| "Well...I've been living outside for ages now, so I've gotten relatively used to the cold. After a while it can get strangely comforting. But you are correct. We should leave here as soon as possible. A safe place this definitely is not, no matter how resistant one might be to the cold." Pulling himself together again, William focussed for a second to remember the course of the path he had found before once more floating in front of the other two, trying to guide them to ground level. It was surprising, that such a simple change in altitude would attract much stronger Pokémon than there would be in the valleys, but then again the climate in these parts was only allowing the sturdiest of Pokémon to roam the area. Hopefully encounters with them would be few. | |

| Ecru started walking with the group. It was kind of cold for the Trapinch, why would he decide to even go up such a dangerous cold place anyway. I wonder when we'll get off of this mountain he thought. He did remember it being a long climb when he finally 'reached' the top, maybe it would be somewhat faster as they were going down the snowy 'mountain range'?. Probably but it would possibly be more dangerous going down since well wild/native Pokemon in the area all hostile and all. |

| The group walked in silence for half an hour. In that silence, Crysel was using her great ears to listen for any other pokemon. There were of course some that she could hear, but none seemed to approach or follow them. Until she heard one. It was always in the same direction, hiding whenever she looked back to she what it was. Crysel got closer to William and whispered under the sound of the wind to only him. "We are being followed by something. I don't know what it is. Be on guard." Crysel would always stay prepared, waiting for when that pokemon would jump out to attack them. - This dice is not existing.

| Just as Crysel had finished her sentence, a shadow jumped out from behind some rocks, trying to headbutt William from above. The Roggenrola focussed on its target and prepared for the impact. That impact didn't happen. As the Rock type descended out of the skies again, William's typing protected him, causing the little attacker to pass right through his gaseous form, landing on the ground with a thud afterwards. Even though the Gastly had just been instructed to always stay prepared, the Rock type suddenly falling from the skies did take him by surprise. Flinching, the Ghost type stared at the adversary in shock. | |

| Ecru stopped seeing as a Rock type Pokemon had come out of nowhere attempting to attack the Gastly. It failed to hurt the Gastly of course. Ecru backed away frightened of the Pokemon. He once again tried hid in the snow hopping the Roggenrola wouldn't see him or anything of the sort even though he did kind of... blend out of the whole place being brown and all.
(Sorry I uh... couldn't really think of anything sooo have a terrible/ short post!) |

| Crysel cursed their luck She was ill prepared to fight a rock type. Her only attack that could cause any good damage toward the Roggenrola was Avalanche and there was no safe way to use that. And Ecru was completely useless the way he was now. Looks like she'd have to protect Ecru while William fought. She went over and picked Ecru up. "William, you need to take care of this. I don't have anything to use on this pokemon. I'll keep him safe while you do this." Crysel stepped back out of the range of the Roggenrola. | |

| Silently muttering a slightly annoyed: "Of course...", the Gastly prepared for battle. His opponent may only be a Roggenrola, but he still had to be careful as this mountain held various other dangers as well, some of which the Gastly had had to face in the past already. At least it wouldn't be resistant to Ghost type attacks, so the Gastly could use his most powerful attack without it being weakened by the opponent's typing. As he remembered all the sadness and sorrow in his life once more, a dark energy flowed through the spectral body of the spherical Pokémon. The more William visualized all those painful moments and situations, the more detailed they got in front of his inner eye, the more the dark energy deep inside him built up. Finally the Gastly had accumulated enough of it to concentrate it into a blackish sphere, that radiated not only with an ominous glow, but also...something else. It was difficult to describe, but the orb was glowing with...pain. This sphere the Ghost type now launched at the attacking Rock type, hoping to scare it enough for it to give up its endeavor of defeating the trio. Now it only had to work... | |

| Ecru didn't say a thing as he was 'picked' up by the Sneasel and carried away to somewhere safer. He of course didn't want to get into the fight with the Roggenrola and the Gastly and get himself hurt so he was actually kind of glad that she was 'taking' him away. Though he did kind of wonder why she was letting 'William' deal with the Roggenrola by himself. Ecru sighed to himself as he didn't really feel like bothering Crysel in a situation like this and ask her a stupid question on why the Gastly had to fight by himself. So he just stayed quiet as he already was. |

| The Roggenrola was struck by the attack and knocked back. It would have attacked back normally, but it was clearly outmatched. The Gastley it was impervious to its physical attacks. A smart creature knew when to run and this pokemon did just that.
Crysel put Ecru down and walked over to William. "Looks like being a ghost type has its advantages sometimes. You scared it away." | |

| William couldn't help but show a small, wry smile. "Heh...If you'd know, how often I wished for this exact thing not to happen...well...it's a long story." William may not have managed to leave his past behind himself completely yet, but he was comfortable enough to speak about it. "Well, I guess every curse has its good sides as well. But we should continue. The next adversary will certainly not be defeated this easily." Without waiting for a response, the spectral creature began floating down the path he had scouted out earlier again. The more time they would spend here, the more likely it would become for something unpleasant to discover them. And Ecru shouldn't be involved in battles in his current state. | |

| Ecru 'walked' to the group again. Looking down he thought for sure that they probably thought he was useless. He felt like asking them if they honestly thought he was 'useless'. Well for one he wasn't doing anything but be a coward the whole time when on little Pokemon popped up. Nah, as before he just didn't feel like saying anything. Maybe, just say a nice thank you at the end of the journey and that's it?

| Crysel kept silent as they walked on. Quiet was good. quiet meant there was nothing following them or attacking. Quiet was safe. Quiet could also mean someone was sneaking up on you which is why Crysel kept looking behind herself. Some would call it paranoia. Maybe, but it kept her alive her entire life. So a little paranoia was okay as long as you didn't let it make you make horrible dangerous choices. | |

| Focussing on the path they were going down, William kept glancing around, trying to find potential attackers before they would be able to spot him. The other two seemed to be quiet. That was good, as it meant, that their talking wouldn't distract the Gastly from the important things like remembering not to lead his two temporary companions over a bottomless ravine. But even though the calming silence was welcome, it started to make William miss his rather vocal friends, namely Acro, Shiro and Nate. With them, the silence wouldn't persist for a second, but although the Gastly would be annoyed about that, he would secretly smile to himself. But this wasn't the time to be sentimental. There still was a job to be done. | |

| Ecru looked down at snow. It's so... quiet Ecru thought. He didn't say anything since well he never really had anything to say in the first place. I wonder how long until the bottom? Ecru randomly thought, he had asked himself this question before but he was starting to really starting to get tired of climbing this 'mountain'.
