| It was just the day after Life had been released, and already Nick was close to beating it. He had chosen the Easy difficulty, since he wanted to see what he was up against in challenge mode. Just yesterday he had put on the required suit with the helmet that seemed over-sized. He had made it to the final boss after 14 hours of straight playing. What the game advertised was true! He had actually forgotten that he was playing a video game! He made his character look almost exactly like him, except he added a few touches, he made his character slightly more muscular and wear a brown cloak. He even managed to get his favorite steampunk goggles into the game! He couldn't believe it, sure the game was expensive, but it was worth it!
He watched as he walked up to the flight of stairs in a seemingly pitch black room. He could see what was most likely his character's love interest in the middle. of the spiral staircase that had a mysterious blue glow that radiated from rare crystals that weren't so rare in this part of the game. The steps were large, big enough for a giant, he had to climb each step. He could almost feel the physical exhaustion in his muscles. He gave a sigh of relief and success as he climbed up the last step. He stood up and drank a endurance potion, he could tell a boss was coming based on how the background was set up. He smirked, he was prepared for this. His gauntlet with claws was jam packed with electricity that was formed through magic. He could summon thunder and lightning at will and he could claw-hook himself around rooms like he was Link in Legend of Zelda!
He approached the shape in the middle, cautiously. Something was going to happen, he knew it. He looked up to see only darkness with no light, to the sides, more darkness. He took more cautious steps towards the center, to the girl. He began to forget that this was a game once more, and began to ran towards the girl, giddy with excitement for finally being able to save her! That was when pillars of rock fell from the sky, a monstrous roar echoed from the black ceiling. Nick panicked, he shot blindly with his lightning into the moving shape in the sky. That was when it happened.
The world suddenly froze, Nick was unable to move as well. He witnessed the graphics grow worse at an alarming rate until there was nothing, but blurs. He wished he could scream and clutch his head and throw the headphones off as a high pitched noise was emitted into his ears. He struggled to move, but soon found himself in a long spasm as electricity shot through his body. He found himself once again in the real world, except he couldn't move still and he was falling over. He hit the floor with a loud thud, and blacked out. He was found by his neighbors only hours later, they had found it strange when he wasn't hooting and hollering over winning battles and loosing games. He was rushed to the hospital, and the news came and did a report. The company claimed that it must have been the system he was using. They couldn't have been more wrong.
Nick woke to find himself in water. He began choking and thrashing about. He finally figured out that the water wasn't deep and sat up. He gasped for breath as he looked around. Above him was a long spiral walkway to the ceiling. He coughed up more water and dragged himself out of the small pool. He found a large archway in front of him and walked through it. There was a maiden on a pedestal that had a balcony that overlooked a large field. And to his left were eight freakishly huge statues, to his right were the same. The statues each had a different look and all seemed menacing. He finally reached up to remove his headphones, he was done for the day. He found that the headphones weren't there. He felt his goggles and his hair, along with his cloak. It wasn't the illusion of feeling that the game implied, he was actually FEELING it! It gasped as the place started to rumble and a statue resembling a minotaur exploded into dust.

