» Why do you want to adopt them?:
Tom is a dynamic, multidimensional character that I believe should not be left to procure dust in the Archived Section. His likes, dislikes, and personality all add up to a Totodile that would be fun to RP and interesting to flesh out further. Though I do not know where RPing him will go, I feel highly confident that I can do him justice and bring him back into full action in this RP.
» Sample of roleplay:
A soft breeze lapped gingerly on the top of a nearby lake. The trees that sprawled out along the shoreline swayed rhythmically as the gale shifted their droops limbs and leaves, their branches shuddering from the chill nip and sighing in refreshment. A soft buzzing noise from a mixture Yamna and Yanmega wings filled the air as they flew about hurriedly, their wings allowing them to skirt just above the water and rest upon the crystal-like surface. Though the sun had arduously fought with the clouds for control over the sky that day, its valiant effort had eventually petered out. It sullenly slunk behind a thick layer of clouds, allowing the planet to darken. It was not an entirely idyllic day since the sun was unable to fully emerge from behind the cloud bank, but was satisfactory enough for a stroll.
Tom walked by the lake's surface in a rather casual fashion; his gait, neither too slow nor too fast, carried him in a smooth and fluid manner. His round snout was directed towards the overcast heavens, his arms were folded across the back of his large, mandible-focused skull, and his eyes were sealed shut: he was the very incarnation of Lyaeus. With nary a care or worry, there was little for the Totodile to ponder except for the whereabouts of his dearly missed friend, Cynthia.
Cynthia...
The name lingered upon his thoughts and lips as the clouds thickened up above. His feet stalled and eventually came to a full stop, which caused the rest of Tom's body to lurch into an awkward standstill. His stubby arms collapsed back to their original positions at his sides, and his eyes slowly slid open as the memories came to him. Though he maintained a stoic gaze towards the outer atmosphere, his dilated pupils did not focus upon anything in particular; the snail-paced, bumpy cloud blanket that moved across the sky did not have anything in particular to focus upon. As the crocodile stared towards nothingness, emotions swelled within his gut.
Oddly enough, however, was the fact that sadness was not among them. Determination, desperation, and motivation were the main sensations he experienced, and they swirled into a concoction that caused his fists to curl and his jaw to clench. He would find Cynthia and bring her back to her original self, whether that be achievable through peace or violence, and they would return to their little shop and sell TMs. That was how it was supposed to be, and Tom wouldn't stop until his dream had come to fruition.
