| First topic message reminder :- equipment:
Defence scarf → upper part of right arm, like it'll do much anyway... (negates 1 point in pokemon rolls. and some physical hits, which it looks like it shouldn't
Midnight Purple Ribbon → wrapping entire tail except the tip. Not much to say about what it looks like... it's just a ribbon that is linked to the owners aura...
Guild bag → AKA: Purple Kecleon Guild Backpack → for Yooka, its in the shape of a Mini-Kecleon and it seems to be holding on to the shoulders while situated inbetween the mini-ridges Kecleons have. - bag holds:
-Sitrus Berry -(spare)Sitrus Berry -apple -(emergency:) Blast seed -Chipped Grey Guild Badge - - - - -
- energy (10):
25(17Base+8level) - 15(entry cost) =10(current)
[starting type= Normal] A lone Kecleon was walking on a path through the swamp, she'd rather not get into the swamp directly unless she has to. This is one of the few places she doesn't like to be, but there was a rumor that some mythical pokemon was at misty mire in trouble. She didn't care to help the thing, she just wants to see it. She's currently not on a mission so this was a perfect opportunity to see if she can find it. It's been a few minutes and the swamp's path seemed to start to fade, leaving Yooka in a state of anger. Why couldn't there be a clean direct path to misty mire...? She got over the muck as she started to go off-path. It's not as bad as she thought. only minorly slowing her movement. Not many trees to pull out on. She'd hate to get ambushed right now by ferals. Would they be in the same boat as her or would they be able to move unhindered... she shuddered at the thought of a handicap fight. She'd be relying on her ability to recover alot which would tire her out. regenerating cells takes time and if she were to fall unconscious she wouldn't be able to use it as properly. She went tense considering how deep she is in the dungeon. A feral could be anywhere in the muck at any given time. She decided to focus her attention on her surrounding more then her movement forward, ending up moving really slowly. (( - ooc:
I did say it wasn't going to be easy, but it's not actually a true fight anyway. :P we'll have fun as soon as we get it out of their systems. heheheh... σεσ ))

| Goro's lip curled in disgust and confusion. This weird fighting lizard strides into his territory, makes a nuisance of itself, mocks him and baits him into attacking. Then after one little skirmish, it starts talking about how skilled he is and how she's worse than him. But it's oh so nobly willing to go on and take the punishment, isn't it? Goro's fists clenched hard, his frustration turning into disdain. What a crock-show. Act nobly when ya do noble things, ya freak lizard, He wanted to say. Not when you're messin' around other peoples' good homes.
He was still confused by the figure in front of him. Most Pokemon he could peg on how they looked; Croagunks had long, lean arms and poisonous fingers: they were fighters and poisoners. Abras were soft and floated in the air when they wanted to move, and when they fought they shot psychic blasts around, clear psychic-types. Even Pokemon who could fight well at all distances, like Houndour had traits that said so. They had fiery breath and sharp claws and teeth, and strong hind muscles.
But this thing was... confusing. It didn't look very strong, but it just hip-checked him. He had to know more about it.
"Tch. Ya figured all that out after we fell on top o' eachother, did ya?" Goro raised himself to both feet and started strafing to the side, slowly circling the Kecleon all over again. His left and right fists raised quietly in front of his face and torso respectively, tightening and loosening in period intervals, ready to attack or defend if necessary. His eyes narrowed dangerously. "What're ya doin' in my territory in tha' first place, huh? And who are you?"

