Aphorism Rp SIGN UPS <REVIVAL>

You've just been signed up to a new school due to a recent ability your character has discovered they have: The ability to see a floating island. Not much is known about it, but that's not the important thing in this story. Your character is enrolled in a well known school known to get the success out of anybody! Once your character is signed up and in class, they find out the true goal of the school isn't to graduate, but to SURVIVE. IN the beginning your character is told to write a thing needed in battle, and is told to say it out loud. The thing you've written will become your power, able to summon it only during God's Blight, the school rules say. This is when the island covers the sun and casts a shadow on the school. This is when you're tested, survive and you'll live to see the next day. Fail, and you'll never graduate and breathe again. You'll also need to survive inside regular school as well, create friends, tick off enemies, and prevent yourself from going insane.

This rp is an rp of the manga Aphorism. I've explained a good chunk of it above, so you don't have to read it to rp it. The school is in an entirely different place so it has no connections to the manga other than the same way the school is run. Think of it as an alternate dimension.

RESERVES:

Rules:
1. No godmodding
2. If you want to leave the rp, kill off your character.
3. You have the option to kill your character and make a new one if you wish.
4. When choosing your "thing" make sure it's reasonable, meaning you can't choose "Immortality" and stuff like that.
5. EVERY CHARACTERISTIC MUST HAVE A CONSEQUENCE(in a bad way) for example: Transforming is difficult to control what you change into and when you transform. Fire will STILL burn you if you use it and such.
6. You can do whatever you want with your character(Have them go insane, kill them with suicide and such) but you CANNOT leave the school. A magic force will send you right back(like a revolving door with an entrance but no exit so you have no choice but to go back to the entrance)
7. If someone leaves the rp, a spot is instantly opened back up for anyone to jump in as a "Transfer"
8. If you don't post within 52 days your character will be killed(but in a way for it to be possible for them to survive and come back if you suddenly reappear) you will also be booted from the rp and it will be available to someone else not in the rp

Reserving: Reserving is when you reserve a spot in the rp. So if someone is booted from the rp, then you will be added onto the bottom of the posting list. If you have been booted from the rp and wish to return, you must make a reserve and wait for someone to be booted.

EDIT: Ok, i'm an idiot...you can use the characteristics anytime but the dangerous ones are the only ones against school rules, when being used outside of the blight. Of course you CAN break rules though and get away with it if you're clever.

How "Thing" is used as a weapon: Cathy can produce illusions base on people's desires, but seems to be able to look into people's wish itself.
Thing's consequence: After using it for a while, she begins to lose sense of what is reality and what is illusion/imaginary, and will fight air, or try to attack her teammates, or completely ignore enemies which could be so far it's literally a dot, or practically right in front of her.
Likes: Hitting people....literally, ideas, and science
Dislikes: People who hit on people....figuratively, cold, and math
Appearance: Cathy is neither short nor tall, but thin, has long jet black hair, and blue eyes. She also wears square glasses, and practically anything she can get out of the closet.
Personality: Cathy is rather serious, and harsh, making her have one of the few titles as the Ice Queen The Unreachable One. If she doesn't like you from the start, she gives you a laser-like glare, or depending on how much you annoy her, punch you. She is can be quick to judge, but is actually just, only doing things based on "what's right".
History: When she was little, Catherine was shy and generally quiet, making her an easy target for teasing and bullying. Her parents died when she was 9, her parents died, making her in depression and in reality giving the people more to taunt her with. At fifth grade she finally had enough of it, and proceeded to learn how to deal with the teasing, by giving glares when people went too close, and in sixth grade, when she learned martial arts, punches/kicks to anybody who really annoyed her. By the time she was in 8th grade, she was practically unreachable, which gave her the nickname The Unreachable One. Once she reached high school, guys that didnt know her tryed hitting on her, which caused an unexpected reaction....her hitting them. She grew amused with this, and started hitting any boy who unwitting tried to converse with a girl in a way which if the girl seemed uncomfterable, or if she just got a bone to pick with him. One day she noticed the floating island posters, and shrugged, not really thinking much about them. A few days later she noticed a shadow, when there was no clouds, causing Cathy to look up, and there in the middle of the sky was the island. Of course she panicked and tried not to think about it for a few days, until finally Catherine decided to accept it, and join the school, seeing how it would not only get her a better education in general, get her away from her old life.
Grade Average: has a rather colorful grade, mostly As, and some Bs and Cs

