| " No more waiting now."
It was gleeful the way he whispered it back, he didn't need to regret hiding his feelings anymore. They were out in the open and she mirrored his own feeling. He was at a lost for words much like she was, but he liked the way she leaned into him more. They're faces nuzzled and her hand finding his side. His free hand also started to go to her, skimming along her leg up from her knee on the side of her thigh and up her side till he found the small of her back as he kissed her again.
He was surprisingly gentle with the way he kissed her, with all his adrenaline filled antics and quick temper it was hard to imagine Zash as a gentle and caring lover but he was indeed at this moment when he felt all his genuine emotions coming to a head. His kiss was soft yet excited and passionate he wanted more and more of her as he leaned in tilting his head for a deeper and deeper contact. His touch was soft, smooth and considerate, even with such rough hands it managed to be provocative enough without being intrusive or demanding. He smoothed his hands against the skin at the hem of her shirt starting to lift it up to a just above her belly button before he hesitated continuing to lock lips with her but pulling away to communicate with her silently. It was a lot to say with no words but they were tied together she would know him so down to his careful pause at this moment.
Is this okay? If you don't wanna go so fast I understand, but if we start now I don't know if I can stop myself.

| The moment continued into steamier territory as he wrapped more of himself around her, and she was swept up in his embrace. He held her like she never thought anyone would, and while her instinct was to shy away... she did not. She wanted this more than she was intimidated by it.... that wasn't to say that it wasn't terrifying though. And thrilling. Arceus in heaven, was this shit always this contradictory?
"Oh shit. Oh shit. This is happening, we're- oh hello that's my shirt," she thought. "I.... uh, welp." She realized during his pause that he was waiting for her now. He was giving her the time she needed, only she really didn't need anymore time. She grabbed his hand, the one at her shirt, and eased it further in the direction it was heading.
"No more waiting," she agreed softly, "I'm ready, too."

| The intimacy of the moment lasted for a while longer, Zash and Fox took their time, he was gentle and caring of her nerves for this was her first time. In eventuality they moved to the tent for more privacy sake than anything else. They were awake late into the night enjoying the company of each other, the alone time that Zash had wanted was realized in many a way. The pair laid awake a small while after the intimate activities of the night, soft whispers of love and wonder at the state at which they were now in. Fox was first to fall asleep, Zash wasn't surprised after all she had done a hell of a lot with the dance competition, the trampoline basketball game and the whole emotional aspect of the night. He smoothed her hair back from her face affectionately as she snored softly sounding more like a giggle than a snore. He kissed her forehead as she slept softly as not to disrupt her. He whispered softly, " Your cute when your sleeping" as he wrapped his arms around her in a more comfort position as he pressed himself closer to her feeling the pressure of her body against his as he slipped into sleep. ~~~~ Zash did not wake till the afternoon of the next day, he yawned and stretched out his muscles, careful not to disturb his bed partner. His body was incredibly well put together, down to the uncoiling of his muscles from his stupor, it was a strange process making him seem more like a true master piece of nature as oppose to an awkward and more bumbling normal human creature. This was most evident in his waking moments when he was less aware and more moving on instinct than conscious. As the sleep started to shake from his eyes and his manner he tugged Fox closer to him enjoying the moment of waking up not alone but instead next to one and only best friend and his most recent and already most treasured lover. | |

| Zash's familiar, reassuring voice put Fox close to sleep after the tumultuous evening left her in a state of utter zombification. She had grabbed his jacket after everything that had happened and was now curled up in it's inexplicable warmth, feeling intimately cozy in three layers of embrace from the jacket, the blankets, and Zash. Her "whispers" to him were more like drunken sputters and slurred bastardizations of what she actually meant, so that even a simple "I love you" turned into something more like, "Uwaah, auuh, I lah..... like, you, a lot a lot a lot................ uwaaah...," accompanied by sloppy nuzzling and a great neediness for hugs and kisses. That went on for a while, as Fox didn't want to let herself fall asleep until she was sure Zash was. "Dah, I, wuaa..... mmm, Wulf is wahrm but yur haaaawt... Ah... Will.... aww, itsh embarassing........ will you howld my hand.....? ... Oh, oh, you, held mah haaaaaand...... you're so great... mmm, the best ever..... youw the best to me..... so sweet.... huuuh...? Nnnnnn, I, fwa ahh...... nnnnnnnnnnnnn....... nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnNNo, ahm still awake!!! .....nah, I doo.... don't need to sleep. Aahhhnnn.... I want to stay awake wih you...... Will you.... tell me a storry? I like the time in the ca.... the caver..............."
