First topic message reminder :

The sun had just risen from behind the mountains of the Black Spear mountain range.
It almost seemed as if they were spears, whose tips had stabbed the heavens, which were now bleeding shimmering light onto the cold rocks below.
On a lone mountain path amidst those boulders of black, a single shadowy blob could be seen moving through the rugged cliffs, the first rays of sunlight shining through his body and casting a purple gloom over the area behind him.
That blob was William the Gastly, who had traveled to these mountains in the earliest hours of the day already, exploring and hunting for treasure.
Not a sound was made by him as he didn't want to alert any of the creatures residing in and around the many caves of this landmark. The day was still a new one, holding infinite possibilities...

"And why do you think you can give orders now? Still, i have to agree, that that does make sense. Due to the strong winds, however, I won't be able to float up too high...I'll try to find a way."
That being said, the spectral sphere floated off into the distance, scanning the area for a route, that would probably be the easiest to traverse as a ground-bound being. While he didn't have too much experience regarding the capacity of mobility for those Pokémon, he still managed to find a way, that the other two shouldn't fall to their deaths on that easily.
Slowly approaching the group, he already began talking from quite some distance away in order of not surprising them too much as that might cause them to attack him.
After he summed up his findings, William kept floating in place, waiting for a reaction. Hopefully they could really move on that path. It was in times like these, that William learned to love his Levitate ability even more.

Ecru sighed quite disappointed, he had come to this mountain wanting to explore and find new things he hadn't seen before but this wasn't the case. Crysel already made the decision to get him off the snowy mountain since she said it was dangerous so he didn't really say anything against it since she was probably right. He said nothing while the Gastly had came back to tell them about the path he had found.

Crysel said nothing to William's comment about her giving orders. To be quite honest, she was a little surprised she was helping this pokemon. In the past, she would have ignored the Trapinch entirely, leaving him to live or die on his own. She would have used Avalanche to create a distraction before running from the Gastly. Ever since Mordred wandered into her cave... her life had changed. She had changed. Crysel was brought out of her thoughts by the ghost type's return and nodded when he finished speaking. "Ecru, you walk ahead of me, I'll watch the rear. You can lead us down the path you saw."

"Very well. Try to tell me, should you be falling to your deaths or something similar. I do kind of have trouble judging the accessibility of paths as you can probably guess."
Although she stll didn't have any justification for it, William didn't mind taking orders from the Sneasel anymore. After all they made sense. Slowly he led the other two down the path through the rugged mountain peaks. So much had changed since the Gastly had joined the guild...before, William might not even have talked to the two...he would have taken a huge detour or just attacked them immediately. But now he had been talking to them. And it led to him being able to help the Trapinch.
He had changed. For the better.

Ecru got kind of afraid hearing the Gastly say they could 'fall to their deaths'. He hoped the path the Gastly told them about was well safe. Well, he figured he could trust the Gastly since he was in a Guild. He tried not to think of that. He followed Crysel's orders not wanting to go against it and slowly walked down the path with the Gastly leading the group. Maybe, I could find a item on the way down Ecru thought kind of randomly. It was probably unlikely since there was snow everywhere but he could at least try to find something while they traveled the path.

Crysel kept to the back as she said she would, keeping watch as she said she would. The path seemed adaquete as a path, safe enough for the Trapinch and she. The Sneasel had a general bad feeling as they went along. She felt as they being followed, being watch. Peaceful pokemon did not just follow random pokemon for no reason. Suddenly Crysel turned and lept at their follower, attacking with a Scratch.

This dice is not existing.

Surprised by the sudden commotion, William turned around to see the Sneasel facing a Mightyenna, the latter of which with a long scratch wound running across its face.
"Now I don't remember that thing being there..."
Dark types. Why did it have to be Dark types? Of all types, the Dark type was the Gastly's least favourite for obvious reasons. What was it, that made Ghost types this vulnerable against them, though?
And would those two Pokémon be able to defeat that enemy? Probably not. Knowing, that he had to do something, the Gastly concentrated a variety of thoughts into a small, yellowish sphere. It included the concept of an edgeless square, intersecting parallels, the corner of a circle and many more.
Finally, he released the bizarre creation, which slowly made its way towards their adversary. Hopefully this Confuse Ray would reduce the imminent threat somewhat.

