[Artist's Corner] Pokémon of the Week (5th - 11th August 2013)

Hello there and welcome to the Artist's Corner and the Pokémon of the Week contest!

As you probably know before clicking this thread, the Pokémon of the Week contest is an art competition where each week a specific Pokémon is selected. Artists are challenged to draw the selected Pokémon in whichever method they prefer, traditionally or digitally, for a 300 poké prize!

This Week's Judges Are;

MexterInfinite*, who prefers to keep his preferences secret.
Xeryd*, who prefers a picture to be neat and cute.
Sakura, who likes pictures to be cute.
Savato, who does not have any specific preferences.
JeffMandM, who looks for consistent shading, decent perspective sizing (as in where you size something far away to be really small) and good use of space.

Please remember to PM all entries to me. Entries will be edited into this second post of this thread in groups every two days. Feel free to discuss the current entries but note that they may be subject to change depending on whether the artist feels the need to change something about their drawing, or withdraw from the contest altogether.

This week's participation prize is a Stun Seed and will be received after this weeks judging has been completed.

This is a Bulbasaur doodle I did a while ago. Seeing as I can't enter this week's contest I figured i'd post it. I might end up colouring it digitally and posting that too. x3

Well we do have one person, Serene, unable to attend this week, and five judges too, two of which were in last weeks competition...So if everyone still attended that was in last week. It'd be 8 entries. Some users haven't appeared this week that were in last week

Well, you gotta admit, a Stun seed isn't really worth getting prevented from entering the next contest.

Since when are you prevented from entering the next contest? You can enter every contest unless you won the previous one. And if you win you get a poke reward not just a stun seed. The stun seed is just so everyone has a little something for participating.

Well I will admit, I'm not in the mood to independently type all my opinions on all the entries this time. I will admit my two main choices were between Entry #6 and Entry#5 Due to the fact entry #5 makes good use of colors and style but Entry #6 makes Amazing use of drawing skill to make it look pretty nice.
