The First Adventure Far From Grassveil! Why the Hell is Akuroma Going to Black Mist Mountain!?

Akuroma was beginning yet another excursion into Shadowhue Forest. His bag carried the items he's gathered over his adventures along with scrolls of paper to draw maps and make notes on anything interesting he saw. However, they were the same papers he took the last few times. Nothing was changing in Shadowhue, at least nothing noteworthy for Akuroma.
'There's nothing mysterious about Shadowhue Forest anymore... and the guild still won't allow me to travel any farther without an escort, which I'd have to pay for...' the Ralts silently complained. As he continued walking he spied Enzu closing up the dojo, a rather large travel bag strapped to his back.
"Enzu! Where are you going?" Akuroma said as he walked up to the Pawniard. He hadn't seen Enzu since he trained here once with Keyami, and that was before he got the three scars across his cheek.

Akuroma looked out towards the sunset as well, "I'm not one for views, they distract you from looking forward," the Ralts said. For a moment he was silent, watching the sun disappear beneath the horizon.
"You want to take first watch or should I?" he asked, knowing that just because he made a lift didn't mean Pokemon couldn't jump up on it.

Enzu thought for a second, "How about I take the first watch," Enzu said. "That way I can still keep an eye out while there is at least a little bit of sun light left to use." Enzu looked out towards the sun as it continued it's slow descent behind the mountains. "Once it gets too dark for me to see and I don't hear anything I will wake you and that way you can sense for any pokemon that are moving in the darkness," Enzu said.

"Alright, see you when you wake me up," Akuroma said as he laid down and closed his eyes. He turned over after a minute now facing the rock wall.

"Ugh...never slept in a dungeon before. Well, Enzu's been away for a year, he probably knows how to do this..." his thoughts trailed off as he actually went to sleep.

Enzu continued to look off into the sunset as Akuroma went to sleep. Even though Enzu was still staying alert, his thoughts began to trail off a bit, "It's been awhile since I had to sleep on a mountain..." he thought, "And its been even longer since I had somebody to take turns keeping watch with... I bet Akuroma would enjoy hearing the stories of my travels, but he would probably be disappointed that I don't remember any of the names of the places..." Enzus thoughts began to trail on in this way for quite awhile.

After a couple hours after the sun had set all of the light that remained was almost nonexistent, Enzu then reached over and lightly nudged Akuroma, "Hey Akuroma," he whispered, "It's your turn to take watch."

Akuroma groaned a bit groggily and stood up, "O-ok, I'm up," he said despite yawning while he stretched. He looked around, "Wow, and I thought the mist was dark during the day," he though to himself as he looked around to see if he could see anything. However, the sky was cloudy and the moon's light was unable to get through. Akuroma stood there silently for a minute, his horn twitching as he searched for any Pokemon.
"Doesn't look like any Pokemon's nearby," he said as he sat down, "I'll see ya when you get up."

Enzu slowly opened his eyes as the sun light began to shine on Enzu and Akuroma's edge. Enzu slowly sat up as he he was coming to his senses, "Morning Akuroma," he said, "Anything happen over the night?" he asked.

Akuroma pointed at the unconscious body of a level 64 hydreigon shook his head, "No, I sensed a few Pokemon draw near, but they didn't attack or anything," he said, standing up and stretching. He then looked around a bit and frowned.

"So which way should we go? I'm not exactly good at climbing," he said, taking a look up the rock wall before them. He tapped the rock wall, as if a cave or staircase would magically appear.

Enzu stood up to stretch now that he was slowly waking up. "I'm not exactly sure," he said, "But in my experience with mountain climbing, the best way to go is up, what ever way possible." Enzu then looked towards the sun, "We might as well keep on walking in the direction we were yesterday, we can probably get a lot farther since we will have more of the day to search." he said.

Akuroma nodded a bit, creating the clearing in the dark mist before jumping down into it, "Let's get going then," he said, waiting for Enzu to join him on the ground below.

"Say, Enzu, why'd you leave for a whole year?" the Ralts asked. Though he actually didn't realize that Enzu had left, since he hadn't attempted to go back to the dojo after that painful experience with Keyami, Akuroma was curious nonetheless as to why the Pawniard would leave his business unattended.

Enzu followed Akuroma down onto the ground with a simple jump. Once he stood back up he said, "Well there was a lot of reasons," he said, "I wanted to experience different places and see what there was to learn out in the world." Enzu then began to walk further up the mountain as he continued to talk, "Another reason was that I needed to... how do I say... 'rediscover myself' in a way. After my father passed so soon I was instantly thrown into running the dojo and I wasn't so sure if I was right for the position. So i decided to travel as means to figure out who I really was." he said.

Akuroma nodded, "Oh, I see. So, who do you think you are?" he asked, looking over at the Pawniard. Enzu's response only made him more curious, if Akuroma didn't keep his mouth shut, he might've asked the Pawniard a hundred questions before a hundred seconds passed. As he waited for Enzu's response, he realized the Pawniard hadn't asked about his scars. It was a bit surprising, everybody he's met since he got those scars had always asked why he got them or at least stared at them for a bit, but the Pawniard did nothing. Akuroma almost thought Enzu hadn't noticed them, but that couldn't be right, as the Pawniard had several occasions to see them.

As they were walking Enzu looked slightly up as he thought, "I'm still not completely sure yet..." he said, "But one thing that I learned while traveling is that we can never be completely sure about who we are." As they continued walking Enzu noticed something out of the corner of his eyes, "One thing that I did learn though is that I am a naturally curious pokemon..." Enzu's words trailed off as he went over to investigate what he saw.

Akuroma rolled his eyes, though he too noticed something out of the corner of his eye. Something was sticking just slightly into the clearing. At first he thought it was a Pokemon, but upon closer inspection he saw it wasn't. Using Confusion he brought the item to his hands.

"You and me both," Akuroma said, turning around and holding up the item he found to Enzu.

As Enzu was picking up the item he found he turned to see Akuroma holding an item as well. He held the item in between his blades and walked over, "Well I found some sort of Orb," he said, "What did you find?" Enzu was mostly interested in what kind of orb he was holding in his hands. Since most orbs look the same it was hard to tell the difference between them.

Akuroma looked at the orb, "Looks like a Spurn Orb, if we're surrounded by enemies, you can use it to teleport them to random places in the dungeon. I myself found a Max Elixir," he said. He placed the bottle into his bag and continued walking in the direction they decided to head towards. Akuroma was sure the Spurn orbs appeared in response to the large amounts of Pokemon who attack in groups, it couldn't have been a simple coincidence.
