Black and White 2: A New Journey

It was a sunny, but breezy day in the small city of Aspertia. Jennifer Whispell was up and ready, bright and early in preparation for the day ahead. Today was the day that she would get a Pokemon of her very own and begin her Pokemon journey!
Heading downstairs, dressed, packed and ready to leave, she walked over to her mother and grinned, embracing her in a hug.
"I'll see you soon, mom," grinned Jenna, her mother nodding.
"Bianca may have gotten lost as it's the first time she's been to Aspertia City, so it might be an idea to try and find her," chuckled Jenna's mom, "Professor Juniper said to look for the green hat."
Nodding, Jenny replied, "Will do!" and opened the front door. She paused for a moment before stepping outside. Grinning, she headed over to her friend's house and knocked on the door.
"Hey, Kyo!" she called, "I have some awesome news!"

Jenny couldn't help but laugh a little at Kyo's temper suddenly rising. She couldn't blame him for being annoyed, after all the guy had just fallen asleep in front of them. However Jenny herself was not one to let things get to her. Instead she moved on, "To Floccesy Town then!" she grinned, pointing an arm in the direction they were headed and starting to march off, though the march slowly turned back into a normal walk.

Kyo had just entered the town and headed straight to the Pokemon Center. He needed to heal his Pokemon. "We need to do some training tomorrow. I want to be ready for the battle against Cheren." he said to himself. Taking out his text book he started to look over his notes. After a while he heard his stomach growl, and the Nurse had called him over for his Pokemon. "Your Pokemon are in fighting shape, please come again soon." she said. "Thanks, ok girls it's time for dinner!" he said releasing his Pokemon from their Pokeballs.

Jenny had healed her two Pokemon, but had done a little exploring around town before finally sitting down to eat. After finding a nice patch of grass to sit down on, Jenny prepared the food for her Pokemon first. Lutro dug into his food quite ravenously, though Celandine ate in a rather more delicate manner. Jenny had bought herself a sandwich in one of Floccesy Town's shops and was chowing down on that.
"So, do you think we should head out to Route 20 and see what Pokemon we can find there, or do you wanna hang around the town for a while and find a place to work on our battling skills?" Jennifer asked her Pokemon. Celandine hesitated at the first option, not one for getting on with new faces at first, however Lutro was all for making a new friend. Jenny chuckled at their different reactions.
"Well I guess we could also train on Route 20. That option seems to make the most sense..."

Kyo studied while his Pokemon ate their meal. May be we should go and train on Route 20. Kyo thought. Looking up from his book he saw Garcia and Nights starring at him. "Um why are you two starring at me?" he asked them. With smirks on their faces Nights and Garcia jumped on him, causing his to fall back while in the chair. With a laugh, the two pokemon tickled their trainer.

After finishing their food, Jenny packed up the rubbish and remains of their dinner, making sure not to leave anything behind on the small grassy patch. She then crouched down so that both Lutro and Celandine could easily clamber up onto her head and shoulder respectively. Using one hand to shade her eyes, Jenny glanced around, trying to navigate around the town in her head so that she could find the right direction to head in to get onto Route 20. She'd need to find Kyo at some point too...
Spotting a sign that pointed to Route 20, Jenny grinned and jogged over to it, following it's directions and quickly heading towards the route, keeping an eye out for Kyo as she did so.

Kyo headed out to Route 20 to see if he could get some training in. When he reached the Post, he saw Jenna.

"Hey! Jenna! Ready for some training?" he asked her. He just wanted to give Quilfish head his map and get to training. He looked at Garcia, who was on his shoulder, had given him a determined look.

"Oh hey Kyo!" grinned Jenny, jogging swiftly over to her friend's position by the post.
"I was actually hoping to catch a new Pokemon before doing some training. What about you?"

"I think I'll do some training at Flocaccy Ranch." Kyo said looking at the Route. He saw the bridge and started to go across it. Wonder where Quilfish head is? he thought. Garcia was resting on his shoulder, enjoying the warmth of the sun.