| Just great... its anger increased but good, it seemed to be level headed after all the anger build-up. When it started to circle Yooka it nullified her tactic of baiting into the tree, but it spoke asking for a how, who, and why. She didn't mind being outclassed if the one she faced was at least not a flat out bad pokemon, these questions made her feel secure enough to ease up on being blunt. "Well I'm not 'actually' sure, but I do think from the way you handled the tidbit of a fight. that you use to be with others. Perhaps either in a guild, as a mercenary, or some form of dojo or clan training."She had to shift her pose to match his movement, ending up just relaxing just her arms, before continuing "As for my name and why I am here and not somewhere else... My name is Yooka, I've been training at the Grassveil Guild for about half a year. I managed to hear a rumor of a mythical pokemon named Shaymin being held by four types of wanted pokemon at Misty Mire, whoever went came back disappointed. Now I see why, getting there just to even see the pokemon proves to be quite difficult."She sighed... She decided to circle aswell, "I ended up here for it was my first time here and I get distracted by new things... I'm also saying you made this day interesting, to me." she had managed to time her movement right and ended up next to the tree, leaning on it as if just to talk. "Your the first pokemon I have ever met that 'lives' in a dungeon that isn't a complete feral. You must be feeling the dungeon's effects on you by now? How long have you-- umm... nevermind, that's something I shouldn't know." Not like I'm going to find out as we keep going.Now to test to see if he can calm down from here on against Giratina's Effects. I may have to go all out now that I have an obstacle and that I apparently pissed him off and somewhat confused him. She doesn't like to be near those who don't understand sympathy on her level, she at least knows she doesn't care and tries to act like she does when she feels like its needed, but it ends up doing just what happened here. This nature of hers gives her the edge over the effects of being in dungeons, but it messes with others in such a bad way. She's tested the dungeon's effects on herself out in Shadowhue forest for a whole season. It only ended up with her being in a drunken state, she only forgot half of what happened and ended up eating some things considered tabuu in civilized areas. The experience was well worth it though. She understood feral life then but she still doesn't know everything about them. - ooc, Site-wide event:
https://pmd-roleplay.forumotion.org/t4904-site-event-the-wake-of-destruction-begins#73500Giratina is apparently in the lead considering it spread some sort of 'dark cloud' over the 'world' {I only put this towards dungeons, and 'dark clouds' to me is just a metaphor and isn't really blotting the daylight} that made these ferals go from uncivilized pokemon to flat out non-thinking feral pokemon {pretty much, a similar case to the fallout series feral ghouls.} Any civilized pokemon who stays in a 'dungeon' too long no longer get wisked away by some unseen force but instead slowly turn into said insane beings... the effects take place between a week to a full month. But it's possible to be immune to it or to be just strong enough to resist it's strength. - Desclaimer!!:
this is literally all the info I can find on this stuff, if you want the full effect or whatever... ask BlueKat. I want to find out it's effects in-character more than out of character.

| Goro's eyes only got more and more unfocused as Yooka kept talking. Dimly, he felt a sense of surprise that she was able to guess that he was an ex-mercenary, but as she explained herself and what she was doing here, he felt less and less trepidation about her. Oh. She's another one o' them Explorers, chasing after mysteries and thrills. Ugh. He was more than aware of how she started circling around him, and he her, but for the life of him he couldn't seem to care about the drivel she was spouting about a Pokemon called Shaymin, and some outlaws and hostages and whatever. Honestly, all he wanted to know is why she was here specifically, and what kind of Pokemon she was. More importantly, any weaknesses she might let slip. His expression soured even further when she started talking about him. - Quote :
- "Your the first pokemon I have ever met that 'lives' in a dungeon that isn't a complete feral. You must be feeling the dungeon's effects on you by now? How long have you-- umm... nevermind, that's something I shouldn't know."
Indignantly, he drew backward and felt another wave of anger wash over him. Me? Feral? From a distance, maybe that seemed true enough... He didn't do much anymore besides forage for food, watch over his territory, and run bouts of his old training regimen. He could see it. But, what was honestly the difference between a feral Pokemon and a normal one? Some of the strongest Pokemon he'd fought were feral, and some of them knew how to fight smart. He didn't expect her accusation to bother him, but for some reason it did." Look. I don't care about your mission or your job, and I don't care about no Shaymin or his hostages or anythin' like that." Goro paused for a moment, studying his opponent in detail, taking in her figure and fighting stance. "I'm still gonna knock yer lights out for treadin' where you ought not to. Hopefully when ya wake up tomorrow you'll know the courtesy of not stompin' in other peoples' backyard." - ooc:
When do you want to face the Pokemon we rolled earlier? And how? Do you wanna team up or do you wanna have them pause fighting to dispatch them quickly?

