Silk had been wandering the Guild for a good hour. At least, she thought it was an hour. She had arrived in Grassveil just recently, and was intent on joining the Guild and starting her own exploration team. Sad to say, her goals seemed to have been set aside in favor of touring around the building and talking to idling exploration teams. Although it was time consuming and rather pointless, the buneary had been able to get a bit of information and insight on what was to be expected once she joined the organization. Luckily, they didn't go by anything too strict. Just sign up at the Guildmaster's Quarters, get your starter stuff, then go about business by choosing missions from the nearby Bulletin Board. Not only were you supposed to receive Starter items, but your team would also be able to stay in their own designated rooms.
With a few more hops, the young female found herself in front of what was supposed to be the door leading to the Guildmaster's office, the place where she had been guided to for her registering. It wasn't too flashy, just a normal door. But even so, the Buneary felt so excited as if she were already in the presence of the well-known Faye. Raising a paw, she prepared to knock. Her fist stopped just inches away from the wood, realization dawning upon her.
'Wait... I don't have any team members!' She looked around, slightly frantic. Going solo was alright, she didn't have any doubts on exploring on her own. But having team members to back you up and enjoy the adventures with seemed much more charming than having to brave missions alone. Her ears stuck up high, twitching as she faced this way and that, searching as if someone available would just pop out of nowhere.
"Aw... Oh well, going alone isn't that bad." She said, sighing for a brief moment. She turned her attention back to the door, slightly reluctant. Maybe she could still head out and look for a partner. It didn't seem like anyone was teamless when she went around earlier, though. She could probably be able to recruit more members anyways. Taking a deep breath, the rabbit raised her paw once more, knocking on the wooden door and preparing to face the Guildmaster.

| Such nice names! "Nice to meet you too, George and Skylar!" The buneary said, before turning her attention to the Guildmaster. She listened, though blocked out some things due to sheer excitement. She was just so pumped to go and start exploring! She and her two new teammates could go to all sorts of places now that they were a team. They could explore the scary Shadowhue Forest, or maybe save a baby Pichu from a band of outlaws. They would become stronger, well-known, and maybe become the best team in the guild! The thought of such an achievement made the rabbit feel glad to have chosen this path, and even more glad that she had gotten such good teammates to accompany her through it. Was she the luckiest pokemon in the world? She downright knew so.
After listening to the Meganium's words, Silk felt a tad conflicted. Right, they needed a team name to go by. She looked over to the Eevee and the Buizel, seeing them not too responsive. They were probably still thinking of what to recommend. She had to think too! They needed the perfect name. Nothing too common like Team Pokepals - that name was far too dull! And nothing silly like Team Puffbutts; the name made her giggle, just barely containing her laughter. Hopefully nothing too try-hard as well, like Team Totallyflippin'awesomesauce - even though it was the utter truth that described their team. They were going to be Guildmembers. Pokemon of justice and wonder. Pokemon who would help the needy and fight to uncover the truth. Pokemon with so much bravery and gut that they could take on anything in their path. Yes, there was only one name that could fit their team.
"TEAM HEROES!" The rabbit blurted out. "It's perfect team name! What do you two think?" She asked, grinning from ear to ear as she looked over to her two teammates. She waited for their reactions, eager to know if they would approve of her suggestion or not. Hopefully they would, they'd sound so cool with such a name! Or at least, the Buneary thought so.

| George also wondered what the team name should be. He was thinking in his mind until Silk said Team Heroes. He didn't find it too terrible of a name. But he's surprised nobody took it yet. "That's not a bad name, I like it. Team Heroes..." Of course it sounded a bit like they thought highly of themselves, but people will think what they do. 'The Only Thing Worse Than People Talking About You, Is People Not Talking About You.' was a quote he remembered someone told him. He then waited for Skylar's thoughts on the team name. If it was good with her, it seems that would be the name. |

| And it was time for the team name, which would probably be the worst part of the Eevee's day. Her mind was drawing blanks, until Silk blurted her idea out. She had decided on "Team Heroes". And although George didn't seem to have complaints, Skylar was kind of iffy about it. Heroes was such a common and simple word, but then again, with three very different species teaming up, it would be hard to find something thay would fit all of them. The only think Skylar could think of for them was "Team Mammals" but who would want to be known as that? She knew she wouldn't.
Skylar signed and gave up her synonym search. Even if she objected, the Eevee was outnumbered and outvoted. She didn't want to bring her future teammates down. Team Heroes wasn't that bad of a name, even if it was a bit generic. "Yeah, okay. Team Heroes sounds about right," Skylar agreed with a nod. Now that that was over, it was all downhill from here.

| "A wonderful name indeed. It suits you three.", Faye smiled while writing the team name on top of the page of the team records. As she finished, her smile grew even wider as she couldn't wait to see the trio's reactions to the news they were about to recieve. "Congratulations, dearies! You are now officially members of this guild!" Using her vines to take one of the many bags, that were hanging on a wall off of its hook, she then placed it in front of the guild's newest members before beginning to explain: "This is your Treasure Bag. It's a great help in carrying items and will certainly be useful for you. Inside it you will find your Explorer Badges, a Wonder Map and a little surprise. So, do you want to look inside now, or should we get right to assigning a room to the three of you?" | |
