Varda quickly glanced down, a bit disappointed how a bird that had traveled around so much hadn't seen his family, either. The search certainly started to feel more impossible now, if even this Pokémon hadn't managed to bump into his flock. Was there anyone left in the world who would know it, then? Then again, Aria did mention how she outright seemed to avoid large flocks of birds, so maybe all hope wasn't lost yet. In fact, the Swablu could still fly around himself and hopefully get back home one day!
"Oh, well, that's alright," the bird chirped, already sounding quite cheerful,
"They don't really fly around much and I'm sure they're looking for me already. I'll have to fly into them eventually," Varda nodded, believing that there was no way for him to be lost forever. Now that it was out of the way, he did get curious as to what it was that Aria was hiding and why she avoided other flocks... But he wasn't given a chance to ask about it now as the Pidgey was already starting to leave.
The Swablu spread his wings as well, flapping them slowly as he tested how well his body performed. It seemed like the poison had worn off for the most part. He was still tired, yes, but he was quite sure he could fly. Varda couldn't quite keep up with Aria of course, but as long as he could see her on the way back to town, it was fine...
((Well, that's it then I guess! Thanks for the thread, it was quite a lot of fun.))
