The Princess in the Woods

Enzu walked through the woods and looked at his surroundings in Shadowhue Forest. There was a light wind that was whistling through the trees and rustling the leaves that hung above Enzu's head. There was not much light in the forest, but there was enough for Enzu to be able to see his surroundings and move through the forest with little difficulty. The grass underneath Enzu's feet was tall and soft, as it bent easily when Enzu would step on.

As Enzu walked he found the tree with knot that he had told Victoria to meet him at. Upon reaching the tree, Enzu turned so that he could lean back on the tree while he waited. He wasn't exactly sure why he had agreed to have Victoria come along with him to Monochrome falls. But none the less he had agreed to it and he never went back on his word; so here he was, waiting for her 'highness' to arrive for their journey deep into Shadowhue Forest.

"Aura? Isn't that the thing Lucario sense? There was a lucario adviser in my kingdom, but he fell ill to a strange illness and passed on," the tyrunt spoke with a rather blunt tone, as if death was an everyday thing, which was the truth in her kingdom with the way her father ruled. Some pokemon were not happy with their rulers, and some were. The ones who hated the ruler often rebelled violently instead of protesting peacefully. Victoria had begun to follow the pawniard, and came to a stop near a rather small stream. It seemed to be flowing in the opposite direction they were going, but it was a stream none the less.

Since they reached a small stream, Enzu walked in so that he could wash the Poison Powder off of himself, "Yes it is," Enzu said, "However most pokemon have an unconscious sense of it, usually it allows them to differentiate between somebody who is dangerous or somebody that is of no danger." As Enzu washed himself off, he was too busy to notice that there an blue flower nearby that looked similar to the red flower the Flabebe had before.

The tyrunt had been a bit confused by the explanation, wasn't that feeling obtained from body language and the looks of the eyes? She decided it would be best to not question it, and instead question a strange looking flower not far off.
"Hey isn't that the thing we beat up earlier except blue now?"
The tyrunt had forgotten the name of a Flabebe as she had let her guard down and had begun to relax more.
The flabebe seemed to be eyeing them strangely, but otherwise making no moves from its spot in the grass.

Enzu turned to look at the Flabebe that Victoria pointed out. It was definitely the same kind of pokemon, but since it's flower was blue and it wasn't attacking him or Victoria. "Well it's definitely the same kind of pokemon," he said, "But I doubt its the exact same one." Enzu then spoke to the the Flabebe, "Hello there little one," he said, "Is there anything you need help with?"

The flabebe merely stared with a doubtful expression, as if not thinking the Pawniard's kindness was not as genuine as it seemed. The flabebe seemed to hide behind the pistil of its flower, as if the pawniard would lose sight of it and move on as if it had never seen anything.
Victoria shrugged, thinking it was time to move on now that the Flabebe had been identified as not a threat. She looked up the river, not thinking that perhaps this flabebe had a problem that needed attending to, and that she and the pawniard might be able to help it. The tyrunt would have been willing to help, but she was a bit too dim at this time to think of such a possibility.

Enzu saw as the Flabebe hid behind its flower in an attempt to be hidden and he took it as a sign that it was too nervous to speak or interact with him and Victoria. Enzu then stood up and looked up stream, in the direction that would obviously lead the two travelers towards the water fall that they were searching for. Enzu then turned his attention back towards the Flabebe, "Well if you don't mind then the two of us will be leaving then." he said. Enzu then turned to Victoria, "If we follow the river up stream then we should make it to the Waterfall without getting lost." he said.

Victoria dismissed the nervous flabebe as nothing, "Can't be too hard," she spoke, looking at the stream that trickled along quickly, but quieter than usual. The tyrunt tilted her head as she examined the stream while waiting for the pawniard. Her reflection seemed a bit messy and distorted while her amulet shined as much as it did in reality. She wondered why the gem was so important to her family aside from value in the form of poke. Surely there had to be a reason for it to be passed down so much, maybe one of her ancestors went through a bloody battle to get it out of greed, or an ancestor found it after a long and harsh journey. Sadly, this little tyrunt would only have her fantasies to aid her, as she would probably never learn the history of the amulet.

"I doubt it will be," Enzu said as he began to walk out of the stream. Now that he had washed off most of the poison powder, he shouldn't be any immediate danger to Victoria. "The stream obviously is coming from the waterfall, so it we follow it then it should lead us straight to it's source." Enzu looked ahead in the direction that would lead them to Monochrome Falls. He was looking forward to meditating at the waterfall once again.

