| Izumi pawed at the dirt near the entrance to Pecha Foret, looking for items and boxes. The smell of treasure and discovery filled her nostrils, along with the stench of itemless bare patches within the forest. She hated this scent; it always had to come in and rain on her happy parade. She grumbled something inaudible to herself with an agitated sigh. | |

| A feathered reptile like creature practically flew from tree to tree as he leaped from tree to tree, using his feathers on his wings to help him glide to where he wanted. He couldn't fly, sadly, but this would have to do for now. He ignored the scents of the forest, used to them by now, but couldn't ignore a pokemon that he leaped above. He was curious enough to look at it, but his glance had caused him to forget to change his flight path with his wings and ram into a tree head first. He fell to the ground with a thump and a groan. Acro the Archen had just leaped head first into a tree, again. | |

| Izumi was startled by the sudden Archen dropping from the sky. Being a withdrawn Pokemon of few words, she didn't react beyond flinching at first. However, after a couple minutes she cautiously crept forward to examine the flightless bird Pokemon, to see if he was okay. She sniffed the air, her well-trained nose acting as a sort of backup radar; letting her on to any danger her disaster senses didn't pick up.
"Are you... okay?" she spoke quietly and cautiously, her words somewhat blunt.

| Acro opened his eyes to see a somewhat familiar face. The pokemon looked similar to another pokemon he had worked with on a job before, "Shiro?" he asked. He wasn't too sure since his vision was a bit blurry from the knock in the head. Was it just him or did Shiro take a dip in red paint? Acro rolled over so he wasn't splayed out on his back anymore and stood up, giving his head a shake to try and clear the dizziness. He saw that the pokemon was in fact NOT Shiro, "Oh! U-Uh I-I'm sorry. I th-thought you were someone else! | |

| Izumi chuckled a little. "Oh it's alright; my sister and I look a lot alike, even despite the color difference. You're not the first person to confuse us." she assured the Archen. A tiny smile broke her usually stoic demeanor. "My name is Izumi; I'm actually Shiro's elder sister." | |

| "I-I'm Acro...an Archen...I-I met your sister when we were on a guild mission..." The Archen managed to say. He was slowly regaining his composure like he usually did. He was glad he wasn't near as nervous as he used to be in the past. In fact, when he looked back on how cowardly he used to be he would grow embarrassed. - This dice is not existing.

| "Oh, so you're a guild member?" Izumi asked, interested. She herself was surprised how much she was talking; it seemed every day she found more and more pokemon she enjoyed talking to. "I actually run a shop within the guild..." she began to responded, but her mouth snapped shut as she heard rustling in the bushes. She glanced around cautiously, sensing hostile presences nearby... | |

| A sunkern blasted from the bushes and tackled a unaware Acro. The archen screeched in surprise more than pain. His instincts took over and he used Pluck, pecking the sunkern and eating his Pecha berry that he held and dealing massive damage to the small seed pokemon. Acro ran a distance away from the Sunkern through instinct, he had to be careful or else his ability would activate and give him trouble. | |

| Izumi jumped into a defensive position as the Sunkern jumped from the bushes; having no time to warn her friend of the impending attack. She almost leaped into the fray, but she saw that the Archen was having no real trouble holding his own and held back in order to stay out of his way. A few peculiar scents hit her nose and she started to look around, her nose following the peculiar scents... - This dice is not existing.

| Acro dodged the tackle attacks coming from the sunkern and finished it with ease with another pluck attack. He looked to the absol, wondering just what it was up to now. "S-So uh...What are you doing in the forest? I-I was just wandering around since I was taking a bit of a break today." Acro watched as the absol found a very rare item, he was glad Astrid wasn't here or else he might EAT the item. - This dice is not existing.

| Izumi grabbed the Watamel berry she had sniffed out and slipped it gently into her bag, then turned back to Acro. "Oh, nothing really... It's just that I need to find stock for my store, but that stock is hard to come by." she explained, looking down a little as she spoke. "I was thinking of trying to find stock at the dungeons around Rainfront town..." she mused, and then she stopped once more. She smelled two more Pokemon, although this time she didn't sense any danger. "Who's there?" she questioned. | |

| A deerling and a Pidove had been walking buy, they hadn't noticed the two odd pokemon as they spoke to each other, they were oblivious to the Absol's voice. "Did you hear about Crystal cave?" A pidove asked. "No, I didn't what about it?" The deerling replied. "There's been some weird stuff going on! rumors about a crystal, it's supposed to drive pokemon absolute mad by just looking at it!"
Acro heard the pokemon speak to each other as they walked past, he wished he could speak to them and ask more about what they were talking about. His cowardice of strangers held him back.

| Izumi heard the Pokemon and gasped. She wasn't usually one to confront strangers, but once her curiosity took hold it called all the shots. She bounded over to the two Pokemon excitedly, her heart pounding with anticipation. She turned back for a moment to motion for Acro to follow along.
"Hey! Hey you two!!!" Izumi shouted as she neared the duo of Pokemon. "Hey wait, I have a question for you!!!"

| The deerling and pidove flinched when the large disaster pokemon leaped towards them so suddenly, calling out to them for questioning. The beast's red blade looked menacing and deadly, so they did not want to take their chances of fleeing and only angering the beast, "Wh-What??" The deerling finally spoke." The Archen was startled by the absol's sudden movements as well. Was she also curious about the two pokemon's conversation? If she was, the archen secretly complimented her bravery to just suddenly speak to them like this. He would have stayed back and probably never have learned anything, | |

| Izumi flinched as the Pokemon shyer away from her; their timid movements making her feel self-concious. She looked to her feet for just a moment, then raised her eyes back to the Pokemon. "Hey... I'm not going to mug you or anything; I just wanted to hear more about the conversation you two were just having." She explained, trying to be a little less demanding in an attempt to make the Pokemon a little more comfortable. Her reputation as a disaster Pokemon had never given her trouble like this back home in the Black Mist Mountains, but then again Absol weren't the only tough Pokemon living in the mountains. "And... sorry for eavesdropping." she added apologetically, feeling like it was the right thing to do. | |
