" Sorren said, before walking out into the sunlight. - Dediles carried out 10 launched of one Fallen Leaf Copse :

| Further and further the Omanyte crawled into the forest of colours. Somewhere in here there had to be something. Something that would tell her how to stop all this corruption or at least where to go next. Maybe there would be something interesting on that clearing there? Dragging herself out into the open, Revira definitely noticed something interesting there. She really wasn't the only Pokémon around. On the clearing quite a few other Pokémon were to be found amidst a heap of items. Maybe she could ask them nicely to let her through?- Savato carried out 4 launched of one Fallen Leaf Copse :

Trying to get away from whatever it was that made that sound, the Nincada kept on skittering across the forest floor, the fallen leaves crunching under his claws. Why couldn't those things be more quiet? It was now that the Nincada noticed that he would have a difficult time here. There were feral Pokémon around, the ground emitted loud noises with every step and almost the entire area was surrounded by water, making fleeing quite difficult. Then a clearing came up in front of the Nincada. Maybe this was the way out of here again? The Bug type had inhibitions about just wandering out into the open like that, but the longer he stayed here the more dangerous it would be for him. And thus he made a step forward. He should have listened to his worries.

Chie would have preferred for the Combusken to have given her a little more time to prepare instead of simply walking out into the open like that. Why were they going there anyway? If there was any treasure on a clearing, then Flying types would most likely have taken it already. But he was her leader, so it was her job to follow him. And as the Duskull saw what was on that clearing, she realized, that her leader would be needing all the help he could get. Quite a few Pokémon were standing around and the Ghost type was sure that those weren't of the friendly type. Maybe they should just turn around and run? No, that was for Sorren to decide.

| Alright, about ten pokemon, half of which were susceptible to fire. too bad Sorren couldn't use fire, if the leaves were to catch the whole forest would go up in flames, and sorren did not want to be the cause of a forest fire again. something bugged sorren, and then he knew, a spec of blue. An omanyte.
What was an Omanyte doing here? then he saw the ribbon on it and made the connection.
"Revira is that you? oh I'm sorren by the way, I evolved since we last met. wait is that Ned? well our chances just improved significantly." Sorren said, rubbing his chin. "hey guys wanna help us take down these pokemon? you can have a share of the loot!"
Sorren had a plan, but it required at least Revira to work. The ground was littered with dry leaves, If sorren were to use ember they would all go up, unless they were wet, If Revira could establish a perimeter of wet leaves around the clearing, sorren would set the dry leaves on fire, causing panic in the ferals, making them easy to take out.
As sorren was contemplating this the battle had already begun. he was hit by a Furret's quick attack and recovered in time to push it away with a double kick and punt a cascoon away.

| Administrative Notice
A new rule has been enforced upon event threads and it applies to this dungeon; You may only roll a maximum of five times per user, per page in an event thread.
That means, for the duration of the event, a user may only roll 5 times on the same page of the thread. The number of rolls you can do is not altered by how many characters are in the thread.
Dediles - Since you have already rolled 10 times on this page, you may not roll on pages 1 or 2 of this thread, but may roll again on page 3. Savato - Since you have rolled 14 times already on this page, you may not roll on pages 1 or 2 of this thread and may only roll once on page 3. However, you can roll another 5 die on page 4.
Sorry for any inconvenience, but this rule has been implemented to make it fairer for all RPers who wish to find the event's treasure.