H-Huh? Ecru thought turning around to 'noises' seeing as the Sneasel had well scratched a Mightyena. Ecru backed away afraid of the wild pokemon. It of course wouldn't be friendly if it was following them and if the Sneasel had attacked it. He didn't like fighting and would often run away from fights so that of course is what he would do here. He didn't want to get separate from anyone so he backed away from the group and soon laid down in the snow afraid, not wanting to get hurt or get into the battle. He knew they'd probably call him a coward but he didn't really care.

Crysel had not been expecting a Mightyena. Fully evolved and most definitely stronger in almost every way. However, her strike did connect and rake on the wild pokemon's left side. The Mightyena almost got her with a counter Bite attack, but Crysel barely managed to escape it. The attack was so close that Crysel could have felt the other dark type's breath on her body. William's attack almost struck her, but Crysel fell flat to the ground to avoid it, letting the Confuse Ray hit their opponent. "Get Ecru to the next ridge! My next attack won't hit you both there!" Crysel needed to make this Mightyena disappear and her Avalanche was just the thing to do it. However, she would not repeat her past mistakes. She would make sure that no one but her target got hit by the attack.

Surprised by the sudden orders, it took William some time to fully comprehend the instructions he had been given. While he didn't think, that the Sneasel would be able to defeat this opponent on her own, it appeared as if she had a plan, so the Gastly decided not to screw it up.
"You heard her. Let's go over there."
Hoping, that Crysel did indeed know what she was doing, William floated over to the ridge she had been talking about, not even looking be hind him to see whether Ecru was following him.
What kind of plan would require them to leave? Both against Earthquake and Magnitude the Gastly would be completely immune, so that couldn't be it. There had to be another reason...

Ecru was still hidden in the snow until he had heard Crysel say something about moving to another ridge. O-Okay he thought following what she had said. He slowly stood up seeing as the Gastly was moving/floating away from where Crysel was. He soon looked to the Sneasel curiously wondering what she possibly going to do with the Mightyena. He figured if she told them to move away then what she was going to do would have be dangerous. He of course didn't want himself get into it. He stopped looking at her thinking she was going to be okay and soon followed the Gastly to the next ridge where she had told them both to go.

Crysel had been antagonizing and using Taunt to force the confused Mightyena to focus and try his attacks on her. She kept dodging until she saw the two on the ridge. The outcropping of stone above them would stop the ice and snow from reaching them. Crysel took a deep breath, gathered energy, then released it in one shout toward the snow covered mountain. The snow broke off and started coming down with a rumbling. While the Mightyena was distracted by the incoming threat, Crysel Scratched one of its back legs to slow it and barely had enough time to make it to the protected ridge. Even as the Avalanche swept it away, Crysel knew the Mightyena would live. Its fur coat would stop it from freezing to death and its two uninjured front paws would dig it out. It would live to see another day.

Seeing the masses of snow take the Dark type with them to the ground, William couldn't do anything but stare in shock for the first few moments. Did that Sneasel really just cause an Avalanche?
Finally he managed to stammer a few words:
"Are you sure you actually need my help?"
How did she do this? It seemed to have been an immensely powerful attack without any discernible drawbacks. Furthermore, she didn't seem to be too exhausted. But there had to be a drawback, otherwise everyone would be using that attack...
As he realized it, William wanted to slap himself in the face.
Of course the attack posed huge danger for one's teammates as well!
Had the Gastly really been alone for long enough not to see this?

Ecru was quiet stunned seeing as what the Sneasel did. She caused an avalanche! Ecru was quite amazed as he had never really seen an avalanche happen before. All the snow and stuff. It must have been cold for the Mightyena, but this is where it lives so why would that be a problem for it. He looked down at the snow thinking that this mountain range really was dangerous as Crysel had said it was before. That could have been me, if some random Pokemon had attacked me while I was by myself Ecru thought. He was now starting to feel glad that these two Pokemon decided to help him get off of the mountain range. It would have been impossible for a weak little Trapinch such as Ecru to survive such an attack, being a ground type an all.

William was wrong one one account. Though she didn't show it, Avalanche did tire Crysel a bit. The adrenalin of the battle and her will to survive gave her a burst of energy. Right now she felt drained, but she wouldn't show that. In any case, Crysel could only use that move three times a day due to lack of practice. She still had reservations about using it after what happened in her past... "Okay. We are clear for now. We should hurry and get going. We don't want to be here at night. It gets very cold. I can take the cold because of my second ice type, but..."
