Pathfinding (Closed)

Sorren walked through the crowded streets, he hated things like this, he kept looking over his shoulder, afraid someone would attack him... or hug him. He had asked a pokemon about where to get some food, but apparently the local cafe was closed. what a shame. Sorren really wanted a slice of pie. After exploring for a bit he decided to take a break and sat under a tree. He had no money, no food, and no shelter. He had hoped to rest his head on something soft tonight, but that wasn't happening.

Jake was walking around town and saw Sorren again. "Hey, Sorren!" Jake called out. "It's me, Jake!"

Sorren's eyes widened. It was the tepig he ran from in the forest. He didn't have time to think, He started running.

Jake didn't know why the Torchic was running from him, but followed. "Why are you running?" Jake asked him.

Sorren heard the tepig yell behind him. He picked up his pace, then tripped. "OW!!"

Jake stopped when he got to Sorren and asked him what hurts. "It it your arm? Or your leg? Or your face?"

"What do you want from me!?" Sorren yelled. he got back up on his feet. "I know I ran, but you guys were fine by yourselves!"

"I just want to be friends." Jake replied.

"What? Why would you want to be friends with me?" Sorren asked, thoroughly confused. "I'm a coward. I do my best to hide it, but you saw me. once the fight was over I couldn't even talk through all the crying. I ran when i saw you because i didn't know what you thought of me running away. why would you want to be friends with someone like that?"

" I want to be friends with almost everybody!" Jake exclaimed. "I only don't want to be friends with outlaws."

"So then i'm just another random person you want to befriend" Sorren said, not amused. "Why do want to befriend random people anyway? You can't be friends with everyone you meet."

"I know." Jake said. "I just want to get as many friends as I can get."

"But what's the point? Making friends is nice and all, but What Is it that makes you want so many?" Sorren asked.

Jake thought for a moment. When he came up with an answer, he tried to think of how to put it. "So I can have many people that could help me." Jake replied.

"Whatever." Sorren said, giving up. "I still don't want to be your friend. Can you tell me where I can find some work? I plan on only staying a couple of weeks and i don't have any money."
