» Likes: There are not many things that Lilly loves more than dancing along to a good beat or simply relaxing and listening to a quite melody. A huge music lover, yet completely unskilled in any musical talents herself, Lilly is a firm believer that music is food for the soul and will stand by the statement. Lilly loves to get a thrill whether that is by traveling to a new area she has never seen, by trying something new, or by pushing herself to do something frightening. For her there is no better feeling than that rush of energy through her body when she completes something challenging. Not a morning person at all, she enjoys the mornings where she can sleep in and be lazy. One of the more simple things that she enjoys is rain simply because it reminds her of home.

» Dislikes: A bit rebellious by nature, Lilly innately dislikes authority figures often having disagreements with them with her view of rules being more like guidelines rather than standards. She dislikes attending formal events because she feels like they are more often than not stiff, awkward, and a waste of time when she could be doing something that she actually enjoys. She often avoids conversational topics about her past and family, simply not wanting to think about that part of her life. For similar reasons she dislikes being around children because they often make her think about her younger brother Zack, a topic she doesn’t want to deal with.

» Personality: Often there are two sides to Lilly, the first side is the one she shows the world, and the second side is the one hidden by her indifferent and complacent facade. The side that most people see when meeting Lilly is her witty, playfully sarcastic, and troublesome personality. Not afraid to speak up and start a fight, Lilly can be known to pick and tease others simply as a way to ease tension or else any boredom that may be happening. There is a certain part of her that enjoys seeing others get riled up, but she usually doesn't mean to cause any harm and says it is done in the name of fun. Pokemon often see her as someone who doesn't take her jobs and responsibilities seriously, but know that when situations get tough she is willing to work hard to see the mission through. Despite her sociable personality Lilly still often uses humor and aloofness to push and keep others away. During the moments when she is questioned about her past or family, she often makes the matter a guessing game, creates an obvious and elaborate lie, or else changes the subject to avoid answering questions. She can also be seen as a daredevil often willing to take on the riskier jobs that many might turn away from.

The hidden side of Lilly is a much softer, serious, and compassionate side that she keeps locked away. It is the side that is still filled with guilt about her brother and family, and the side that clings to the morals and values that she was taught as a child.

» History: Lilly was born and raised in the Cattail Marshes where her family resided in a small house on the outskirts of the plains. Her mother, a Venomoth named Arlene, along with her father, a Beautify named Kit, ran a small guide service for passing Pokémon.  While initially her parents would take turns staying home and raising their young children, an unfortunate accident would kill her mother leaving her father both devastated and alone to raise her along with her five younger siblings.

Being the eldest of her siblings it soon became Lilly's job to watch and help care for her sister and brothers while her father worked long frequent days in order to keep his business a float. While Lilly didn't mind helping her father, as the months passed by she grew restless watching her friends live their carefree lives while she was stuck taking care of her siblings. This restlessness would soon cause her to make a mistake she would regret forever.

It happened on a hot summer day where the heat made you feel as if you were in the process of melting, and the air felt as if it was suffocating with humidity.  In a desperate attempt to survive the heat, Lilly had decided to take her brothers and sisters to a popular local river bank to go swimming. Taking a seat on the shore so that she could watch her siblings from a far, it didn't take her long to become distracted as her eyes soon made contact with a rather cute Shelmet and the two began talking and hitting it off. Wanting to get a bit of privacy, the Shelmet pleaded with her for them to take a walk, and after making sure that her siblings were still safe, she finally obliged knowing that she would be back in a few minutes to check up on them.

It would be nearly an hour until she would return only to find her siblings not there and the area empty. Suddenly freighted and unsure about what to do, Lilly returned home hoping that was simply where her siblings had gone. As she opened her front door, relief flooded through her as she spotted her siblings along with her father, but it would take only seconds for her to realize that something was very wrong. It would be then that her father would tell her that her youngest brother Jack had swam into an undercurrent in the river and had drowned.

Being overwhelmed by guilt and unable to face her father's grief, Lilly soon ran away from home and began to wander the country side lost in a mix of grief and starvation as she fought to survive for the very first time on her own. As the weeks and months passed, she eventually resorted and even grew comfortable in the art of stealing, and sometimes would take side jobs that eventually led to a new found interest in becoming an explorer. During her jobs, she would find that she loved the rush of adrenaline that she would get from discovering new areas and soon her interest in becoming a professional explorer became a dream. As Lilly began to grow more stable in her new life, she decided to adopt the name Vi in hopes of further eliminating her connection and identification with her past. She is now traveling to Grassveil Town in hopes of joining the guild and becoming a stronger and more successful explorer.