And then Fox coma'd out. No warnings. Her body just literally could not handle being awake anymore.
She woke up the next evening about a half an hour after Zash in a small puddle of drool, still curled up in his jacket for warmth, with one hand tangled in her unruly hair. "haaaaaaaaawn...... faaaaaaahk, oooow," she groaned as she tried derpily to pull it out. She eventually succeeded, but clearly the stupor of exhaustion had not entirely left her.
She looked over.
Saw Zash laying there.
A tired, crooked smile crossed her face lazily.
"Haaaaaaaaaay, how's it going," she drawled, moving in on him. Her face was right in his, her arms wrapped around his neck. She was still blushing, but she clearly had more confidence than last night. The look on her face was a weird face of both goofy and........ something more provocative. "You seem...... awake," she chortled lowly; the way her lips were moving was clearly intentionally pronounced. "Hmm hmm........~ I wonder why thaaat could be....... sounds like and interesting case study... hmm hmm~"
Her voice was dripping with innuendo. Obvious, groan-worthy innuendos.

| Of course the comment of " Your cute when your sleeping" Came after her efforts to stay awake longer than Zash failed and she had crashed, he found the effort endearing and all the more charming coming from her. Her request to tell her a story especially tugged on his heart strings since it was a long running quirk between the two of them, the request for a story a small tale either of them could spin in mere moments now. But the request had always held so much more weight than Zash had thought before, the question was like her asking permission to enter his little world of thought, his wants his desires, his inner sanctum on display. The ease of access to something like that was so very powerful and Zash hadn't given much thought to it until now. Those thoughts had also comforted him in the night.
All of his before thoughts of romance and subtly were almost immediately blown out of the water by Fox's playfulness this morning. He had certainly not expected her to be in a mood like this with such ease. He was pleasantly surprised by her sudden boldness, as her teasing took a new tone, as she seemed to look him over with a more desire filled look then just the way she looked at him before. He couldn't help smiling openly at the words she used though calling it a "case study." Fox is still Fox even in the sack. Zash thought pleasantly to himself. He didn't even have to lean just pucker his lips and tilt his head forward to kiss the tip of her nose. He stayed that close to her and a mischievous smile matched with her previous observation as before as he whispered to her. " now who's being so forward, hmmmmm Foxy?" He returned her tone and he pulled closer to her now.

| The previous evening, 18:34, 1 hangover until complete mental destruction
"Aww, the poor thing...what happened to his leg?"
It was showtime.
Are you really going to do thi-
Ignoring the demonic roommate in the center of his currently inebriated mind, Pika looked up from the small table he was sitting at and shifted his gaze to the girl who had approached him, acting surprised for a second, before looking down to the Absol laying by his feet. The very disgruntled, disappointed, and judgmental Absol by his feet.
"Oh, him?" Pika questioned knowingly, letting out a sigh for good measure as he prepared to tell his story.
You're really going to do this.
"Well, it's a little bit of a long story, I guess. It all started when I went out on this camping trip with a few friends of mine. You know, we all wanted to do something fun, something adventurous. Why not go out in the wilderness for a weekend and spend time away from society? I'll tell you why. When one of your friends has to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and gets lost, that's why." He told the story as if he'd told it hundreds of times before, almost as if it was well rehearsed. And from his point of view, she was eating it up. She even sat down at the table with him to listen.
