Everything happens for a reason... (Done)

Reo the Cyndaquil was lost, in more ways than one, and not sure what to do anymore. He was trying to get stronger, yet nothing worked. He hated his life, though he had an amazing power. Reo hated that power. He hated being psychic. Maybe if he wasn't a Cyndaquil , maybe he would be less timid, less weak, less depressed.
The perfect place to train seemed to be at Furnace Peak, yet he was too weak to fight any of the pokémon he had encountered. All he could do was run, escape, hide. By this time, Reo was incredibly weakened and could run no longer. All he could do was wait for his time to come.
"Why, why must i be so weak, why must i be cursed with psychic abilities, why does the world hate me..." Reo whimpered, on the verge of tears. He had waited for his pursuers to find him, and it seemed safe. When he tried to stand up, his legs gave out, and he blacked out from exhaustion...

"What i wouldn't give for a marshmallow and a stick right about now" Sorren said, Siting by the stairs. He kept racking his brain on a way to get over the lava, but no solution came. He had been up and down the room a dozen times. Rock. Rock. Bush. Rock. Rock. Flaming bush. Hot lava. Rock. ROCK! that's it! sorren started kicking rocks into the lava, it might take a while, but it should work.

"Have... To... Find... Sorren... Before... I am found... by other wild pokemon..." Reo said between breaths. Then Reo heard a rumbling sound, as the floor shook. "Oh no... probably the Gibble's family, GOTTA GO NOW!" Reo thought, scared by what might happen to him if he was caught.
He heard the faint sound of what he thought was someone skipping stones in water.
"Maybe... but then, no, it couldn't be, there was no liquid here, so it's impossi-"
He was hit by- little particles of sand? Reo turned around slowly, and saw the gibble, had started up a sandstorm. "N-no, gotta run, that could be a trap, it could be Sorren, or it could be the gibble's mother, but i have no other choice it seems... GOTTA RUN!"

"OOOOOOOWW!!!" Sorren yelled getting some lava on his foot. "HOT LAVA! HOT LAVA!"

Sorren stood back and viewed his handiwork. There were step stones across the lava. just enough to jump from one to another. But it was scary looking. A stone could shift under his weight and he could fall into the lava. that would be bad. probably not fatal, but bad. However sorren didn't have any choice. There was someone out there that could use his strength, and after all, that's why he wanted to get stronger in the first place, right?

A HOP SKIP AND A JUMP LATER~

"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" Sorren yelled, running full steam ahead. He saw reo being chased by a Gible, Sorren ran right at them, using Reo as a springboard, sorren jumped forward at the gible.

"PIROUETTE!" Sorren yelled spinning in mid air with his legs spread out, using scratch. He must have hit the Gibble five times before losing momentum. The gibble was still up. and that was his most powerful technique. He had to use scratch so many times in fast succession, he was exhausted. And gibble wasn't alone

"OH COME ON!"

Reo was a bit shaken by getting jumped on, but quickly got back his sense of direction only to see that Sorren was gonna get taken down. Reo was frozen with fear. But just as the Gibble's two Ekans sprung, Reo hit them with a Leer, breaking their concentration and stunning them.
Reo thought about what to do now, tackle was too weak but there was Extrasensory... He didn't want to hurt Sorren, but worse would happen if he didn't.
"All right! LET'S DANCE!" Reo used tackle to knock the Gibble into it's minions, and cause extra a little damage. Reo's eyes turned completely white, no pupils whatsoever and his back flared with blue, white, and black flames! "YOU ARE FINISHED FOR HURTING ME AND ATTACKING MY FRIEND! IF YOU MESS WITH MY FRIENDS, YOU MESS WITH ME!" The psychic attack weakened Reo but the two Ekans and the Gibble were gone... Reo nearly fainted due to lack of energy, but had went to check on Sorren.

Sorren was knocked against the wall. He was exhausted, but Mostly ok.

"Man, If you can keep that up, We'll clear this place in no time." Sorren said, wincing a bit. "Sorry I couldn't get here sooner, There was a river of lava, and a burning bush. Don't know why that was significant, but it just kept burning for some reason. Anyway I know where the stairs are, we can rest there for a bit before we move on."

"I wish i could do that again, but I'm relatively out of strength, next floor maybe?" Reo said while panting, incredibly tired...

After a bit of a rest beside the ever burning bush, Sorren and Reo Went to the next floor. Luckily they stayed together this time. Not so lucky:

Crash dodged left and right, weaving in and out trying to avoid his enemy, an Arbok. It's fangs were soaked in poison, so he had to keep moving in order to avoid a paralyzing bite. "Take this!" Crash ran up into the Arbok's face and clapped his hands together, making a loud sound. The Arbok was surprised, and straightened it's body, causing it to smack his head against the ceiling. But that wasn't enough, the Arbok got right back up and attempted to bite him again, "Could really use a heroic rescue right about now..."

"We..(Huff) made... It to... *wheeze*the next floor... finally." Reo was extremely tired and debating wether or not to use a sitrus berry. "Wha-what? Who is that...?" *cough* Reo's allergy was kicking in... "there must be a pecha berry... *cough-cough* on this floor..."
"Hey, hu-who, is that, and why are they fighting an ARBOK of all things?!"
Reo rushed over to help, but had a lot of trouble breathing...

"I have a Plan, Use tackle on me, aim for the Arbok, and keep as still as possible." Sorren said, Getting ready to execute a daring maneuver.

Crash tried to jump out of the way of the Arbok's tail swipe, but got hit in the side. He was sent sprawling onto the ground, "Gah, I guess it's time to do this..." He quickly got up and ran at the Arbok, "Yaaaaaaaaaah!!" his foot glowed with energy as he kick upwards into the Arbok's jaw, knocking it over momentarily. He limped backwards a bit, one of his arms was bent awkwardly and hurt like an hot iron rod was poking it. He held one arm up defensively, and waited for the worst.

"All right Sorren, if you think this is a good idea, i'll go for it." Reo whispered, feeling better
"3, 2, 1, Liftoff!" Reo exclaimed, launching Sorren into the air at the Arbok!

Jumping up at the last moment, Sorren caught The tackle in his legs, and was sent flying towards the arboc.

"BULLET LEG!"

Using Scratch, sorren was able to stab the arboc at high speed, knocking it over. Sorren bounced off, and landed safely. He turned the the mystery pokemon and said: "FINISH HIM!"

Crash stared wide-eyed at the two, "Did you just...launch him?" He was jarred by the Torchic telling him to finish the Arbok off, "Does it look like I have the energy to attack!?" He tried to get up, but quickly fell over. The Arbok must have used poison tail, he thought. He looked around, and found a Pecha Berry lying by his foot, he quickly chomped it down, and instantly felt better. "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!" He yelled as he used another Hi Jump Kick and smashed the arbok's face into the wall, knocking it out.

"Good job, and thanks for eating that pecha berry. I feel a lot better now." "Who are you, and what are was doing here?" Reo was curious, and wanted some answers.