| Auron, Auron Takeru. His whole life he had a passion for video games, and his whole life his family was lower class, so he had to work for his video games. Sometimes this took from school, though he could usually juggle a job and school without getting any C's or lower. For the past three years he hadn't bought a single game. Was he just "done with it?" No, he was saving his money for the Life system. He was also remaking the classic Zelda in this 3D system, giving an option for graphics copied from Skyward sword or a more block Minecraft look. The copyright was ended, as well as Nintendo, so it was all legal. He still would release this game on the internet, receiving donations and pre-orders for the game, which was his income for the time.
He'd almost finished the beta, and the demo was a massive hit, his website had 10,000,000 views, and not to mention the demo had 1,000,000 downloads. He had a massive fanbase at this point, and even quit school to work on his inde Zelda remake. So before he released it, he decided to play for himself. The start screen was a 3D mural of the one in the classic Zelda, and the file screen also had a character customization. There were three options in this game, use a premade Link, create your own, or scan yourself in. Auron opted for the latter. Twice. Once in his normal cloths, (A really nice jacket, shorts, sandals and socks), but the other one was a another scan that he never felt like deleting. In it he wore a Legend of Zelda shirt... and super man pajama pants. But there was no way that would come back and bite him in the butt.
So, with that, he began playing Zelda. In a matter of hours, knowing his 3D immersive version of the game, which had new towns, people, and items, he managed to beat all the temples and reach Ganon. At this point he had all the classic Zelda items, as well as a grappling hook, wind jar, every item from every game that wasn't in the original. As a weapon he wielded two chakrams. In this version, you could also design your own weapons, and they could also have special abilities. Auron's had the power of fire, the ability to be thrown and return, and a few other secrets. So here he was. In his normal clothing walking down a hallway. Something he didn't notice though... The hallway behind him... The ground was crumbling away, strange beams of glitched light appearing, much like removing a cartridge.
But that escaped his attention. Here was Ganon, and it was time to end it. Not a word was said, which was bizarre as Ganon was designed to talk. Nonetheless this escaped Auron's attention. A beam of energy blasted from the red and black sword Ganon was carrying, and Auron spun his chakrams, deflecting this energy like a shield. Then after a few times of slash and repeat he grew bored. First he shot a bolt of blinding white hot fire, then threw a chakrams to tear the evil one into pieces. As the chakrams buried themselves into the armor of Ganon and past, and the fire scorched and blinded, something else happened. The same glitching in the hallway. First Ganon froze, then the crumbling floor, soon everything but Auron.
Soon the whole frozen word faded into an immersive 3D static. Unable to exit, Auron went to rest. He awoke hours later in a field. That's odd, he wasn't in a field in the game, and he couldn't be outside. Wait, "I.. my chakrams... all my items... I still have them?" Still it wasn't the worst of it. The cloths he was wearing... Were superman pajama pants and a Zelda shirt. After a bit of erratic jumping it faded away, phew, hopefully that won't happen again. He stood, gazing off into the sunset, it was time to get to the bottom of this, time to destroy Ganon, and time to delete those pajamas. Meanwhile, in the real world, his body lie in a machine. His followers noticed that day, he hadn't posted the video. They worried so much they called the police. Three days and 397 police calls later they went to his house, and found him in a coma. His body was put in the hospital, left sleeping in a game...

| "Yeah, thanks." "Sign here." "Yup." Devlin waved and then closed the door, carrying a package in his arm. A few minutes later the package was open on the coffee table in the living room, a recently used pocket knife lay next to it. 'Warranty card... huh..." Dev tossed it aside and started to dig through the packaging pellets until he came upon what he had ordered. "I've officially ruined my social life." He grinned.
Meh. It wasn't that great anyways.
1 hour to set it up: Who needs manuals anyways? 30 minutes to figure out how it works (by reading the manual): So what? I'm a hypocrite 6 hours for character creation: That's normal...right? Tutorial? Tutorials are for the weak. 20 minutes later. Maybe I should have played through that...
72 hours pass and... "Finally, final boss." Dev shook his hand. Man... cramps were starting to set it. Dev watched as his opened the last door, walking into the darkness. A loading screen appeared. 20% 40... 60... [ERROR] 'What?" He stood up in surprise. "Man... That sucks." Dev tossed the controller aside onto the couch and looked around. 'Now where'd that warranty card go..." And that was the last thing he remembered before everything went dark.
"Wow...high res." Dev was looking at his hand, which was definitely not has hand. Rotating back and forth, making it into a fist, then punching the air. He really wasn't sure what happened. Dev reached behind him, taking the unique swifle (its a sword and a rifle ^_^) that was slung on his back and held it in his hands. It was strange, awesome, and familiar.
Well one thing was for sure. "I'm not in Kansas anymore..." He said in a ominous tone, then grinned walking towards somewhere. He'd always wanted to say a cheesy oneliner, but never found an occasion appropriate for one. But being stuck in a game? What could be better?
Now he just needed to figure out how to get back. Just in case.

