Death Note II

It has been several years since the death of Light Yagami a.k.a. Kira. After 20 years of peace and the way things should be life was normal again. But not everything lasts forever. Now a new string of murders are making themselves known. There are rumors of a New Kira. Could it be that there is someone following in Light Yagami's footsteps?The year is now 2025. Wars, and conflict between the country's leaders still continue. As for the Death Note used by Light Yagami, it had been destroyed by Nate Rivers a.k.a Near. Technology has made an amazing change for the better and the worst.(It's much like today's technology.) Or is this some kind of sick joke? Help fight in the name of Justice. The main question is: Who' side of justice is right?

Personality: Sardonic, enjoys his job, and a bit lazy. He rarely gambles, but when he does he goes for high prizes or nothing. He favors candy from the human world, and as only tasted it once.

History(Optional, or just state it in the RP): After losing a bet on who can kill the most people in one try, the other shinigami tried to collect the reward, his second notebook. He refused defeat and fought to keep it, He won. Although in the process dropping the spare into the human world. He leaped down after it, to search for his notebook.
Appearance: Mostly humanoid, he was wolfish ears and teeth. He has small but ruined bat wings on his back. He has long claws and carries a scythe that can expand and shrink, it can only expand to his size though which is a bit shorter than average. It can shrink to near nothing, which causes him to lose it a lot. His hair is a grey mess and he never really cares for it. Has two deathnotebooks. One is a spare. Has the appearance of a 20 year old.

Brief history in Death Note: Contain's Spoilers for the anime/Manga

A young man discovers a black notebook called the death note. He tests it out after reading the instructions. A few day's later he is approached by a being known as a Shinigami. The Shinigami explains the rules of the Notebook. During the time period that the boy was using it, he was killing criminals. This began to rise a suspension with the police. No one know what is happening to the bad people, but they start to call who is killing the murderers, and other evil people: Kira.

The Police are out of options and they are forced to call in a world renowned Detective known as "L". Through out the time the boy, Light Yagami, and L are trying to catch the other. Basic Cat and mouse game.

But in the end Light is the winner. A few years later two young men know as L's Successors, try to find Kira. One of the men dies, while the other confront's Kira and the police that have been helping with the case. Light Yagami was Kira all along. Light gets shot and attempts to flee, however he dies at the hands of the Shinigami that was with him in the very beginning.

History(Optional, or just state it in the RP): Originally brought up in the UK, her family moved to Japan, where they were they were murdered by a trespasser in their house, who was then found innocent. After this she got adopted so she changed her last name. At a young age she was deemed a genius, but never at maths. Her adopted father was an esteemed detective but she hardly ever met him. On those rare occasions he would tell her of his cases, and most of the time she would correct him on mistakes. She ended up respecting Kira, as she had never really trusted the law. She had just found a book (Death Note) on the ground close to her house and taken it home

Name: Akiko 'Aki' Tekehuza

Age: 11

Gender: Female

Quirks: Reading, Animals, Investigations, Disguises

Human: Kira's step sister/ Student

Personality: Aki has always been 'out of the crowd'. Quiet and apathetic, she almost never talks unless she considers it needed. She chooses her words carefully, making sure not to reveal too much or too little. She always preferred animals over humans, always finding them much more tolerable and interesting with their natural behavior and odd tendencies.

She looks up to her father, and hopes to one day continue his line of work. Because of this admiration, she has taken a liking to observing people and odd phenomenon- pretending to be a detective like her father. Even the slightest change in actions can trigger her curiosity, making suspicion a frequent reaction to those she interacts with.

History: Aki grew up as an only child in the Tekehuza household, causing her to have a lonesome childhood that resulted to her quiet demeanor. All in all, she had a very normal childhood. Other than the frequent bullying cases, she considered it to be a decent past that she couldn't be burdened to complain about.

Soon enough, a new member came to join their little family. A foreigner named Kristy was now her older sister. Aki seemed a bit suspicious of her the first week she lived with them, but grew used to it and treated the adopted sister like any other member of the family. Which wasn't much, due to her affinity with solitude and silence.

Appearance: Aki has dark black hair that reaches just above her shoulders. Her bangs are a dull cut, straight and able to hide her eye brows. Her eyes are just as dull and dark as her hair, barely conveying any emotion. She's a bit lanky for her age, and lacks most of the typical feminine characteristics that most girls of her age would have. Because of this, she can easily be mistaken for a boy if she wasn't dressed properly. Not that she minds, for this only allows her to have a better variety of disguises and personas that she can put to use during her little investigations.

Other: She carries around a pet bunny named Lucky.