Name: Elyzabeth 'Ellie' Virtue (Elliot Virtue)

How "Thing" is used as a weapon: Ellie is able to summon her dead brother, allowing him full control of her body and mind. Elliot, being an evil spirit, can cause minor changes on the body such as the sudden presence of claws and fangs, giving an oddly demonic exterior. His aggressive behavior can go out of control at times, but this allows a boost in Ellie's otherwise weak attacks.

Thing's consequence: The Link attached Elliot to Ellie's soul, allowing him to be present in her mind at all times. This causes her thoughts to struggle with Elliots, often making her unable to decide her reaction on the matter at hand due to their contrasting behavior. If Ellie ever becomes mentally or physically vulnerable, Elliot will be able to possess her. Ellie's mind must regain its strength and force his soul back to its dark corners, but once it comes to power, she is unable to remember what Elliot had done in her absence.

Likes: Making people happy, Reading, Writing, Sweet food, Cute things, Spirits and Paranormal stories, and the color white. (Fighting, Making fun of people, Causing pain, Destroying things, Violence)

Appearance: Elyzabeth is just a bit shorter for her age and has long, ginger hair that reaches her elbows. Her hair isn't completely straight, having a slight wave and small curls at the end. She often ties her hair with a white ribbon. Her bangs are straight, cut neatly to cover up to the top of her eye brows. She has light brown eyes that can easily convey her emotions.
(Elliot used to be very similar to her when he was alive due to being near-identical twins. He had much darker hair which can also be seen on Ellie when she is possessed by him. Eyes can also darken when he's in control. However, in truth, he's more or less just a demon-shaped fog that can only be seen by either Ellie or 'special' people.)

Personality: Ellie is a very kind person. She's not shy, but does prefer silence over constant chatter. Her generosity can often lead her to being manipulated, but she can easily forgive a person. She loves making friends and sharing stories, particularly those of ghosts and spirits. One can often see her with a book, happily reading away without a care in the world.
(On the other hand, Elliot is a very spoiled and violent child. He's brash and headstrong, always up to mischief. He dislikes everyone except his family, particularly Ellie since she was the only one who could tolerate his aggressive tendencies. His insecurity and envy causes him to hate on the joy of others, feeding off their negative emotions as he resides in his sister's soul.)

History: The twins used to live an average life with their parents. Their father never finished his education, causing the family to constantly move from place to place in order to find well-paying jobs to survive. But other than their financial issues, life was perfect. They would see many places, meet many people, and form stronger bonds with each other as a family.

But their peace was disrupted by a tragic incident. They were heading towards another town after their parents lost their jobs in the previous, but in the darkness of the night, their father was unable to see a car rushing towards theirs. Their father and Elliot were unable to survive the crash, leaving only Ellie and her mother.

Ellie's mother was able to find a stable job, and once she heard that Ellie could see a mysterious floating island, immediately enrolled her there in hopes that she could receive better education. Ellie had developed a strong liking to paranormal topics and rituals, often attempting to reconnect with her deceased brother. He had protected her from bullies in her childhood, and she feared of having to go through this new school alone.

Grade Average: From B+ to A-, Ellie's grades are often unstable due to her lack of focus, more so after the link was created. (Elliot would always have Bs, and sometimes C-s when he refuses to study. Ellie probably could've gotten better grades if it weren't for him.)

How "Thing" is used as a weapon: She moves, and reacts much, much quicker. And Her blows develop a intense force behind them (Phsycics ya' know?)