| Revira's eyes immediately lit up as she saw some specific Pokémon. One of them was a red-yellowish chicken Pokémon the Omanyte remembered from earlier adventures. "Oh, heya, Sorren!" And then there was the Bug type, who was...Revira had absolutely no idea, but she didn't care. That was an awesome Pokémon too! And that floating grey one too! And then there were lots of other Pokémon the Rock type had never seen before either! This place just kept on getting better and better! But why were they here? Had they maybe found a clue that had pointed them here to destroy the corruption as well? Had they gotten lost? Or maybe there was a new restaurant supposed to open here!
Just great. More and more Pokémon appeared on the clearing. There was no way Ned would be able to defeat them all. His only hope would be to get away silently before they could noti- A Combusken called out to him from across the clearing. Great. So much for staying hidden. But maybe Sorren could distract those other Pokémon while Ned would make his exit. Oh, if only he could manage to evolve already. Then most of those Pokémon wouldn't even be able to touch him. But no, he had to remain in this weak, useless form. At least those other Nincada at the clan had their peace and quiet until they could evolve. But tough as his life may be, Ned still was convinced to have made the right choice. And nothing would get him back to that place again.
Now this was an uncomfortable situation. Of course Chie was happy to meet some friends of Sorren and to have some help in this battle, but on the other hand she was bad enough in talking with only one Pokémon. Talking with three would be quite the challenge. But before there would be any talking they would have to focus on combat first. Now - what could be done here? The Phantump would be an easy target for a Faint attack, but of course that meant that it also posed a higher threat to the Duskull with its devastating Ghost type attacks it would inevitably possess. Most of the other Pokémon seemed to be of types Chie would be immune against or at least resistant towards.

| Sorren slapped himself. He had totally forgotten that Revira was an idiot when it comes to feral pokemon. still, if he could count on her support it would make the battle much easier. she just has to be shown they were feral and she would start acting.
as for ned... Sorren had never fought with him before, but he wouldn't be here if he didn't intend to fight, I mean a mysterious stone path leading across a lake to a forest of eternal autumn? no way that was an accident.
"Alright, new plan. Chie I'll take care of the phantump, the rest should pose us no problem. Watch my back, I dunno If he changed but ned might need some back up if he decides to fight. Revira is strong, so don't worry too much about her." Sorren said. time for a good old fashioned brawl.
Sorren broke away and went for the phantump, dodging a string shot from one of the bugs, once close enough he aimed a careful ember at the stump on it's head. the shot barely hit as the ghost retaliated with a shadow ball, which hit sorren square in the chest. jumping back up he heated his claws with ember and began swiping at it.

| What was Sorren doing? Why was he attacking that poor, defenseless Pokémon? The Phantump hadn't done anything to hurt anyone! A grim thought crossed the Omanyte's mind. What if the Combusken had fallen victim to the feral plague as well? "Sorren, stop! What are you doing? Why are you hurting the poor Pokémon?" Hopefully the Fire type would listen to reason. If not, then sad as it may be, the Omanyte would have to take action against the Fighting type. And there were not many things the Water type would hate more than having to fight her friends.
The others seemed to have the situation under control. There was no need for Ned to intervene. And why should he risk his already endangered wellbeing when running away would work just as well? There was no way he could contribute significantly anyway. Those other Pokémon were a fossil creature, a ghastly specter and a flaming karate chicken. Meanwhile he was just a bug. What was he supposed to do here? Nothing. That's what. It was high time for him to make his exit. Maybe Sorren would think he had just been seeing things. Or that he was a different Nincada. Anything to excuse him not having to fight.
"Okay, you're the boss.", Chie nodded. This was one of the qualities the Duskull admired in the Combusken. Sorren always seemed to have a plan. He always knew what to do. So, she was supposed to take care of the other Pokémon, wasn't she? Now - the only Pokémon not resistant towards or outright immune against the Ghost type was the Deerling, so it might be a good idea to focus on it first. A purple glow began to emanate from the crimson orb inside of the Duskull's skull. Finally this charged-up energy was released in a beam of darkness, a Night Shade attack directed at the Grass type. It wasn't much, but it was something.

| "oh for the love of, Revira! I know last time I said I would start asking friend or foe before attacking, however, I have gotten much more experienced and can tell a ferrel from a normal pokemon pretty easily. we attack first, we maintain the upper hand. This is a new dungeon and I'm not taking the chance."
Sorren had said his piece as he dodged purple energy and razor leaves from the Phantump. after a few more embers and hot scratch techniques it was down. He moved to the Furret, dodging and kicking rapidly, dodging string shots from the nearly immobile silcoon.
Ned seemed to be staying out of the battle, must not have gotten over that coward thing. Sorren knew the feeling, as long as they didn't have to protect him it would be fine, Revira was the problem. She was a nice pokemon, but if her eccentricities got the best of her than who knows what she might do.