"So we all get up, go looking for him. It's cold, it's wet, but hey, we aren't leaving anyone behind out there, right? So we split up, and I'm looking around on my own, when I come across this fella here. Don't know for sure what happened, but whatever it is, he's missing a leg, bleeding out, I don't know what I'm gonna do. But I know one thing, and that's that I couldn't possibly leave this guy out there in the state he's in. So you know, I had to take my shirt off and use that as a bandage for him, wrap him up and stuff. Knew that there was a risk of hypothermia there, but hey, I only had two options. A 100% chance that I'd be safe and a 0% chance he'd be safe, or a 50/50 shot at both of us being alright. And, well, I'm just the kind of guy who's willing to take that 50/50."
"Wow...so you're telling me that you put your life on the line, all for him?" She sounded like she was in awe. It was official. She'd fallen hook, line and sinker for his story. Now it was time for the finisher.
"Aw, of course I did. Anybody would have made that decision, nothing special about that. Got him fixed up and carried him back, we found our friend, and we finished our little camping trip early. Got him a fake leg, and, well, here we are." He waved his hand as if the whole situation was nothing, leaning back in his seat. The girl smiled and brought her elbow onto the table, resting her head in the palm of her hand.
"I'm not so sure everybody would have done that. It's a pretty one-of-a-kind thing there."
Pika laughed and brought his hand up. He rubbed the back of his head. Locked eyes with her.
"Well, maybe it is then. After all, I'm a one-of-a-kind kind of guy. The name's Pika, full time wanderer and adventurer. Why don't we sit down a little and talk?"
"I'm Florence. You can call me Flo..."
Present Time, minutes until complete mental destruction
"No way. You've got to be kidding me." That, my friend, is exactly what I was thinking. But no. You sat there and, without any shame, used a bullshit story about Alkaios' missing leg as a flirting device chick-magnet. And it absolutely worked. It worked like a charm, you beautiful bastard.
It was now a lot more understandable to Pika why Alkaios was a bit less friendly with him this morning, simply keeping to himself as he followed alongside the guy. He looked to the pokemon and shrugged.
"Alright, we'll talk about how I'm a terrible person later, okay? For now, let's get back to the story of last night. So...I never made it to Prom, or After-Prom?" Oh, definitely not. You pre-gamed with your buddies who actually go to that school and ended up off doing your own thing. You ended up at the place After-Prom was going to happen, then before that started, you talked to Flo, got her number, and wandered off into the night.
"And somehow we agreed to meet up in the woods the morning."
What can I say? She was really enamored by your camping story, and she thought you both might like to meet up the next morning and "make a new camping story to tell people together". Breakfast over a fire pit, a nice cozy tent to share together. Mmmm, I can't wait to see and fully witness and be totally present for whatever you two get up to. It'll be just like VR...
Pika decided to ignore what Kobal had just said, the alternative being getting reminded that there was a nigh ageless demon in his head that would witness everything he did(everything). After a few more steps through the woods, he finally reached what appeared to be his destination. Just in front of him, there seemed to be a tent set up a safe distance from the edge of a cliff overlooking a beautiful lake.
"Looks like the place to me." He reached up with his arms and yawned, starting to feel a bit excited about the prospect of this. He was about to have some nice, solid alone time with someone, and maybe even get a little something extra out of the experience. Probably more than maybe, that extra something was heavily, heavily implied.
However, as he approached the tent(after asking Alkaios to either stay back or put on his cutest expression. The Absol promptly chose to stay back.), he did so with some caution. Maybe they weren't the only people who would be out here camping, and he'd hate to...
Wait. He had her phone number.
He reached into the pocket of his signature half jacket and pulled out a small, dinky flip-phone, opening it up and scrolling through the contacts. I think last night's becoming a little sharper in my head. Right, Florence, that was her name, in here as Flo. Flo... Pika haphazardly scrolled down to the F's in his contacts, which didn't take too long. There weren't a whole lot of contacts he had, and he only had, what, one F name there? Maybe 2? Confident in his pick, he looked out at the lake as he selected the F name in his contacts and listened.