It'll be hard for a team up but I had tried for that. Perhaps this fight ends up attracting them and the two end up surrounded too concentrated on each other. Yooka would look past the situation and instinctively protect him in her own way. She's excellent in team fights. 1v1, if not friendly, she's a cheat. dirty tactics over fair play {foul play just fits xD}
The croagunk's response triggered Yooka. He understood but he doesn't care. mmmrr... sure sure... You can definitly win if I played fair."Have it your way. I'm done being nice. Time to show you what I learned over the course of my life. Nothing's fair. im feeling a bit of foreshadow, but what about you?" As she spoke she gripped the tree in her left hand and left foot and literally went around the tree similar to a stiffened mankey, however she wasn't use to trying this. She had to use her ribbon-wrapped tail to grip a higher branch to stabilize any mobility that would of sent her off-track more often then normal for she was heavily straining on knowledge of their ways. While she announced the word 'foreshadow' she sent her shadow towards the croagunk in an attempt to get him moving. If he doesn't move closer to the tree he should be hit, for she concentrated on behind him and his back. When she was behind the tree she cloaked which her custom backpack did aswell, but she knew her belly pattern from the front and sides and the moving branches gave where she was. However, he probably has no idea if she was on top or the bottom. Well, unless he could see the pattern. She had to keep moving behind things to keep him guessing. and finally, once she reached the top-most and decently durable branch she instinctively started her regeneration ability, she's not feeling like taking this lightly, unless he gives up. she smirked to that thought, would he? She couldn't quite tell if her previous attack even hit. she sent it and left, It took only half a minute. He's probably in the tree with her... So she went silent. Pretty mediocre sized tree in height but its enough for obstructed distance.- ooc:
Yooka knows many different things due to being a Philomath but she never studied fighting styles, due to how she dislikes it. She's just now learning that she'll need to fight more often being in a guild, doing guild missions. The fight with the mega-sableye and Alolan Marowak was in a similar situation to Goro vs Yooka right now {except the intruder wasn't as pacifistic}
it was Inside her and her father's house. She ended up using items around the place just to manage to injure them enough to escape. She faints once in the fight and gets protected by plot armor convenience.

| Goro didn't care much for mid-fight banter. At all. Most of the time it was braggarts trying to intimidate people way stronger than them, and the rest of the time it was kids trying to sound cool while they were fighting. And both were annoying. But he did feel a sense of foreboding when the strange Pokemon in front of him announced she was done messing around. After all, she was at least decently skilled when they scuffled a moment ago, so her getting serious meant he might be in trouble here. And her odd jab at the end didn't sit well with him. Foreshadowing... what does that even mean? He started forward when she suddenly jumped up the tree like-- like some sort of monkey Pokemon, what was this lizard thing?!-- but knew, immediately, that he wouldn't follow her up there. She had to be confident to surge up the tree that quickly, and he wasn't keen on getting smacked out of a tree and onto the ground. He felt a dull anger that she was running so quickly, but he knew it was foolish to follow her. Instead, he turned his head this way and that, looking for something to use to get her back down on the ground, where he was more comfortable. Ugh, just muck and grass. Nothing I can throw. Goro let himself be distracted for only a moment, looking for a tool to use, when suddenly a ghastly presence made itself known behind him. He turned to meet it quickly, letting loose vicious fists, but they sailed right through it-- a shadow? I don't understa-- and it slammed into him with a considerable force, sending him flat on his behind. "Augh... ow." The pain dulled quickly enough, but it was still a surprising attack. He rose from the ground after a moment in a daze, shaking the pain from himself visibly, looking quite cross when he stood. I knew it. No way this thing fought with fists. Instead... shadows. It didn't hurt too bad. But it was fast.Goro turned to the tree angrily, striding towards it. He wasn't confident fighting so far up, as the fall down would hurt, but she was asking to get hurt. Badly. But the Croagunk still took a moment to observe the tree, trying to get a sense of where all the branches were before he would leap up to them. I'm coming for ya. Freaky lizard.- ooc:
I like that idea. Let's go with that. The fight will attract all of them, and they'll get surrounded. Maybe they could even come to peaceful terms afterwards, since they fought beside one another.

