Moving Forward, Ever Onward

Somber shifted restlessly as he looked at the Towns boundaries, so many Pokemon in one place. All of them joyfully moving along, happily. Sighing he slowly moved out of the forest into the grass, a small breeze rustling the grass before him. He internally smiled at such sunshine and greenery, although on the outside his mouth remained a solid line, neither going up or down. "So.... Will I move on then? Or stay here? Hmph.... Not that it'd matter much anyway..." He turned shadowy and wraith-like, wisps of shadow curling off him, denying the sunlight almost. Then raising his hand he blurs forward a few feet, before tripping over a Rock, and landing with a 'Thud', knocking him out of the shadowy form, and onto the grassy ground.

Terry cautiously walked in the fields apperently scared by something. "Just gotta go get some berries and head back" He says to hemself. He turned his head to look backward before hitting something with his foot, "Hmm?" He looks down to see the ralts "Are you okay?!" He asks

"Owww....." He looks up to the scared Shinx, "Rocks you know? They lie around all day, but still manage ways to trip you up." He laughs lightly, and gets up dusting himself off. "Why are you in such a panic anyway, on such a nice day like, its meant to be enjoyed, yeah? If you don't mind me prying at least." He chuckles again, his mouth now smiling.

"My mom told me that I should always keep caution when going outside the forest. And yes I know this day looks wonderful. So who're you and what are you doing out here?" He examines the ralts.

"Ah.... Must be nice to have someone that cares for you...." He murmers, then he perks up at the question. "Oh! Sorry for introducing myself, I'm Somber." He happily nods at the answer he gave, being cheerful. "I was actually just examining the ground, since the rock tripped me up, you know? But I was just heading to town, Since I don't have anywhere else to go...." -And I Can't go back anytime soon.- He thought, then looked back to the Shinx. "Now, what about you? Your name, and why are you out here, heading to town?"

He looks at the ralts happily as if he had changed his emotion,"I'm Terry." He says with a smile "I was also heading to town actually." He added

"Ah, its great to meet ya' then Terry! And like the leaves cluster together on a tree, its not too good to walk alone, wouldn't you agree?" He bows slightly, and then nodding at his own statement, starts to slowly walk along the grassy path.

He had a hard time understanding for a short while "I uh...sure." He finally says before joining Somber by walking next to him."How was your life back then?" He asked while walking.

"Eh? What do you mean Terry, back then?" He genuinely sounds confused, he looked up at the sky, the briefest emotion crossed his happy face before he turned his face back to the road. "But if your referring to the moments before we met, I was enjoying a nice breeze, before that rock Tripped me up. And I started observing the ground."

"Well I meant, how did you grow up or what happend during your life?" He says with a shrug "I grew up in a forest, i never knew my dad. The forest got cut down and i split paths with my mom, she gave me a drawing pad when I was younger." He looks at the tiny bag on his back with a smile.

"Ah....... So thats what you meant..." Remarkably, the what seems to be normally happy face, turns dark. "I've been on my own since.... Well, since I got rejected from my tribe..... Guess that was just shortly after I learned to........ -He pauses for a moment, then shakes his head and continues- Well, anyway, I've been wandering ever since that, been chased by rogues mostly, got rescued once too. Guess that's all there is to tell really..." He sighs, puts his arms behind his had, and then laughs away the darkness on his face. "But, dwelling on that isn't really right for me, So I look forward ya' know?"

He looks a bit confused when he was hearing the middle part 'Why didn't he finish?' He asks himself. He thought Somber is acting a bit mysterious but he carried along normally trying not to seem suspicious. "So you lived alone all your life eh?" He asks trotting to thier destination.

He nodded his assent. "Yeah, it wasn't a easy life up to this point. But.... Guess I wouldn't change anything about it either. I like the way I am now." He speed after lagging behind the Shinx, to catch up with his trot. "So, you like to draw hunh? I'm.... Not that artistic I guess, never at the time to try at least anyway..." He asked this question as they drew close to a bend in the road. And beyond that.... The Town.

"Yeah my mom use to teach me, I don't wanna talk about my mom too much, soo I draw in my spare time mostly." He smiles and looks at the path "I guess we are almost there. So what are you doing once we get into town?" He looks back at Somber

"Honestly? I don't have the slightest clue really....." He laughs sheepishly, and shakes his head. "I've been on the road for so long, I guess I don't know what one would do in a town such as this..." He then shakes his head, and mutters something, then brightens up again. "Hey, if you aren't to bothered by this..... Would you form a Exploration Team with me? I guess it'd be better then just being out alone in the forest? Right?"
He looks up at the sky when saying this, so its almost indiscernible to see what hes thinking.
