| The infamous sleeping riolu struck yet again this time he had decided to just up and sleep on the side of the road after his encounter with a Gligar that left him in a pile of glass shards all because he slept atop a building. Shaman was attempting to sleep in not so dangerous places excluding trees of course those were just far too comfortable. | |

| Tom was taking a walk around town to get his mind off things. Like Krystal's death... and the letter. 6 weeks... He had to become strong before then... Deep in thought, he walked, unaware of his surroundings. Well, he was unaware until something familiar caught his eye. A Riolu.
Her stomach had been ripped open, and her colon was coming out.... Her head rolled to his feet as her decapitated body fell to the floor... There was blood seeping everywhere...
"Krystal..." Tom looked at the Riolu, in a trance-like state, before snapping out of it. "No... I haven't lost it yet... Shaman isn't Krystal, he isn't yellow..." He focused his attention on the Riolu again; he was simply lying down on the sidewalk, trying to get some sleep. He still seemed to be awake, though... And as much as he knew he shouldn't, Tom couldn't help but ask him one thing. Tom sat down next to the Riolu. "Hey, Shaman, do you know about a yellow Riolu called Krystal?" |

| " What?" Shaman asked lifting his head up. He blinked from his attempted sleep he'd already entered into a groggy state by the time Tom had talked to him. Shaman realized this was a first he'd never been talked to without being woken up before at lead not that he could recall. He blinked again and realized he hadn't answered Tom's question. " nah, I haven't met a single other Riolu in the entirety of my life." He informed Tom. Shaman was never one to want to prolong a conversation but curiosity got the better of him. " Who's Krystal anyways?" | |

| "Someone I couldn't save." Tom stared into the distance. "Someone I watched die..." He sighed. "I'm so weak, you know? I couldn't do anything to help her..." He looked at the Riolu with sad eyes; eyes that had lost the spark they once had. "Those guys that did that... They're after me now." He took the letter from his pouch. It was in unown script, so he wasn't sure if Shaman would be able to read it. "Six weeks... If I don't come to them in the next six weeks, they'll come after me... I'm scared." |

| Shaman of all the things people would do in this situation, comfort Tom for example would have been a smart decision but Shaman no Shaman did something unexpected he laughed, and laughed. After having his good chuckled he stood up. " Your so stupid dude." He said not insulting to Tom just kind of teasingly. " Look at you your in shambles." He commented. | |

| Surprisingly, this cheered him up more than he expected. Certainly it cheered him up more than someone comforting him would have. Just seeing Shaman so... normal. He couldn't understand what Tom was going through, and he was glad about that. "Yep; I'm a complete mess. I intend to change that, though." He looked up, onto the the guild building; it was still closed temporarily (He couldn't remember why for the life of him), but he knew that when it opened, that was where he would go. "I'm planning to join the guild when it opens up again. Y'know, train, learn to defend myself." He grinned at Shaman, the flame in his eyes reignited, if only a bit. "You wanna join me?" |

| Shaman was completely shocked at Tom's reaction to Shaman laughing at his life or death problem here. In all honesty Shaman had been expecting Tom to punch him in the face or something of that nature. Shaman certainly hadn't expected an invitation to join Tom in the guild. Why does everyone suddenly want to be in the guild? Shaman thought to himself this was the second offer he had gotten. Too bad this one I may have considered without the blackmail. he thought to himself with a tiny grin. He sat up and crossed his legs. He quickly shook the thought, no I would have said no. He assured himself fiercely. " I'm already a part of the guild, I've neglected myself the pleasure of ever joining a team though." He replied. " But I guess the fact we're both part of the guild should be enough, you know I don't like the idea of team work and teams, but the guild in a whole is something I can get behind." | |

| "I suppose." He sat in silence, listening to the chatters of Grassveil's inhabitants. "What's it like? In the guild, I mean. I've never been in the building before, and I don't really know anyone who is in the guild, excluding you. Do you guys adventure often?" |

| Shaman made a face of annoyance. " apparently I'm too young to be allowed to just go out and explore plus I need a team so I normally just do solo things without the guild being involved, but I do enjoy listening to the members that are allowed to. " Shaman looked at the guild and for the first time that anyone had ever seen, he actually looked at it fondly. " It's great the kind of things that they share." He couldn't put it in any other words. | |

| Tom raised an eyebrow; too young? He didn't ask the question out loud, of course; asking someone his or her age is just... kind of weird. Still, he was pretty curious about it. "The kind of things they share... So you can't go on any authorized adventures? That sucks." He yawned. "Thanks for talking with me. I haven't really had much to keep my mind off things..." |

| "we're not done yet!" Shaman commented and a glint entered his eyes. " You've been involved in two of my games now but I've never asked you directly, Tom do you like...." Shaman paused for dramatic effect."games?" | |

| Tom grinned at his friend (at least, that was how he perceived him). "Hell, yes I like games!" He jumped to his feet, baring a huge smile, his large teeth clearly visible. He had good memories of the past games; the first game he had participated in was with Keyami. He fondly remembered the "Kick Me" he wrote on the Riolu's back. He still had no idea how he could write that down when he couldn't even trace Keyami. The second game, the one in the library, was also fun, but the after effects... weren't. He shivered at the memory of being literally kicked out by the librarian. Still, the game itself was pretty fun, and the hints had gotten him thinking. "So, what're we playing this time?" |

| Shaman reached into a rather large pocket in his cape and removed a deck of playing card. " no not that." He said absent mindedly as he place it off to the side and pulled out random puzzle pieces. " DUDE I'm been looking for this piece forever!" He shouted in pleasant surprise as he slipped that into a second smaller pocket in his cloak. He then removed two dice from his pocket. 'Ah here we go!" Shaman cried triumphantly. " Okay first off have you ever played craps or black jack before?" Shaman asked Tom. | |

| Tom chuckled as Shaman removed random items from games from his cloak. "How many games do you have, anyway?" Finally, Shaman removed two dice from his cloak and asked his question. "I've played blackjack before. How do we play blackjack with dice, though?" Tom looked at the two dice, confused. |

| " I've got around three hundred forty two games or game pieces in here." He replied sounding dissappointed like he had no where near as much as he'd like. " And you play the game like this, firstly you roll the dice like normal off a wall." Shaman did so on the wall of the guild he looked at the dice he had gotten a 4 and 6." Alight I have 10 now because it's even I have to ut it in half, if it's odd you double it, we take turns rolling and add our number till one of us lands on 21. If you over shoot you get how ever many you were over by." Shaman explained. | |
