Defence scarf → upper part of right arm, like it'll do much anyway... (negates 1 point in pokemon rolls. and some physical hits, which it looks like it shouldn't
Midnight Purple Ribbon → wrapping entire tail except the tip. Not much to say about what it looks like... it's just a ribbon that is linked to the owners aura...
Guild bag → AKA: Purple Kecleon Guild Backpack → for Yooka, its in the shape of a Mini-Kecleon and it seems to be holding on to the shoulders while situated inbetween the mini-ridges Kecleons have. - bag holds:
-Sitrus Berry -(spare)Sitrus Berry -apple -(emergency:) Blast seed -Chipped Grey Guild Badge - - - - -

25(17Base+8level) - 15(entry cost) =10(current)
[starting type= Normal] A lone Kecleon was walking on a path through the swamp, she'd rather not get into the swamp directly unless she has to. This is one of the few places she doesn't like to be, but there was a rumor that some mythical pokemon was at misty mire in trouble. She didn't care to help the thing, she just wants to see it. She's currently not on a mission so this was a perfect opportunity to see if she can find it. It's been a few minutes and the swamp's path seemed to start to fade, leaving Yooka in a state of anger. Why couldn't there be a clean direct path to misty mire...? She got over the muck as she started to go off-path. It's not as bad as she thought. only minorly slowing her movement. Not many trees to pull out on. She'd hate to get ambushed right now by ferals. Would they be in the same boat as her or would they be able to move unhindered... she shuddered at the thought of a handicap fight. She'd be relying on her ability to recover alot which would tire her out. regenerating cells takes time and if she were to fall unconscious she wouldn't be able to use it as properly. She went tense considering how deep she is in the dungeon. A feral could be anywhere in the muck at any given time. She decided to focus her attention on her surrounding more then her movement forward, ending up moving really slowly. (( - ooc:
I did say it wasn't going to be easy, but it's not actually a true fight anyway. :P we'll have fun as soon as we get it out of their systems. heheheh... σεσ ))

[Equipment: N/A] [16 energy - 0 (Home Dungeon) = 16 energy]
Had anyone else been at the site, the view of a lone Croagunk prowling through the muck of Cattail Marsh was not at all uncommon. Many Croagunk chose to make their homes here, and almost all of them were indeed feral. But that was not to say that the Marsh didn't see its fair share of intelligent Pokemon, as in order to reach the Misty Mire, passage through the Marsh was necessary. And this was why this one Croagunk, in particular, was marching angrily through the muck of his habitat, a tick on his forehead and a hairsbreadth away from snapping at the next thing to look at him funny. I thought I'd be alone here. But no. Goro curled his lip awfully, his teeth bared, arms held loosely at his side and fists clenched lightly, ready to strike out at the first feral to jump out at him. He'd made his home here a fortnight ago, finding a pitiful sight in an old, abandoned shack tucked deep into the marsh, hidden in the middle of an admittedly small stretch of trees. He'd been delighted at his discovery and quickly repaired it as best as he was able; clearing the area of debris and patching up what he could. He'd busied himself in making a home here, and not a day later did he wake up to discover an entire team of explorers stomping through his marsh. I thought tha' Marsh would be great, but I can't catch a wink a' sleep, here.Goro was many things, and paranoid was one of them. The thought of anyone strutting through his metaphorical backyard just didn't sit well with him, and he couldn't help but think that at least some the travelers passing through the Marsh to the Misty Mire were up to no good. And so he immediately set out in establishing the area around his shack as his territory. Most ferals wouldn't come close unless they were feeling bold, and this part of the Marsh was deep enough that most travelers didn't make it this far, or found their way to the Misty Mire before that. So he was naturally suspicious. Anytime he left his shack he was on edge and today, he was particularly angry at his failure to find a place more secure. And so it was, silently fuming and striding through the muck without any difficulty, did Goro hear the suspicious sound of someone else in his stretch of the Marsh. Wait... what is that sound? Slush, slush, slush, slush. Goro crouched low in the water, prepared to beat back any ferals stalking him. He was frustrated, and anticipating the fight. Is there-- someone else is here? Are they watching me?