| She couldn't quite tell where the croagunk was, infact. None of the leaves didn't make a sudden sound, besides the whisper of wind. She decided to send down another shadow focusing it at just the entire surrounding ground of the tree. if he's still on the ground this'll get him up. She couldn't see anything below her besides a couple branches down. It's a decent warning view but she saw how fast he can react. By the time she sees him, he would notice her movement. I'm literaly going to have to do a spray n' pray tactic!? mmrrr.
she sent another down towards a random spot on the tree. mostly to move a branch, but it may break it instead, if he's in the way it'll feel more like a shove, which could be good but it could be bad, she didn't want to kill him. He doesn't seem so bad behind his anger. She thinks he's similar to her in being minorly apathetic but for different reasons. Seems he likes to fight, and hates or at least doesn't take kindly to the unknown. She perked up instantly, not physically. In that aspect, he's just like my friend! Mr. E! She nearly squeeked thinking about him being like Layl Ee!{I went there. σωσ}
No longer paying attention to sound due to her thoughts being on her childhood friend. She was just more concerned on not seeing where her shadow's going and how 'that' was a big risk in a fight, she has to wait for it to send it again, but it's quick and it was her second best move before her family TM. She sent it again for a third time at another random spot slightly higher and decided to open her bag to remember what she brought. What She saw made her smirk but then suddenly frowned. I brought this for if I met one of the four. This is overkill on the croagunk... she thought as she put her bag back on while holding the blast seed. She slipped it back into the bag when her shadow reappeared, reminded that someone was coming.

| Goro scowled hatefully up at the tree for a moment, hating the fact that he was fighting on her terms. In a simple world, they'd have just had it out right where they met and that would've been that. But instead, he had to discipline this Kecleon, with its freaky shadows and hit and run tactics. He was deliberately not putting thought into what the shadow attack really was; probably some kind of dark or ghost move. If it was a psychic attack, he'd have been floored by it. But it was strong enough that it could've been a ghost move, or maybe it was a really strong dark-type attack that he resisted. He wasn't sure, and hated that fact for a moment. Fleetingly, he considered simply punching the tree but gave the thought up as quick as it came. Not that strong. Yet. Someday.But when Goro saw another shadow writhing across the ground, his poison sacs inflated and he croaked angrily. She knows I'm here! Can she see me? He could have taken another hit, but there wasn't a point. He hoped to himself she hadn't had the time to set up a trap, before finally climbing the tree to avoid the shadow. In two leaps he was able to land on the first branch, safe from the shadow on the ground. Goro tested his footing cautiously, slowly shuffling across the branch. Seems steady enough. A little wobbly. Cautiously, Goro ascended the tree branches, searching for the pale green lizard he'd fought with earlier, but to his frustration, he couldn't seem to spot her. And she hadn't had the time to flee; he would've seen or heard her abandon the tree. Where are you? He switched tactics to observing the tree itself and the ground below him. If he couldn't find her, then he'd wait for the shadow. And there you are. Predictably, the third shadow came surging towards him from above, traveling down the length of the tree. He braced himself for impact, watching the impending shadow nervously. Gotta take it. Then follow it back if it doesn't just disappear." Nngh!" Less surprising than last time, Goro took this hit much better, and managed to stay on both feet, barely swaying under the weight of the blow. And quick as a snake, when the shadow raced backwards, Goro was hot on its tail, only pausing cautiously between leaping from branch to branch in pursuit. Looking up, he noticed the shadow return to a space of... nothing. There was nothing there, it just vanished, under some invisible weight. There were a few leaves scattered around a space where nothing sat, but-- wait, were those markings? In the air? - ooc:
Is that a fine way of him finding her?

| [energy recovered:pitiful 4, just to be instantly used anyway. lol] - ooc:
Shadow sneak is similar to that narito anime's shadow possession jutsu, just far wider and quicker. however, due to shadow sneak stated. It could be used for a lot of broken things... but I stay simple and focus on that jutsu style, just without the hand signs.
If I didnt go simple one of the ways could be to dilute it to cover a huge portion of her surroundings just to hit an opponent. it's literal only weakness is normal types or someone faster than it. {diluted is the only word I can think of... expand just makes it seem like it doesn't lose power, which would absolutely make it broken}
As for speed, yes, she no longer paid attention to the noise, so by the time she started to pay attention... 'HELLO!'
The instant Yooka looked down to send another shadow sneak. She noticed the Croagunk was right under her branch. Looking right at her. She couldn't think. Except, when? She didn't move however she looked around. Perhaps she should distract but He's staring directly at her. Does he see her? Probably the pattern or did he follow a shadow back and is now wondering where it went. She tree went dead silent when they both froze staring at each other. However, Yooka noticed a noise close by from farther below. back at the base of the tree. What was that? That wasn't him, he's right there... She couldn't think clearly of her surrounding, just too focused on his image. Should I send another to break his branch or send it off to distract... She didn't act. She no longer felt like going serious. He's just doing what he thinks is needed. She pushed to hard to his multiple warning. She ended up smirking. This risk was worth it. I'll just take what is needed and deal with it.- ooc, Yooka's natural passive strikes again... maybe... lol x3:
- God-send Luck:
Very helpful or valuable event, person, or thing. •Ever since 'night walk'. I figured If I roll something that could fix a situation that was happening, or just came up, or even was about to happen. The rolled item or pokemon could fix the situation instead of Yooka or perhaps nudge yooka into fixing it. making it seem like it was by some divine luck. Especially if the other RPers are fine with this by some extremly bizarre reason, lol.
I'm pretty much one of those peeps who take 'oh my gawd' but instead of just saying it normally. the word gawd get intense and high pitch really quickly, followed by an explosion of some sort. This moment just fits. {literally realized what was occuring right now} but the thing is... will she get that luck? (btw 'god-send luck' is 'perfect luck' in D&D only a 20 from a d20 can break it. but this isn't D&D so I had to put some thought in how it could work... I came up with... it only works if everyone agrees. xD It doesn't have to be now but it gets more and more apparent as we post. This is the 8th post on page 2. That leaves 7 more posts till page 3. It'll should happen at or before then. give take a post into page 3 if bad timing.

