Making an rp thread.

My app was accepted so before I make an rp thread I have decided to lurk moar. The question is, what's a good way to start in general?

Hm..Chatbox used to be a place to make RPs but everyone's been a bit busy there lately. Your best bet would be to wait for an open thread or make one on your own and wait for someone to come bite. There's also Character Discussion as well if you'd rather have a more planned rp while the Open threads are, well open for anything really. You could also personally PM someone to ask for an RP, but some people are a bit loaded on roleplays or still going through school or finals, so patience might be needed.
