Best Partners!

Crash was relaxing in a nearby tree branch, thinking about his guild. "Man, I named the thing Team Rome, which is a name of power, with great nations and powerful pokemon, but I haven't gotten a single member!" He sighed and kicked the tree, then he heard a cracking sound, and the branch fell on a small blue rodent-looking pokemon. "Wh-whoops! Sorry about that, I didn't mean to hurt you..." He helped the pokemon up, then looked at this Explorer's badge, it was covered in dirt, and he started to wipe it off.

Bloo dusted her round blue body off, then shook her head furiously to get the dirt and leaves out of her ears. "I'm fine, I'm fine." She smiled, and held the ball of her tail in between her paws shyly. "Why were you kicking the tree?" She tilted her head to the side, curious of the Tyrogue.

Crash looked up at the tree, then back at the Marill, "Uh...sorry, I was kind of angry..." He smiled shyly, then pointed at his explorer's badge, "I'm in a guild, you see, and my team, well...it doesn't have any members." He explained how it had been months and he hadn't even found anyone to be his partner, no one really agreed with him on anything. He liked to help people, not focus on his own goals.

"Wow! No way! You see... I've been looking for a team to join! You see, I've been wanting to be in a rescue team for a long time now... but no one seems to think I would make a good partner, so they just ignore me or laugh at me..." She looked at her bow and adjusted it.

Crash made his signature derp face, ._.'' "Uh, aren't you a little too cute to be threatening? S-sorry if that's mean! I mean..." He imagined his team again, Team Rome, the most powerful team out of them all! The strongest members, the best leader! Then he looked at the Marill, "Well, I guess you could join! Just don't get hurt ok, uh...what's your name again?"

"My name is Bloo! Thank you very much!" She smiled up at him. "Don't worry, my aqua jet is the best around!" She puffed out her fluffy chest proudly. "I won't get hurt! What's your name?" She tilted her head to the side and bounced her tail up and down.

Crash smiled, "I'm Crash! So you say you're uh...Aqua Jet...is the best?" He didn't really like water. He gulped and nervously sat down to steady himself. "Well, this'll be fun! We should probably get to know each other, so what do you like to do?"

"Well I like spending time outside... I like getting stronger so I can help save pokemon... but I also really like just floating around and being in the water!" She smiled happily up at him. "What about you, what do you like to do?"

Crash shuddered, "Well, I like to get stronger too, and I like to help others! I really like fighting too, but uh, I don't really like water much.."

"I'll take care of the water for you." She offered him a friendly smile. "I think this arrangement will work out just fine. I feel like we both have the same kind of ideals." She smiled and hugged the ball of her tail happily. "We'll be able to help and save pokemon together... and we'll both get stronger in the process, to help save more pokemon!

Crash smiled, "Yeah! This is gonna be great! So, do you wanna go train together?" He got up and stretched. He knew that this pokemon was gonna be the first partner that stayed with him, he just had that feeling.