Thing's consequence:
If she uses this for a extended amount of time, his cells start to decay at a accelerated rate, basically, aging, killing, and effectively slowing his natural healing rate down for a long time. She can recover from minor effects, but eventually the change will start, and never stop.
Likes:
Quiet, Books, Staring off and Thinking, Friends (Shes Extremely loyal to them.) Any type of food except Beetroots, and Artichokes, Also, Intensely Spicy Indian Food, Usually Curry. Fighting for a reason. Girls (Shes Fairly Shy with them. And Normal with Guys.).

History:
She was tied to no-one, being a orphan from her birth, and raised on the streets by a Honorable Old Man (Who she called Papi), who was killed by muggers when she 10. This is when things started to go wrong. At the age of 13, she was abducted by some people for 'Testing' into the field of Child Fighters, she escaped at the age of 15, but was already trained and inducted into their program, at her high-school (she enrolled soon after her escape at a Boarding School.) people avoided her, and make fun of her. Mostly because of her being quiet, or her attachment to a old gray jacket she got from her 'Foster' Father. Later, during her Sophomore Year, she got into a major fight with three people, two girls, and a guy. Beating them up, and getting beaten up in the process of doing so, she saw the Floating Island. After her recovery, she took this to her only friend, the Principal, She was transferred in the following two days to the Highschool of God's Blight, and when they asked her to write down a word, and she wrote down Speed, and said it out loud. So begins her term at the School of God's Blight.

How "Thing" is used as a weapon: He gains the abilities of the animal he chooses, many of which he can use to attack.
Thing's consequence: For a short time afterwards, he will only be able to speak inn the language of the animal he chose, and he will be very tired afterwards.
Likes: Animals, Sweet foods, various meats and seafood, kind people, people who are kind to animals. (I may think of some others later)
Dislikes: People who hurt others (that includes animals), jerks, spicy foods, spinach, artichokes
Appearance: He is a little tall, cocasian, and has blonde hair near cutting length. He wears square, black rimmed glasses. He wears an emerald shirt and matching pants, along with a dark blue cape and matching fedora. He has a scar over his left eye.

History: Miles woke up at age 12. He had no memory except a name. He was in the forest, an was found by a mother fox. The mother fox took care of him, giving him some of the kill when she hunted. He soon learned how to hunt, and due to his larger size, could easily go after much larger game. He shared most of it with his family, who was very happy with this fact. When he turned 13, he venured out into the outside world, got the clothes he wears today, and enroled in highschool, coming back to his fox family after school. One day, he saw the floating island. He asked a teacher about it, and was soon taken to the Highschool of God's Blight. When asked to write down the thing, he wrote "Animal Shapeshifting" and said it outloud. And his term then began.

How "Thing" is used as a weapon: Nathan is extremely resourceful and good at thinking on the fly. He makes the very most out of any advantage he can possibly get in any situation. Sure, it's part luck, too, but some have argued that he was born lucky.
Thing's consequence: Anything Nathan actually plans out and strategizes falls apart so spectacularly that one might say that by the end, the universe is just adding insult to injury.
Likes: Thinking puzzles, video games, winning, helpful alliances, parkour.
Dislikes: Traitors, karma (when it's against him), being mentally stuck, spiders.
Appearance: Nathan's lean with medium length, messy black hair. He's 6'1" and usually wears a hoodie with a T-shirt underneath and jeans with Converse trainers.
Personality: Rather easygoing and snarky, Nathan never passes up a chance to anger his opponents. Despite his love of seeing his competitors angry, he's very loyal to his friends and will go to extreme lengths to keep them safe. Confident, but not cocky, he never gives up until he's completely out of options.
History: Having lived in a city for his entire life, Nathan took up parkour around the age of 12. A natural explorer, he used it to explore areas of the city that would otherwise be impossible to get to. One day, on the roof of a two story building, he saw a floating island. He told his family about it, but they disregarded it. Insistent, Nathan began researching the floating island, as he began to see it all over the place. Eventually, his grade began to drop due to his constant research of an island that supposedly wasn't there.
