Hmmmm. hm. humm. Sorren was standing in the entrance hall of the guild. he was debating what to do. There weren't that many good jobs to be taken right now, and The dojo was closed today for some reason.

Sorren was pacing back and forth, not really looking at anything other then the floor. He didn't want to spend his day being lazy, but he didn't seem to think of much to do. Sorren really hated when that happened. He sighed, if he had arms he might pick up a book or something, but he didn't want to get distracted from his goal of getting stronger.

"Alright then, If that's the case we still need to know how we work together. Besides, hasn't anyone ever told you there are some things you can't learn in books?" Sorren asked.

He still wasn't going to accept a new member onto his team just like that. He needed to know how they worked together before he could make that decision. It seemed that Chia Had gotten annoyed at sorren, At what he didn't know. In any case, He decided not to push the issue and just accept some of what the Duskull had to say at face value.

Finally the Torchic was making some sense again. A bit at least.
"Very well, so have you set your eye on a specific mission already? I'd be open for pretty much anything. Oh, and by the way, yes, they have and no, I do not believe for that statement to be correct. There are books on every possible subject if one is to look hard enough."
In her quite long life, the Duskull had been spending quite a bit of her time reading quite a few books on quite a few subjects. There wasn't much, that she hadn't read yet, and thus she was convinced, that there would be nothing, that had not yet been brought to paper or a comparable medium.
Thus she was interested in getting to see, whether Sorren could find something, that had not.

"No, I don't have a specific mission in mind. Why don't we meet up say, thursday at noon, I will have picked a mission by then" Sorren said.

He had an appointment at the dojo tomorrow, and today was no good, it was too late in the afternoon for where he was planning on taking them. Sorren also had a speech he was working on for when new member entered into his team. wanted to get that polished off as well. There was a cracking sound and he turned to were he had broken a bit of the wall. And patch up the wall. adding that to the to do list.

"Sounds manageable. Shall the location be the same place we met? Or is there somewhere else you would prefer to go?"
Finally now they had come to an agreement and Sorren had stopped pestering her that much.
When they would be on the mission, she would finally be able to show him, that practical experience would not be required for an excellent performance.
She would show him.
Maybe then the Torchic would also discover the magic of friendship reading.

"Right, we meet in front of the guild, as soon as you get here we leave." Sorren said.

Sorren was sure he could show this pokemon some things that she wasn't prepaired for. He would break her, and if she could piece herself back together Then she could join his team. Only when he knew for sure that she could handle it.