A second or two passed, and then there was a faint ringing sound from inside the tent in front of him.
Score. This is it, Pika. He thought to himself as he put his phone away and rubbed his hands together, eagerly walking over to the side of the tent. Carefully, not wanting to surprise the girl, he reached forward and grabbed the flap covering the entrance, pulling it away, revealing...
...
......
Oh no. Oh, no. This...this was not the tent he was looking for. It was definitely, absolutely, totally not the tent he was looking for. Inside of it were two people, just starting to wake up it seemed. One of them had her back to him, and she only seemed to have a jacket on. The other, he could see, seemed to be fairly...uncovered himself. Pika froze like a deer in the headlights and stared at the two, his jaw hanging.
That wasn't the worst part. Oh, no, it was not the worst part.
The worst part was that he recognized them. The first giveaway was the girl's hair, and the jacket she was wearing that he was used to seeing on the guy. There was only one person with hair like that, and the guy's face certainly matched the face of the guy he thought he was.
They were Fox and Zash. Fox and Zash were in a tent, practically naked together. And that smell the tent had. He was fully aware of what that was and what it meant. They had...
Pika was stunned into silence. Kobal was stunned into silence. Reaching into his pocket slowly, Pika pulled his phone back out and looked down to it, his face burning up as he looked to see the number he'd called.
Only two F name contacts in his phone. The one above the one he'd hit was Flo. The one he hit? That was Fox.
He opened his mouth further to try and say something, but no words came to his mouth. It was at that moment that he decided that maybe, just maybe, it was better to face these kinds of things with a sense of poise and rationality.
Pika slowly backed his head out of the tent, and very neatly closed the goddamned door, before turning away and beginning to walk off. He was pretty sure he hadn't blinked for the past minute. He had just walked in on a nigh-naked Fox and Zash. Even if he wanted to go looking for the other tent he was supposed to be looking for, any kind of mood he had was gone. Absolutely demolished. Obliterated. Annihilated. Gone.
Kobal was laughing. Oh, god, was he laughing. He was so thoroughly dying of laughter that Pika thought that somehow, some way, the voice in his head was going to pass out from laughter. Having taken a few steps away from the tent and thought about what he was going to say, he finally sorted himself out.
"WELL. THAT JUST HAPPENED." He yelled out, surely loud enough for Fox and Zash to hear. "DON'T MIND ME. I WAS JUST PASSING THROUGH THE AREA, LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT TENT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WOODS. DIDN'T NEED TO...DIDN'T WANT TO SEE...I CAN'T EVEN COME UP WITH SOMETHING WITTY. GOD, YOU TWO...YOU HAD...YOU DID...OUTSIDE TOO? OUTSIDE? I DON'T CARE IF YOU HAD A TENT, BUGS AND OTHER CRAP CAN STILL GET INTO A TENT. YOU GETTING BUGS IN THERE? COME ON GUYS, THIS IS...THINK ABOUT THE CHILDREN, HUH? THERE ARE KIDS ON THIS SITE SOMEWHERE. YOU FADED TO BLACK, BUT THE IMPLICATIONS...REALLY?! DON'T SUPPOSE POSHIE WAS IN ON THIS TOO, HUH? OR TAIGA? TAIGA STILL THERE? YOU GUYS SUBJECT THE CONSCIOUSNESSES IN YOUR HEAD TO THIS...TO YOU TWO DOING...YOU..."
Pika took a breath. He sighed, and looked down, and pinched the bridge of his nose.
Then he sat down at the trunk of a tree several feet away from the tent and laid down there, thinking about what he'd done and what he'd seen.

