Makeshift Tour (Open)

With a faint feeling of disdain, a small, reddish-orange Fox Pokemon surveyed the streets. She was new in town, as most could probably tell from how she glanced from shop to shop as if trying to figure out what was where. (Which happened to be exactly what she was doing.) And so far, Lumina could safely say she wasn't big on her new home.

There was too much noise, that was her big problem. The Vulpix had always preferred it when things were quiet, but this town seemed to be bustling. She guessed that the local guild was the blame; it was apparently one of the only ones in the region, with the other one only available to flying Pokemon.

Then again, maybe the guild wasn't entirely a bad thing. Lumina had wondered about joining it a few times; going through Mystery Dungeons was something of a hobby of hers. She wasn't too bad of a fighter, either, for her current level. But she wasn't driven by the will to do good like most guild Pokemon seemed to be, and she didn't really want to form a team...

The Vulpix was jolted out of her thoughts when someone bumped into her, without so much as a brief word of 'sorry' sent her way. She sent a glare at the stranger's back, but he or she just kept walking. She swiftly recognised the Pokemon as an Arcanine, not that it did much good.

With a light sigh, Lumina turned back to the streets. She was trying to mentally map out where everything was - she didn't need to get lost here. Thus continued the Vulpix's makeshift tour. Because like it or not, this was her new home.

Noel quickly buys some stuff for the road this included berries and large amounts of paper the same size as the map she used then she stuffs them into the bag on her side and places the money on the table to pay for all of it "so wanna scope out the town I never got a good look at it and it would be fun to travel for a while longer"

"Sure." The Vulpix replied. She would be fine with going back home around this time, since she was fairly sure that she knew the way from here, but a bit more looking around couldn't hurt. She was still largely a stranger to Grassveil, and Noel didn't seem to know it by memory either. She wondered where the two of them could go. Apparently there was a café somewhere, but it had been out of service for a long time, according to one of the locals. The police station probably wouldn't have anything interesting. Having no ideas on where they could go, Lumina turned to Noel. "Lead the way."

Noel walked for a while leading the vulpix through the area until they come across a rather large building Noel turns and smile "I found this out follow me" Noel then jumps high to the building landing on the roof she then points at a large stack of boxes so the vulpix could climb as she keeps up to the tall building

Hmm, who left all these boxes lying around? They're practically asking someone to climb them. I guess littering's allowed in this city. Lumina thought dryly. After a moment of consideration, she decided to follow Noel. After all, what harm could it do? She was confident enough in her climbing abilities that she wouldn't fall. The Vulpix crouched down for a moment, gathering her strength, before springing onto one of the boxes. It buckled ever so slightly at the impact, but it otherwise held her weight just fine. Lumina repeated the motion, jumping onto box after box, close on the Riolu's trail.

Noel makes her way up to the top of the building "look" points at a rather huge scene of the Sun slowly going down the town as the main plaza lines up with the sunset as it shines "found this place while climbing I think it's beautiful" Noel then sits down

Lumina was panting slightly, the six tails draped across the building's roof. Her legs were feeling a little weak from all that climbing, so she laid on her flank, staring at the view from her side. What she still saw clearly, though, was the sunset slowly dipping below the horizon. The Vulpix took this in for a moment, weighing her thoughts. On one hand, it really was an amazing view, like something straight out of a picture. On the other hand, she had just scaled a building, for what? Some nice scenery? Eventually, the former won out, and she breathed a light sigh. Oh well, a little exercise never hurt anyone. "It's nice, Noel. I really like it. It's like something out of a picture."

Noel nods "it's a little hard to get up here but I still find it worth it and can't hear anyone from the crowd so it's nice and peaceful" Noel looks and sees the vulpix panting "ahh sorry I 'm so used to being up so high I forgot that normal Pokemon don't climb buildings"

The Vulpix let the ghost of a smile cross her face. "It's fine." She decided, rolling over onto her back. She was supposed to be an explorer, after all, and what kind of explorer couldn't take a little climb? "But that might be something you want to keep in mind in the future." She added. She surveyed the view once more; the sun, the colored sky, the horizon. This is a pretty nice place, isn't it?

Noel looks up and smiles "ya it would be a good idea to.keep in the future" Noel looks around the large area "I always love this area only place I.really like in this town no noise what so ever" Noel Stands up scarf blowing in the wind as she looks to the horizon.

The Vulpix nodded to show she was listening. "The rest of the town did seem rather... busy." She mused. Too busy for my liking. Lumina added silently to herself. She kept on looking at the horizon for a minute longer before she rolled over on her stomach and got back to her paws. She felt a tad dizzy for a second, as some people do when they stand up after sitting for a while, but she swiftly shook it off.

"This view is great" Noel then reaches into her bag and pulls out a thing of paper and quickly starts to draw something on a large piece of paper sitting down legs crossed as she keeps drawing on the large thing of paper

Lumina yawned; the time of day (or rather, night) was starting to catch up to her. She couldn't deny that she felt a little drowsy. She watched out of the corner of her eye as Noel picked out a piece of paper, was she making another map? Maybe she was drawing? The Vulpix didn't care to ask, although it had piqued her curiosity. Either way, she laid back down, deciding to stay here a while longer. Her mother probably wouldn't mind; Lumina could just say that she was scoping out the town and got lost. It was even mostly true.

Noel looks at the sleeping vulpix and goes back to drawing she then smiles and puts the drawing down "there now it's perfect" she smiles as she looks down at the large picture of the sunset almost looking exactly like the setting sun as darkness engulfs the whole town Noel looks around "nighttime huh?"

"Hey... I'm not sleeping yet." Lumina protested softly, although she knew that she wasn't far from it. She rested her head on her forepaws and let out another large yawn, which didn't help her argument in the slightest. "To be honest... I think I prefer Grassveil at night. It's a lot more... quiet? No, peaceful."

Noel just stands and smiles "ya the town is a lot better at night no one to run into you and you can run wherever you want" Noel sits down again legs crossed as the lights slowly turn off "maybe a view of the town at night would be refreshing"