| Lydia finally ended up plugging the game which she won off an auction into the dusty almost never used eletrical plug, but almost jumped as for the first time in seveal years a blue spark appeared hitting the metal plug. Finally after her shock(no pun intended), she pushed it all the way in and felt the humming before she heard it.
One time can't hurt, might as well see what this is good for. Then maybe I can sell it somewhere and get money off it. Just one time. she reminded herself, as Lydia got into a comfertable position on the ground. She read through everything already, if she was bored and there was really nothing to do and carefully immersed herself in a new world, in many different ways.
The first thing that struck her, was the fact that it was very realistic for a well a game. Everything was very high...what was the word? Resolution. At least it was okay, and seemed to be in working order. Even knowing what she was about to go through, Lydia didn't know what she wanted to make herself look like. Short, tall, female, male, she could even not be a human. After pondering, she closed her eyes and clicked on a button. Opening her eyes she saw that the option she chose was an anime character for a really young girl.
Well then, I'll with that. she thought blinking. Finally after a few minutes she created a cleric little girl, and gave her a weapon which had an intresting name. The S Thingy....why not she thought carelessly and gave it to herself. Finally for an ability. Looking at the huge amounts of things recommended for such a cleric Lydia just went to the non-recommended section and found something she thought seemed neat, Summon Minion. She easily completed the personality section and then stopped at the life bar area. There were different ways of telling how she would be damaged, and so many that it made her head swim. Quickly trying to get out of the different life areas, she finally clicked "Ib's life points system." Lydia was about to click start, when she stopped. With her personality she wasn't getting many friends that easily and she needed people to help support a cleric, since she would be healing and they would be. Lydia quickly changed the personality to 'friendly, and trustworthy', then put out the 'tricky' and 'loner' traits. Then she entered the game. What she wouldn't know is that it would have a mass affect.
Several hours passed, but she didn't notice.
It was fortunte that she didn't get the game before, otherwise she would have been hopelessly addicted and they would have eventually lost everything. Continueing through the game, she immersed herself in the plotline. Quietly she made her way to where the boss, orignally the friend of the trio, would be standing. Right as she was about to enter the boss battle, she soaked the white rose with four petals into a crystal clear vase full of water and watched facinated as a petal grew automaticly. Pocketing the rose she pulled out TST, and ran into the room where Mary should be. Indeed the girl was there and she held an artist knife in her hand, silently before dashing towards Lydia. Lydia was about to transform the Staff into a Spear, when the game froze up. Oh it's broken....maybe I could still sell it for mo her thought was disrupted as the colors flew everywhere and her vision went black. In real life she gasped one breath of air, and slowly fell to the ground and a small thump was heard. Within a few minutes her mother shambled to the room where Lydia lay and the moment that she saw the girl on the floor and believed her to be dead, her heart broke and she with a shriek of anguish, she collasped onto the floor never to move again. The police came once the neighbors said they heard a scream, and pulled daughter and the mother, into the hospital, where the latter was declared dead and the former was in a coma. Since their funds were low, they decided to keep the girl alive and see if she would wake in 3 months, if not....the plug would be pulled.
Lydia blinked awake. Her head hurt, but she appeared to be in a field in real life. Am I dead? Did I die from an eletrical shock? she thought as she looked aimlessly into the sky. Finally she sat up, but overshot and hit the floor, "What?" she asked right as she hit the ground. "Ugh..." she muttered as the dirt got stuck into her mouth, and turned to the nearest pool to get rid of the grit. If I'm dead then this isn't a bad place to live... Suddenly she shivered as a cold feeling spead up her spine. In her hand, when she didn't notice before was a spear, which looked like TST. To prove her growing dread, Lydia whispered, "Shield." the weapon complied and soon on her wrist was the same intricte piece of metal. "What happened...."

| Nick was standing in the large pavilion like structure, he could tell it was a large castle. He looked ahead of him to see a balcony like structure that led to stairs on each side. He stepped onto the balcony, and looked out into the field, seeing a girl in the middle of it washing her face. Nick knew this game, Shadows of the Colossus. There were no NPCs in this game, only land AI animals and bosses. So the girl must have been a user. He quickly made his way down the steps and towards the user, man this field was huge...He wondered if they would meet Wander and Agro here, he actually hoped not though. He approached the girl(Lydia) and asked, "Hey....are you a user?" (Novel posts...I can't type anymore T-T SORRY!) | |

| Auron Takeru stood in a field, in fact the same field as the girl who he may later come to know as Lydia. Not far away was another human, who approached the first. Who were they? What field was this? Auron had no idea as to where he was, due to his lack of familiarity with Shadows Of Colossus. Despite having briefly touching the game in gaming history he never got to know the game. It had stood the test of time, being remade into a remake in years recent, however Auron only kept up with a few select modern games, as he found the history far more interesting.
From a distance Auron continued to gaze. The one had summoned a shield, and the other seemed to be trying to talk, maybe? It was hard to tell, he was so far away he could't make much out. If he just ran a little ways- "AAAAAAAAUUAGHHHH!" Becoming impatient Auron had called forth fire from his chakrams to propel him, this worked in the fact that they propelled him, despite ignoring any sense of control or speed. He blazed across the sky, doing a few loops and tumbles before regaining stability and crashing softly, as softly as a crash is, into the ground. There was black smoke in the sky and a SEXI WAIFU in an awesome jacket a young man attempting to communicate with others he suspected to be other users.
"I... My... Auron, call me Auron..." He was huffing and puffing, clearly no offensive threat but he seemed to have the power to protect himself, even if he was in desperate need of a little more control, skill, and practice. What was going on? It worked so much easier before. Now in the real game, steering and physics were just like in the real world, and that sudden shift in mechanics rattled Auron a bit as it seemed. As staggered, exhausted, and tired he looked, there was something in his eye, a certain glint of excitement, of determination, of thrills. This exciting glint exemplified his sexiness to a grand peak of which it had perhaps never seen the likes. This glint in his eye was friendly, the sheer emotion jumped out and said "I'm a SEXI user!"