| Things were just starting to pick up between the two again, things were warm and comfortable with just the perfect amount of spice.... but then, an interruption. In the palm her gauntlet next to them, a loud vibrating noise could be heard. A ringtone cut in, however the phone volume was low so it would be hard to hear outside the tent. - Ringtone:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gT9r_-oHJV0
The screen display showed a picture of a duck and the text "FUCK Dude #badpetownerfuckboi" She picked up the phone, looking at it in a moment of complete confusion. "Pika......?" she questioned, slowly turning to look at Zash with a look on her face that clearly was questioning if this was something he had set up. And then, the tent door opened up. Fox gasped and whipped her her head around at the sound of fabric slipping back, revealing the face of the aforementioned duck... she made eye contact. Direct. Eye. Contact. Everything seized up in her body. She had never felt a stronger urge to just. Die. She stared like a frightened deer at an oncoming semi until he slowly withdrew and shut the door again. There was a moment where she just sat there in that position. Having a tiny stroke. She slowly turned to look at Zash. "Did...... did you......-?" His voice cut her off and she flinched. ".......Eep." She rolled away to where her bag was in the tent and started to dig around inside, looking for her change of clothes. ".....I'm uh........... I'm gonna get changed. And maybe kill myself. I mean, it's not a bad time for it, we're all gonna die anyways and it's going to be at least two seasons spanning more than quadrillions of years before we get back together anyways, not to mention we're all going to be hunted by demons and conceptual forces of fucking nature before that happens and I mean it's basically a fate worse than death anyways, so I don't really see a downside." She blinked. "My bad. I mean, I'm gonna get changed." "But don't hesitate to pick me up some bleach." The internal screams drowned everything out.

| The moment had escalated quiet nicely for Zash things getting hot and heavy in a whirlwind like romance. He felt like this was gonna turn this camping idea into a passionate get away from him and Fox. But all his thoughts were interrupted as Fox's phone rang with one of the most unusual and annoying songs Zash could ever have fathomed. He thought to play the moment off with a smile and a little laugh as to not ruin the mood but then...
The tent flap opened and in popped the head of their mutual friend Pika, with quite the view of Zash and he would have had quite the show of Fox too if not for the immense size of his jacket covering her. Zash's instinctual reaction his first thought with all of this was of all the things was to wink at Pika and flash him the most cocky and apologetic smile he could manage all at once. He could only guess that Pika was a little too... mortified? (Yes that seemed like the right word) to notice. In a hustle he sped off and Fox questioned if Zash had asked him over, he began to reply with a snarky comment before Pika shouted out at them.
On a physcologyical and a meta physical level something of extreme importance happened in that moment something that maintained the balance of the tiny encapsulated universe that they had there, Zash's brain processes had a hiccup allowing him to be able to avoid noticing any mention of things that could brake a dimensional wall and only zoned back in for when Pika was acting as though they had scared him and stuttered off to go huddle up next to a log.
He shook his head thinking how weird it all was as he started to get himself up as Fox slung herself off of him and struggled with her bag Zash grabbed his boxers as she started to brood over the whole situation and...
For the second time in the span of 5-6 seconds another miracle occur preserving the general delicate peace of the multiverse as the particles in Zash's eyes and inner brain momentarily moved in such a way as they normally did but for this obscene coincedience they all moved in the same direction causing the whole of Zash's inner brain functions to negate themselves and be in a state of stasis long enough for him to be unable to gain any forbidden knowledge that was being thrown around like tea shirts at a sporting events half time right now.
He did catch the final parts of Fox's awful mood and quickly slipped on those boxers and jeans, he crawled over to her planted a kiss on her head and whispered " Relax princess, there's no way in hell we could have for seen him sneaking in on us, besides we can all laugh about this looking back." He said soothingly before exiting the tent to let her finish getting decent.
He paced over to Pika and poked him with his bare foot. " Hey come on get over it and help me get some of my shit from the truck." He said dismissively as he started walking over to his car he checked the bed and found his trusty blue ring with his overly polite companion and grabbed it, the glint of the light seemed to be a lot more.... amused? He slipped it on over his flame branded tattoo right along his right ring finger. As it hit his skin the familiar prescence of Poshie entered his mind but he was silent just as he had been before, but Zash could feel a judgementalness in his silence now.
What? He snapped mentally.
... Fox is a very pretty girl. Try not to disappoint her expectations.