| The swamp was far more empty then she thought was possible. Was there some sort of deadly pokemon scaring off most others from this area. She can see how that could be a good thing, being alone was far better then being with someone who can slow you down. However, that also means she's in a serious area. If the place is indeed scared off because of one pokemon, then that pokemon must be powerful, or at the least skillful.
She stopped upon hearing a noise other than her own. It was faint, but she couldn't quite tell from where. She started moving closer to the nearest tree, she's better off out of the muck and in a confined area. Something was definitely off. Ferals wouldn't be this quite when it comes to these situations. This had to be a pokemon that is somewhat civilized. She looked around for some kind of hint to this and noticed a group of trees in the distance a few dozen meters, maybe, definitely seems like a place to hide. Better stay away from-- She heard the noise again but yet again she couldn't quite pinpoint where.
Despite heading in that direction she needed to get to the closest tree to get her movement back. Not quite close enough to reach it she had to focus on her surroundings again for the noise was pretty close. Not good, It's probably one of the four wanted pokemon holding that mythical pokemon. But they're not suppose to be here... mrrr. Let's see if they can be rational... "I don't have time for a fight. Your obviously not feral. No need to hide." Almost there.

| Goro moved very, very quietly, his senses alert and suspenseful, his heartbeat steady and strong. He waded through the muck efficiently; as he lived there, he was used to the water halting his movement and knew how to minimize that. But even if he didn't make noise, the water and the muck did, and he suddenly cursed his lack of foresight. As a Croagunk, the surroundings of Cattail Marsh were comfortable and luxurious, the humid and damp surroundings making for extremely relaxing spots. Not to mention that when the firefly Pokemon lit up, it looked very beautiful. But what use were beauty, comfort, and luxury when you were being stalked? Attacked, even? He was frustrated at his mistake, but it truly didn't occur to him to pick a place that would be very secure, as he always lived on the move before striking out on his own. Oh, well. One learns as they lived, he supposed. The tense atmosphere did absolutely nothing to calm him down, and he felt a sudden fury for whatever it was that thought he was an easy mark. Either he was facing off against an experienced, intelligent Pokemon, or a particularly powerful feral. But he never saw a feral that would be this quiet. What to do-- what to do? High ground, he decided. But the Marsh was mostly flat. There were no hills or cliffs to fight from... still, he had to get out of the water. That was clear. Goro submerged himself mostly underwater and crawled slowly towards the closest stretch of land, which happened to have a tree on it. That's where he would make his fight. But then he heard a voice. - Quote :
- "I don't have time for a fight. Your obviously not feral. No need to hide."
Goro tracked the noise quickly, and his eyes narrowed dangerously at what he saw. Some kind of-- some kind of lizard, wading through the water towards the same tree he was. Maybe a grass-type or water-type Pokemon. Pale-green and stout, with arms and legs, a tail and all kinds of markings. Who... what is that Pokemon? He didn't know all the different kinds of Pokemon-- he only knew some, three dozen or less. And he'd never seen something like that before. But it could be weak. Most small grass and water types were weak, and that was his guess-- grass-types were green, after all. I can beat it. I think. It's small, still. So it's weak.Goro rose out of the water quietly and decided to announce his presence. His legs were spread slightly, his fists raised threateningly in front of his face. He inflated his poison sacks and croaked loudly.

The first thing that popped into my head was hit's stance in dbs... hit vs vegeta {https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ze4_V-s17o4}
lol
It only took a few moments till suddenly a Pokemon popped out of the swamp water giving out a rather loud noise, or she only heard the loud noise she didn't know when it decided to come out. It didn't effect Yooka except give it's position away. She took this as an opportunity to do it back, or try to. Literally swinging her whole body to stare straight at it, giving it an angered 'meep', but she ended up chuckling at her own attempt of intimidation noises. "I'm sorry, heheh, but I don't get startled as easily as some think."Looking at it's stance shows it knows a thing or two of fights. much more than Yooka, but perhaps she has a head start and it doesn't know what she is. She certainly knows what it is due to some Guild stuff, a croagunk. However, it only tells her of what it looks like. not how it fights or techniques. She knew no moves that would be effective against it, except maybe bind. but that's her weakest move, next to astonish which never seemed to work. She started to wish she had her family TM right about now, the fight probably wouldn't even last a minute if she had it... It was closer to the tree than she was. which proves to be a problem. This must be the one that scared off the others, but that's a bit surprising. She can't seem to see how this kind of pokemon can do so much. Perhaps it's working under some other pokemon. That makes sense... Assuming there are more she looked around while doubling over her thoughts and went serious, "There's no need to go all out. Is there something about this place I should know?" doubt it'll listen, it looks pissed. Perhaps it 'is' a feral, just much much more adapted. That could prove to be a bit difficult to handle normally, mmrrr. There's not going to be a way to avoid this is there...?(( - ooc:
Apathetic practically nullifies emotions... She'll only show it if its to something she's interested in. She's not interested in fighting, but she was interested in her failed attempt.
Similar to how i'm more of a re-actions kind of roleplayer, Yooka wont ever pull the first punch. Unless she's absolutely angered. (What Yooka did was not an astonish attempt, but it could be taken as it if you want.)