| "Tch. I 'kin see you!" Goro's fist glowed brightly with white energy, the attack move Drain Punch forming in his right hand. He blurred into action, stepping forward hard, his shoulders and torso turning quickly, putting his body weight into a hard right hook aimed the area he figured Yooka's head to be. He was confused as to why she didn't move or drop her camouflage even. She could dodge, of course, if she was paying attention to him. To say his oppononet's actions confused him was an understatement. When he found her she just sat there, those strange markings on its body before present in the invisible air. Had to be some kinda camouflage, maybe she had to sit still to do it. But did she think him so stupid that he wouldn't notice anything?! He chased weird shadow attack all the way up the tree and it just waited for him. Maybe it took something out of her, and she was immobile. Maybe she couldn't use the shadow and the camoflauge trick at the same time and still move, or maybe she just didn't see him coming. Either way, he knew she was capable enough, from their scuffle on the ground moments earlier. Don't make no sense, either way.- ooc:
I don't know if another Pokemon at the base of the tree would distract Goro from his fight, honestly. Maybe afterwards if Yooka takes the punch or dodges it, but Goro is very much in a battle mindset right now, and unless this fight came to a decisive end he wouldn't pay attention to another Pokemon (unless it was attacking him).

| {starting type: Fighting} The croagunk seemed to have missed the noise for he acknowledged her spot and jumped for an attack. The branch snapped from his jump but apparently both Yooka and the croagunk didn't pay attention to that, Yooka only noticed the move, He's doing the same one. She quickly went from questions to instinctual defenses when the attack approached quicker than anticipated. She didn't drop her cloak when she tried to move, however the punch ended up landing on her shoulder and she fell off of the branch from the impact. Her tail already had a grip on the branch closer to the trees trunk and she now took a grip on the arm that attacked her with her other hand, holding it near her chest in a way that could be described as a death grip. Yooka wasn't in control of her action, she just felt like stopping the arm and it just happened. She thought that he seemed to be going for the kill instead of an average blow and If that attack landed where it was going... she only spaced out. she spun in the opposite direction of the arm she held him in, with the added momentum of the impact to try to get him over the branch quickly. She finally realized that she could just recover if she fell and he probably couldn't. She just didn't feel like letting go of the branch and she couldn't bring it to herself to let him go either. Her grip on him and her tail were oddly weak despite both being bind. She finally uncloaked when she couldn't do anything, just ended up stareing at him in a rather dissatisfied and semi-confused way. "You 'trying' to kill me? I dont 'want' to go 'that' far."{ending type: Fighting} {ending status: Normal Poisoned} - ooc:
I feel like I missed something...
found it. Goro could of grabbed the branch aswell, but considering its one of the top-most branches, it has to be bending quite a bit.She does work best under extreme pressure. - pretty much Yooka's personality wrote:

That's more because it isn't 'her' but more of her subconscious.