He made a sour face at that but shook it off and decided not to let him bother him. He grabbed a backpack which had some of his quality of life things like a toothbrush for instance which was exactly what Zash needed considering he felt like he had dragon breath.

| Kobal's laughter was still dying down as Pika laid there in fetal position on the ground, thinking about what had just gone down still. How would Zash react? How would Fox react? Hopefully this wouldn't be too much of a roadblock in his friendship with either of them, given how he'd just walked in on them at their most...intimate, and...revealed moments. A quick glance upward showed Pika that Alkaios was simply sitting down several feet away, watching this all go on with an all-too-knowing grin. He knew what had just gone on, and Pika knew the Absol thought it was some kind of fitting karma for the story he pulled last night. Soon, Zash's bare foot poked his side, and he rolled over to look at the guy. He didn't seem to be incredibly bothered by this development as far as Pika could tell, and so he simply nodded his head and stood up, brushing himself off. As long as he was here now, he could at least help out with whatever it was Zash needed his help with. Stepping over to the truck, a fairly sobered Pika stepped over by the bed of the truck as well, reaching in and pulling out a few supplies. Another tent that needed setting up, some marshmallows, firestarting tools(which caused Pika to raise a brow at the Pyromancer as if to silently question him "Really?"), just the standard fair. "So. You and Fox. You, uh...you tapped that, huh?" He questioned quietly with a great deal of hesitance and awkwardness in his voice. Before he could get an answer from Zash, he sighed and shook his head, muttering something to himself about his luck as he turned and headed to the passenger side door. "You know what? Just...just forget that. Let's pretend it didn't happen. Need anything from here? Like in your glovebox or anything?" He asked, placing the items he'd already grabbed on the passenger seat and reaching for the glovebox. - Spoiler:
He pulled it open.
A nigh flood of objects in square wrappers came out.
Pika knew exactly what these were. He blinked, and slowly picked one up in his hands and held onto it. It was labeled "XL". As were all of the individually wrapped objects. Pika knew what they were. Zash knew what they were. Kobal, who had gone silent once more, knew what they were. He could only assume Poshie knew what they were too.
He shared a long, awkward, judgmental, silent stare with Zash. He locked eyes with him for roughly a minute, saying nothing, as his disturbed, judging face said everything that needed to be said. "...bullshit." Pika finally muttered and broke the silence, pocketing the object he was holding in his own jacket before picking up the rest and shoving them back into the glovebox as quickly as humanly possible. Closing up that can of worms, he said nothing more and grabbed the items he'd put on the passenger seat, shaking his head as he walked back over towards the campsite to set things up.

| After checking to make sure he had the main items he was looking for in his backpack he made his way to the cab reaching behind the seats to what Zash's affectionately called the troll seat where he kept a few six packs and the necessary hard liquor to get himself drunk. It was incredibly difficult to actually become intoxicated as a Pyromancer. Zash could not for the life of him explain why, but he had more than once or twice taken some drinks from his dad's wine cabinet and failed to even become tipsy before. He could only imagine that he burned it all up and out of his body quicker than it could absorb considering Zash's body temperature was always abnormally high.
He stacked a couple of the bottles and six packs into the bed for later after they had done more mischivious camping activities. He looked to Pika as he attempted to ask, with an incredible lack of tact, if he and Fox had finally taken their intimacy to the next level. " I mean you walked in on us na-" Zash was stopped cold as Pika made a move to the glove compartment and Zash in a moment remembered what his dad kept there. Even in all of his physical prowess he was unable to move fast enough to stop Pika's hand as he unhinged the glove compartment...
Zash was quickly becoming a master of shit eating grins as all he cold do was give him the same smile he had only moments ago when he walked in on him and yet another wink.
In all my centuries of wandering aimlessly on earth I have never been a part of such a massive shit show.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA" Zash bellowed out laughing he had never before heard Poshie ever drop his supremely formal and uptight tone before to hear him talk so bluntly and plainly. He followed along to Pika taking a second to compose himself he asked. " Hey are you planning to camp out with us cause I was gonna invite me and Fox's friend Wolf?" He asked.