| Sorren apparently hadn't learned anything at all! How could he simply attack these poor Pokémon? They could very well be friendly explorers just trying to help, and he was attacking them without provocation! Hopefully this didn't mean that the corruption had befallen the Combusken as well. Such violent behaviour was simply not tolerable as it would only cause suffering and strife! That little bug over there meanwhile was a much more polite Pokémon. He didn't attack at all, only observing the situation to make sure the only Pokémon he would attack would be actual enemies. At least that's what the Omanyte believed.
So what was happening now? The Omanyte seemed to be...upset. Did she really believe that some of these Pokémon might actually peaceful? That was perhaps the most idio-...well, actually she did have a point there. After all the other Pokémon could just be explorers from another guild, believing for the Combusken and the Duskull to be feral Pokémon in turn. Just attacking everyone without making sure whether they actually were a foe - that was something the clan would have done. But Ned was not one of them. And he would never be.
There seemed to be some sort of argument between Sorren and the Water type, but Chie was too focussed on the battle to notice what exactly they were arguing about. Hopefully they would be finished soon, as both their help would be greatly appreciated in this battle, much more if it were not distracted by something as petty as an argument. Strands of white were launched in the Duskull's direction, the Bug types attempting to use String Shot to drag her down to the ground and to negate her levitative advantage. However Chie luckily hadn't let herself be distracted by the argument and thus still possessed the mental acuity to be able to dodge the assault, having to interrupt her Night Shade attack to do so however.

| "HA!" Sorren yelled, kicking the Furret unconscious.
taking a few breaths, sorren used focus energy. content with his state of mind, sorren began his asault on the feral bugs. he tried to minimise kicking and use scratches as often as possible, and if he was sure and read the enemy right, would use an ember.
Sorren had honestly forgotten that he would ask friend or foe before starting a battle. It seemed pointless, he came far enough that he could tell the mannerisms of a Feral. He could just Feel it too. Like they lacked the spark of life. or rather theirs was too dim, swallowed by instinct and confusion.

| Revira would never be able to understand Pokémon like SOrren. How could one possibly enjoy the act of willfully doing harm to another living being? How was he even able to live with that conscience of his? Did the Pokémon of this world even have something like a conscience? With what the Omanyte had seen of this place she would have expected for many of its inhabitants to have been crushed under the weight of their own guilty thoughts already. But what could she possibly do to stop this madness? She couldn't just attack Sorren, that would leave her no better than the bully the Fire type was being. But then again she also couldn't just let these poor Pokémon be hurt any further. What should she do?
The situation still seemed to be going on without reaching any real conclusion. The Omanyte was appearing conflicted, staring at the scene of battle. The Duskull was dodging attacks, not really getting the time to land any attacks. Sorren meanwhile was attacking Pokémon left and right, dealing considerable damage but also putting himself in serious danger in the process. Ned could only hope that the Fire type hadn't bitten off more than he could chew there. After all he was thoroughly outnumbered and even with the Duskull at his side this would not be an easy battle. And if things went really wrong, then their argument would end with the Omanyte also entering the battle against Sorren, which would cause some major problems for the Combusken.
Maybe it was her slightly unsettling appearance, but for some reason the Pokémon that had decided to oppose Team Titans seemed to focus on the Duskull, generally leaving the Combusken alone for now. While this certainly allowed for him to deal more damage, it also made matters significantly more complicated for the Duskull, who now had to dodge quite the barrage of attacks. Something needed to change soon, as the constant watchfulness and movement required definitely were a rather exhaustive activity, which also prevented the Ghost type from concentrating for long enough to try and get an attack in on her own.