| Goro's brow furrowed confusingly as his punch collided with something much harder than a cheek or jaw. Decent feedback, but not the cleanest punch, he thought, a bit of health returning to him. He stared intensely at the seemingly empty area in front of him, and the moving markings floating in the air. It could move at the same time as it was camouflaged, then. But then why did it just watch him bound forward and attack it? Did her shadow attack render her still for a moment, or was she simply not focused on the fight at hand? A surge of indignation welled up in him at that thought. If she wasn't taking this seriously-- if she wasn't taking him seriously, then Goro might get really angry.
Ironically, he was too engrossed in this own thoughts to react when an invisible hand seized his forearm harshly, and he was caught on flat feet, totally surprised when something jerked him hard to the side, and his feet caught against each other clumsily. Before he knew it, he was swung off the side of the branch, toppling off the tree dangerously. Darn it, I knew I'd get chucked off this tree!
But the invisible Pokemon still had a hard grip on his arm, and instead of falling down to a lower branch or even a harsh landing on the ground, his fall stopped abruptly in the middle of the air. But he was too far gone for her to have reached, even if she bent over the branch. He stared confused up into the air for a moment-- to his eyes, it appeared he was just simply floating, if not for the powerful grip on his wrist-- until suddenly, pale-green skin faded out of invisibility, and the Pokemon from before was hanging dangerously off the tree, his arm in her hand.
Oh. Oh. It made sense, now-- he'd knocked her off the tree and she simply caught him, trying to take him down with her. But she'd changed her mind, or even did it unthinkingly, catching onto a different branch with her tail.
His face crumpled sourly at her words, letting out a croak of embarrassed resentment. "I didn't figure' ya'd throw us off the tree, ya crazy lizard! Now, look whatcha did!" His legs kicked at empty air, trying desperately to find ground beneath him. But the ground was too far below for him to land safely, and he'd have to swing off of her to find another branch. And that would probably throw her off the branch she had held on with her tail if she even let go of his wrist.

| Yooka expected a little less salt then what he gave but she she sucked it up as he was right. She could've just dropped herself or let him go huh...? heh... She groaned at the strain from holding both of themwith her tail. She meeped in disappointment. She looked at the croagunk. "Well, I didn't exactly think it through ok... and I can't exactly lift us both with my tail, but yea... thanks for the idea... which now you may not like it." She looked past him towards the ground as she talked. thats at least 7 meters... shattered legs for me. Not bad... nearest branch would snap if even he fell from this height gaurenteed. gotta try though. She looked back at her tail, the branch didn't look like it'll hold from a swing and she 'was' losing grip. She sighed and closed her eyes. "Don't do anything. Let me take it."She let go with her tail, instantly spinning herself over then under the Croagunk taking the branch right off the tree in an attempt at a grab, "Fudging knew---!". unfortunately, that was the only branch between them and the ground, she didn't even pay attention if he was still above her. The only reason she went underneath was purely incase that grab failed. She braced for impact and activated recover, mid verbal cursing. landing on her left side wasn't the smartest of idea's as she completely blacked out. 'Recover' was already doing work though, but really slowly. She was immobile and pretty much looked dead aswell, if it wasn't for the fact the ground was far softer then she expected. swamp land, mushy and very squishy. hard on a quick impact but very fine if laid on. She didn't break anything when she made impact and she was still breathing. - ooc:
She may be very perceptive and nimble... but she doesn't do 'everything' right. :3
aka: she can be a spontaneous idiot.
I don't want to say this could be a genetic thing but....... just look at 'what' Yooka's mother is. xP

| " Whaddya think yer doin'-" Goro's shout was cut off, turning into a very alarmed croak when Yooka suddenly let go of the branch she was holding on-- the branch that was supporting them both, is she crazy-- and tried to grab another one below them. She either fell too fast, rotated too quickly or their combined weight was just simply too much for it to handle, because the branch snapped almost immediately as she latched onto it. She'd used an impressive aerial maneuver to position herself below him to reach the branch before he could, and now she was falling below him. Goro couldn't do anything but fall just as helplessly as she did, watching as she hit the ground hard beneath her. Abruptly aware that he was about to land right on top of her, causing serious injury if the Kecleon wasn't already seriously hurt, he flailed his arms wildly and tried to roll mid-air, slightly moving to the left. He wasn't an aerial fighter by any means, and it showed. Still, he managed to move slightly, and instead of landing on top of the Kecleon who showed up a bit of mercy by not letting him fall, he landed directly next to her, their shoulders jostling roughly when he came down hard. He'd thought to land safely somehow, turn over midair and use his limbs to cushion his fall, but all thoughts stopped abruptly when his back slammed into the ground, air being driven from his suddenly empty lungs. The back of his head hit the dirt floor hard, his vision suddenly flickering worryingly. Goro gasped for breath but made no noise and nothing seemed to come. Stars started to spot around his vision, close to the edges. He lay there flailing weakly, trying desperately to fill his lungs with air, but he had no suction and lay there helplessly. A weak, fleeting thought occurred to him-- am I about to die?-- and his chest tightened painfully. He was surprisingly worried about the Kecleon he landed next to, not for her health or well-being, but if she had landed better than him, or recovered quicker than he did, then he'd be entirely at her mercy. And he didn't show her much of that, when they were up in the tree. - ooc:
He'll be out of it for a few moments. I figure a fall like that would take a least five minutes to recover from.
As a side note, this might be a good time to fight those Pokemon. They're suddenly weak, after all, and she just extended an olive branch that he might just take.

