» Likes: Zazu enjoys running around in vast open fields feeling the breeze against his wings imagining he was flying. Red juicy apples are his favorite snack he can barely control him self around them. Sometimes he'll sing a silly tune when he's feeling good. Being a hero is his dream by treating others the way he'd like to be and assist any one in need, though sometimes he ends up making the situation worse.

» Dislikes: He's not too fond of cold weather actively avoiding it whenever possible. Bad guys and mean pokemon picking on others get him boiling mad. Being in enclosed,or cramped up rooms is very uncomfortable sense he is claustrophobic. Another fear of his is heights, which is very problematic because in order to fly you need to get high.

» Personality: Zazu has a very talkative and loud personality but can become suddenly timid and shy from Defeatist. He is known for rambling on for hours about nonsense with periodic screeches of "ARRC" in between. This scatter brained bird is easily distracted by small things which often leads him astray making him forget what he was doing a few moments ago. Not being the brightest guy on the block he can be easily fooled into believing false things. If he ever runs into a "bad guy" his sense of justice will kick in and he will give them a good pecking! Sometimes he go's overboard, not knowing his own strength, and usually causes chaos where ever he goes.

» History:This story begins on an island that has existed for many centuries, providing an enclosed and stable environment for species of the prehistoric age. Zazu lived here with his family of archeops. They would always tease him for not being able to fly. Though he never let this put his mood down and instead spent his time running everywhere becoming so good at sprinting that he didn't have to learn how to fly to survive. And it was a good thing too, for on this island were many predators lurking around and it was every pokemon for themselves.

One day this monstrous tyrantrum attacked his flock in an angry rampage. Every one fled for their lives, but not Zazu. He was tired of running away all the time and decided to fight this mighty foe; jumping at it giving it a peck in the eye. This only irritated Tyrantrum as it knocked Zazu away. It then charged straight for him with razor sharp teeth, Zazu thought he was done for, but then another large pokemon came on to the scene. Before Zazu could be chomped on, A Rampardos had stricken the tyrantrum with such a powerful headbutt that it was knocked out instantly. Zazu was in awe at the sight, it wasn't normal here to see a pokemon to risk its life for another. The Rampardos looked down at the small bird and with a smirk said, "You got guts kid, but let the professionals handle the bad guys." Afterwards the Rampardos left without another word, but Zazu would never forget what happen that day and would always try to be just like that heroic Rampardos!

Unfortunately for this young bird, the world he knew was coming to an end. It was so sudden, it was almost like a nightmare. The last thing he remembers was the earth shaking wildly as the once dormant volcano was erupting violently. Fissures split the island into pieces as chunks of land sank to the ocean floor. Zazu was left drifting out into the ocean on a log unconscious. He wash up ashore on a beach, where new adventures wait.
