| This was it. This decision might forever Change Who sorren was, He needed to know what he was dealing with. Was this the place where he might belong? What Would be expected of him? The guild was impressive, Pokemon coming and going. Pokemon from all walks of life. What made this place such Beacon of hope? Why did it fulfill so many wishes of the pokemon who are a part of it? Sorren would soon find out. Caught in the bustle of the pokemon around him he looked around admiring the guild. | |

| Faye the guildmaster had just returned from her visit to the Kecleon shop to stack up on some supplies for the guild as she saw a Torchick standing in front of the guild. She couldn't help but feel a bit proud upon seeing him admiring the building. Careful not to scare him, she approached him and began to speak: "Hello, little guy. My name is Faye. Is there anything I can help you with?" | |

| Sorren turned to the Meganium. She Gave off an aura of power. The final evolution of Chikorita. Sorren thought she must be wicked powerful. He froze for a few seconds before Beginning to talk in a hushed voice.
"Uh... Yes. I've been staying around town for the last couple of weeks, and well... I've met quite a few people from the guild or ones who were going to come to the guild. I'm Trying to decide whether or not to join." Sorren said, avoiding eye contact, a tad bit scared.

| Seeing the small Pokémon being intimidated, Faye immediately responded: "There's no need to be scared, dearie. Now, whether you want to join the guild or not is your own decision. I can not help you with that. But I can say, that I would love to have you with us." Smiling, she continued: "If there are any questions you have, feel free to ask me." | |

| "There has been one question on my mind, from the first time I ever heard of this place. Why? What does it all mean? Why are so many pokemon willing to join this place, to delve into dungeons? Why does this place even exist in the first place?" Sorren asked, still a little bit stiff. | |

| "Well...while I don't know everyone's exact motivations, many Pokémon join the guild to be able to help other Pokémon. Others like exploring new places or finding new friends. Then there's the possibility of finding treasure or getting famous to be considered. There are just as many reasons to do things as there are Pokémon in this world. For me it was a mixture of the thrill of adventure and the ability to help others to make new friends. But I can not give you a reason to join. You'll have to find your own, if you want to." Faye was quite surprised at how deep the conversation had become, continuing with the words: "If you're still unsure, maybe you should get some rest and think over it first. Sleep can be a great way to think over matters, dearie." | |

| "I've spent weeks avoiding this place. I told myself I would make my decision here. What would people think of me if i join just for the free food or room? What Kind of pokemon would that make me? I don't have the dreams others do, just a simple goal, something I could go and do Anywhere." Sorren said, Completely forgetting that he was talking to a complete stranger. | |

| "I don't think they would think any less of you, dear. After all, you'd be helping others. And if one does good, the reasons for that aren't that important in my opinion. And yes, while you could help others without joining the guild, I believe, that it can support you with helping others. Don't worry, by the way. We have many new recruits without those dreams you speak of. Instead being with friends and working together as teams is what forms those dreams you might have seen. But I can only give you advice. What kind of Pokémon all this would make you, whick kind of Pokémon you want to be and whether you want to join or not is entirely your decision." | |

| "I never said I wanted to help anybody, I never said that was my goal, but still... So many people want to be a part of this, but i have no real will to join this guild. Why should I join and not work as hard as those who join this guild because of better reasons. Basically the only thing i really want from this place is a hotel. Sure i'll do the work to earn my keep, but all and all I don't intend to be part of anything. I guess i just want to continue my life, but with a place i can rest my head at." Sorren said, getting slightly angry, this pokemon wasn't helping. It was like she didn't care about anything at all. As if she were just a leaf on the breese. Sorren might have prefered a rock to bounce his thoughts off of. | |

| "Of course you can do that too, sweetie. But if the housing is your only reason for joining, I'd say, that there are better places for that. Being part of the guild doesn't leave much time for anything else and the rooms aren't that much, because the members only sleep there. So if that's what you're looking for, I'd suggest for you to check into a hotel instead and find a job here in town. That would leave you with more free time in my opinion, sweetie." | |

| Finally, she seemed to understand. "That's why I've been having so much trouble with this decision. It's hard because I Know I can always get on with life outside it, But then again, It might be better for me here. I don't know. All I've ever wanted to do was get stronger. Ever since i was a kid I've been living out of mystery dungeons, Fighting to get stronger. Here things might be different, Maybe they won't be. I just Want to know If it would be right for me To Do The jobs not for the money or the recognition, But Just To Do what I always do, but get paid for it, and have a place to sleep. It just doesn't seem right. I can't... after all I've heard about this place, take advantage of it because it's a better version of what i'm already doing." Sorren said, He was shaking. "I-I Just want to know, after all these years, If- If things would change for the better."
Sorren was starting to make excuses. Why didn't he want to go through with it? What was stopping him. It was something far greater the being nice.

| "Trying to get stronger is quite a noble endeavor indeed.", Faye smiled. "But fighting alone can only get one so far. First you might want to think about what "strength" truly means. Is it just being good at fighting? Or is there more to it? Maybe being with the members would help you answer that question. And while I don't think, that what you'd be doing would be "right", I don't think, that it'd be "wrong" either. After all, no matter what you work for, the results would be beneficial to the guild and other Pokémon as well. Thus you wouldn't be harming anyone with it, which is why I wouldn't say it's "wrong". As for things changing for the better, I can't say. Things are only as good as you let them be and improvement only occurs when you make it happen. Whether things would improve is your judgement to make. Just do, what you think would be best, sweetie." | |

| Sorren didn't know what to say, after all the time he thought about this, He never thought his reasons would be so trivial, maybe all he needed, all he wanted was to hear someone say that everything was ok, because he no longer had anyone else to say that. Maybe all he needed was approval. Whatever it was he had it now, and he was crying.
"Thank you." Sorren managed to say in between sobs.

| As Faye saw the small Pokémon cry, she gently hugged him with her vines. "There, there, you're welcome, dearie. Take your time and make your decision when you're ready. If you need anything, just tell me." Quietly, she began to hum a soothing melody...

| After a bit of Time to get his thoughts back in order, Sorren stood up.
"I already Have made my decision, All i really needed was for someone to tell me that it was alright for things to change, that it was fine that i'm trying to make my life better. Thank you so much. I feel so stupid seeing it all in retrospect, It was all so naive of me." Sorren said, one last tear rolling down his cheek. "Now, where do I sign up?"