| Yooka awoke with a sharp ping in her side. She was laying on her arm. The only sound coming from her was the suction of the ground when she jolted. Mud covered half her body and she was already wiping it of her face with her good arm as she bolted upright. Other than the pinging sensation on recover doing its job she felt a little winded. However she was expecting something that didn't happen. The croagunk. Wasn't he supppse to be ontop of her? She looked around, did he just leave her there? no... he was laying on his back just a couple feet away. Her head suddenly went dizzy, probably from the sudden income of nerves and pain finally registering. She tried to shake it as she opened her bag and pulled out the spare berry. He more than likely doesn't know recycle so make this count. She struggled out of the muds grip and shoved the tip in his mouth pretty lazily. Her arm felt like it was weighed down, but she knew it was because it was asleep. she used her other arm to guide it better. She left it there for she didn't trust herself to force feed a potential unconscious being. When she finally relaxed she heard a bunch of noise from the swamp. She literally groaned knowing it had to be another pokemon. Not now... She looked around but only noticed nothing but swamp and marshland broken by a couple trees and dry pockets. The noise didn't come from one source but at least four. She focused herself to see if she could use any attacks. She could send a few more shadows but not enough for all of them... she slapped his knees to send some pain to his head. Register that your alive dang it. get up. I'm going to need you. She coughed oddly. As if she'd been poisoned. Did a rib not heal correctly? She felt her body as she noticed a pokemon peek its head. Just a tiny poliwag. She felt nothing broken, but she coughed more when she laughed at the appearance of the tiny pokemon. {used 1 'Sitrus Berry' on Goro the Croagunk.} - ooc:
The dizzy effect, asleep arm, coughing, and the like isnt because she weak from the fall. its from his poison stopping her regeneration. She can still activate recover to heal the bigger stuff, which she did. she just cant passively heal the tiny wounds like the bruises and numb feelings. You know what I mean? ever put dry sea-salt on a gutted fish then stick it in a freezer. thats poison to her recover's regeneration, till it goes away.
Im also practically forcing your character to have a sitrus berry. I only need 2 for a future thing. I have wayy more than enough. plus you can make more rolls :P

| For a few good moments, it was all he could do to close his eyes and cope with the pain flowing through him and absence of air in his lungs. His chest tightened painfully when he tried to inhale a few moments ago, and his vision was blurry and full of stars. It was alleviating slowly, but the wait and pain was agonizing. He felt something that was shaped suspiciously like a berry enter his mouth, and he reflexively chewed and swallowed without thought. Almost immediately, he felt the pain start to subside and a surge of new energy burst through him. He croaked irritatingly when he felt a sharp slap on his knees. He suddenly rose upwards in a sitting position, inhaling without care or thought, and took in the sight of the Kecleon next to him. She was scanning the horizon worryingly, her bag opened thoughtfully and she looked to be looking for an attacker. But I'm right here. An' she gave me the berry. What's she lookin' for? He thought to ask her, but decided against it in case she was angry for him and wanted to fight some more. - ooc:
Sorry for not posting for a bit, there. There was a small ice-storm that passed through my city, and in all of my infinite wisdom, I spent a good bit out in there in the cold. Got a bit sick for a few days, but I'm all healthy again.
And hey, thanks for the berry. I'll start rolling again once we deal with the rest of these Pokemon. Do ya wanna fight all of them at once, or just the one Poliwag? We rolled quite a few on the first page.
