First Job: I need it for my Collection!

Alex looked at pecha forest. He had never entered this are before...but he has a team now. All he had to do was find the Grass Gummi, and they would be set. Of course, they had no items, but they would find some in there, and Alex suggested going in like that himself, so he shouldn't be worried. Alex smiled, and turned to the group.

"Okay, guys! Looks like this is our first mission! Anyway, I have a plan for this. We need to find an item, so we should split up into two groups. That way, we can find it faster, and even have more 1-on-1 time. Any pair suggestions?"

Oliver ran up to Alex. He was excited, but nervious at the same time. My first mission! But what if I mess it up? he worridly thought. The Cubone blinked. "I guess pairs would be good. But what if a strong Pokémon attacks us? I can't attack, so my pair would have a disavantage. But if we all stick together, we might move slower, but we will be better at defending ourselves." Oliver explained, before adjusting his skull so he could see better.

Rupin walked in. "I think Oliber should come with me if we split up. After all, i have 2 attacks. One of them is pretty powerful, too."

The Cubone nodded. "Alright." he said worriedly, still unsure of his own abilities.

Alex nodded. Oliver made a good point...but he seemed fine with the idea after Rupin's suggestion. He sighed a little, thankful he wasn't the only leader of this group. "That sounds like a good idea, Rupin. Radon, would you be okay pairing up with me again?"

Oliver looked around. Twirling his bone club, he looked at the Riolu. Would Radon agree? He doesn't seem to like being in groups. the Cubone thought to himself.

"Well, which way is each group going to go?"

Alex pondered that for a second, as he stared at the woods. "Well, one group would go down the left path, while the other would go down the right. If there were only one group, we could just choose one of the two."

Radon shrugged. "I'll follow your lead."
He looked left, then right, waiting for someone to decide.

Oliver adjusted his skull. "Maybe me and Rupin can go to the right, and you guys can go left." he suggested, wanting to move the mission forward.

Rupin nodded. "Thats exactly what I was thinking. Lets do it." He began to make his way to the right. "Come on, Oliver. Keep up with me."

"Ok, Rupin! Let's get this mission started!" The Cubone excitedly said as he followed the Mudkip.

Radon nodded and turned towards the left path.
"Let's get going."

Alex nodded. He began walking down the left path, keeping his eye out for any items. But he couldn't help but think...he's been paired up with Radon for the second time now...it's like fate was trying to say something...he shook it off and kept looking.