| Fox managed to pull on her clothes without just giving up and dying right there, but she was definitely not ready to start facing anybody anytime soon. She sat in the tent for a bit instead, running back through everything that had happened briefly. She definitely didn't regret any of it (except maybe the lack of foresight regarding the open tent door), it had just... been an eventful way to start things off. She sighed and grabbed her phone, dismissing the notification about the pesky missed called. "You don't say, I wonder why that was," she observed sarcastically inside her own head.
She started to flip through the sparse social media that she had, trying to take the edge off before rejoining Zash and Pika outside. She noticed a number of updates on the profile of a certain person she had met some time before, the flawless and amazing Kyle. While she didn't have his number per say, the two actually kept up some contact (typically in the form of memes and bullshit) via this more niche area of social media. She checked his feed, finding a number of pms containing pictures of his Flygon with it's head pitifully trapped in a bag of chips, followed by such amazing quips as "Arms too short, head too far," and "when you've blazed your limit." She couldn't help but let out a loud snort of laughter before typing up a string of replies.
"Kek. Maybe you should try that look, people might be able to stand near you without fainting from exposure to your greatness." "Your buddy really knows how to tolerate the grass." ".....Are dragons even allowed to eat that kind of stuff?"
She chuckled and put the phone away. He'd get back to her later, she was sure. Come to think of it, she didn't think Zash had ever met Kyle. It was definitely inevitable now. She briefly wondered if her relationship with Zash meant that her other relationships had to change.... but quickly dismissed the thought on the grounds that she wasn't romantically interested or involved with anyone else anyways so it really didn't matter. She made a mental note to still ask about if it bothered him later.
Now that she had calmed down, she grabbed a toothbrush out of her own bag and headed out of the tent to regroup with her fellow losers. Upon exiting the tent, she was hit with a burst of laughter from Zash, followed by something else he said that she was a little too far away to catch. She walked over and hopped up onto one of the tires, leaning on the edge of the truck bed for support.
"What's goin on in the part of two over here?" she asked, her normal demeanor mostly preserved.

| Thankfully, a ray of warm, glimmering had figuratively shined down on the scene. Hope. Whatever gods were out there had finally decided "Yes Pika, you've had enough for today". Fox hadn't come out before Pika had finished putting all the wrapped objects away in the glovebox. The end of this horrendous nightmare of misfortune was in sight, so as long as nothing went wrong, this day could only get better from here.
...right?
"...camping?" Pika raised a brow as he sat down by the campsite, looking up to Zash and raising a brow. He then glanced around the area, and quickly put two and two together. There was a tent. He was sitting at a campsite. Of course they were camping, Pika, you dolt.
"Ah. Yeah. Right. That's what you're doing out here." He remarked shortly after, sighing and looking over to Fox now, switching his gaze between her and Zash as required. "Oh, not much. Me and Zash here just shared an absolute joke of a moment. A really fictional and exaggerated joke. It was hilarious." He spoke, with a voice and face of a man who had copious amounts of double meanings in his speech, before continuing onward.
"Then Zash asked if I wanted to join you guys in camping. I mean, I'd be down for it, I just think there's someone I should call first. I was heading out here to meet someone in the first place when I ran into you two, so I should probably tell her I'm not going to be able to make it and ask if we can reschedule. But as long as I get that taken care of, I can camp. I've got the supplies for it, and I'd be interested to meet this Wolf guy." Pika finally finished, leaning onto his back and laying down on the ground, staring up at the sky as he thought for a moment.
As he finished, the Absol waiting a short distance away seemed to recognize that it was safe to come over, and he wouldn't be persuaded by Pika to put on any cutesy looks with the current crowd. In addition to that, Fox had come out of the tent, which made roughly one person there he wanted to see at the moment. Running over towards the group, he slowed his pace as he approached and stepped up over by Fox, looking up at her and nodding his head to greet her before sitting down beside her, glancing around at the three humans there curiously.