"So...that char-whatever.." the tyrunt finally spoke, wishing to do something to pass the time and her extreme boredom, "The Pokemon named Ares, he was really strong wasn't he?"
The tyrunt had picked a topic she knew they both knew, so that they would have something to discuss. The silence was drawing out the journey and making her bored, she almost wished a pokemon would come and attack them just so they could have a bit of action and more adventure. She did not speak this aloud though, nor did she actually wish for a pokemon to come and attack. It was more of a desire for something to be heard and seen other than trees and the sound of their footsteps.

"Who? Ares? Yes he was strong," Enzu said, he truly did have to admit that Ares was a well tested warrior, Enzu had considered returning to the mountains and having a sparring match with Ares, hopefully it wouldn't rain so that the two of them could have a fair fight. As they were walking, Enzu looked down and saw what seemed to be a box sitting in the stream.

Enzu bent down to try and grab the box, and as he did a Venemoth went flying above his head. It was flying as quickly as it could because it being followed by what seemed to be a red orb of some sorts. Enzu wasn't able to grab the box before he looked up and saw the Venemoth try to evade the red orb.

The moth pokemon's wings flapped furiously as it evaded the orb, behind it a strange flower seemed to glare at the Venomoth. The Flabebe looked to the venomoth, before noticing the two explorers from earlier. It gave a growl, and made a dance on its flower before pointing to the sky, the sunlight suddenly piercing down on the group and making the temperature rise.
Victoria blinked at the sudden venomoth, and then noticed the flabebe, she gave a growl as the Flabebe used Sunny Day. NOW she understood, the Venomoth was just being attacked, it must have attacked them in a fit of fear thinking they were the flabebe for some reason! That had to be the answer! She felt a strange power rise in her stomach as the flabebe prepared another blast of sunlight that would surely harm the tyrunt massively once more, and unleashed a deafening roar that interrupted the Flabebe's attack.

Enzu recognized the red orb that was chasing the Venemoth as the orbs that the Flabebe from before used to attack. As Enzu made the connection to the Flabebe, the amount of light in the surrounding area began to increase. Enzu turned around and saw the Flabebe begin to charge up a Solarbeam attack, however Victoria's roar caused the small flower pokemon to stop. Enzu then began to charge up a Psycho Cut while he shouted out to the Flabebe, "You sure are a violent one aren't you?" Enzu then turned to Victoria and asked, "So how do you want to handle this?" he asked.

"Isn't it obvious? Trash the Flabebe!" she growled before charging forward, her breath growing colder as she prepared an Ice Fang specially made for the Flabebe. The flower could do nothing as it was grabbed by the stem once more and shaken about before being thrown. It gave a glare once it recovered itself in the air, before looking to the pawniard and unleashing the red orbs with its Hidden Power in attempt to take down the stronger one or make the tyrunt infuriated for targeting her friend, causing massive damage due to the fire type attack powered up by the sunlight of sunny day.

Enzu saw the red orbs begin to fly towards him. Enzu then jumped away from the orbs and launched his Psycho Cut's at them. The two psychic blades collided with one orb each, causing them explode in small bursts of red light. However there were still a few orbs chasing after Enzu so had to remain moving to avoid them.

All of the sudden there was a gust of wind that seemed to blow the red orbs away from Enzu, causing them to collide with the river and explode into puffs of red light and steam. Enzu looked over in the direction that the wind had came from and saw the Venemoth. It had used it's Silver Wind to blow the orbs away. When Enzu looked at the Venemoth he saw that one of it's wings looked partially burned, indicating that the Venemoth had not been able to escape the orb that was chasing it.

Enzu then nodded to the Venemoth and said, "Thank you," as he began to charge up another pair of Psycho Cut's.

The Flabebe decided to use the time the pawniard was using charging the psychotic slices to unleash its powerful beam onto the unsuspecting tyrunt, who seemed to have been unable to reach the flabebe due to it "flying" or rather, floating a bit higher than she could reach. The Flabebe gathered sunlight into the form of an orb on the tip of its flower's pistils, and blasted the beam in the direction of the tyrunt. Victoria cried out in fear as the blast of sunlight charged towards her and blasted her head on. The ray of sunlight slowly began to move off of her and began to pick up speed as the Flabebe aimed for the Pawniard and revealed an unconscious Victoria.