| Oh. Right. It talked, before. It didn't-- okay, so it's not wild. Goro blinked at the strange Pokemon in front of him, momentarily stunned. Despite the fact that it talked twice already, it didn't occur to him until now that he could make peace with the intruder. Then again, there was no reason for it to be here; unless this Pokemon was lost or hadn't found a way to the Mire yet, it was unlikely it'd make it this far into the Marsh. Or-- scratch that, the only reasons for it to be here were distinctly bad reasons.
Then again, it was a Dungeon. They were notoriously known for being difficult to traverse, and things like directions and distance always got distorted in places like this.
"Yeah, there's somethin' ya ought ta know alright. This stretch of tha' Marsh is mine." Goro scowled fiercely, pointing one finger accusatorily at the uninvited Kecleon. His voice was hard, and he looked clearly furious with his visitor. "And I don't much appreciate you stompin' through here like ya own the place. Beat it, before I decide ta beat you."

| What it did next gave Yooka the biggest smile she usually never does. Did the Croagunk just talk...? and say the part is 'His'...? So he is alone!heheheheh, His speech though seems to be a bit poor ...perhaps... She clapped only once while smiling. "I'll change my mind about finding that mythical pokemon. Perhaps I can help 'you' with that pent up anger. I'm curious as to why you'll be aggressive in protecting this place."Yooka never received a point of veiw from a half-feral before, or pretty dang close to it. This will be her first 'if' it complies. She was still moving to the tree during this and ended up next to it when she finished talking. If it doesn't answer and follows up on the threat, she'd still be fine with attempting the knock out. She planned on taking it on anyways. Perhaps it'll like a friendly fight than a real one. | Mythical what? Everything this strange Pokemon did only served to confuse him more and more. It ventured to the Marsh completely alone, it looked like. It was smart enough to realise that Goro was in the area, and searching for him. It seemed unflappable. He knew the Kecleon didn't know where he was, but even when he snuck up on him the creature was barely even surprised. It was decidedly not feral, even if it did seem content to fight. And now it was talking to him as if making pleasant conversation; speaking about mythical Pokemon and asking about his territory-- was it trying to make him angry? Goro tracked the Kecleon angrily as it backed up to the tree they were both gravitating to, and his lip curled when it spoke next. - Quote :
- "Perhaps I can help 'you' with that pent up anger. I'm curious as to why you'll be aggressive in protecting this place."
It was asking to fight him. Goro felt indignation and anger swell up within him, and before he knew it he'd strode right out of the mucky water and onto the same plot of land that the Kecleon and the tree rested on, a few paces away from Yooka. His fists were clenching and unclenching of their own volition, and Goro knew that while this creature was asking for a beating, he also... really needed this. He'd had a long day, and beating the snot out of this uppity traveler would be extremely satisfying. Perhaps he'd even calm down afterward. But, first... "Fine. Fine! If yer so keen on stickin' yer snout where it don't belong..." Goro exhaled loudly, keeping his fists raised in front of his torso, and started circling the Kecleon in front of him. He calmed himself and raised his head resolutely, ready for the fight to come. "Maybe I ought ta break it. You'll learn yer lesson." - the sunset hero carried out 5 launched of one Cattail Marsh :

Short paragraph for tight actions... fear my miniscule posts, lol. also, just realized your moveset and ability. heheh, this is gonna suck. for both of us. Yooka can outlast him due only to level difference but she'll be beaten down like a nub. He has basic knowledge but advanced fighting skill, while she knows advanced knowledge but basic fighting skill. Also she's full-sized... thats pretty much 3 feet - this is the only information she's allowed to know outside of direct conflict:
Category: {insert the obvious image here} Toxic Mouth Type: Poison, Fighting Ability: Dry Skin, Anticipation Weakness: Ground, Flying, Psychic Evolves to: Toxicroak Height: 2′ 4″
Yooka didn't know any fighting technique to a very good degree. She's a strategist with no natural strategy. She hates to fight and ends up only running to set-up an ambush with traps or be cheap and use items. However here, she'll stay and try her best. Seeing the Croagunk start to circle she only raised her fists like a boxer. but she crouched as if to jump straight at him. Croagunk are far better jumpers and she knows it. She's just assuming he knows everything she could attempt and he'd fall for it. Her over-all idea is to block whatever he's gonna send and bind him to the ground, if he attacks ranged, dodge out of the way into the tree where she'll have the upper hand. "Whenever your ready."

| Nothin' ventured, nothin' gained.Goro stepped forward quickly, one fist cocked back at his hip and glowing faintly, the other held loosely in front of his torso to deal with any resistance this strange Pokemon had. The Croagunk's clenched hand gave off a dim illumination, and he could feel the energy forming beneath his knuckles. Drain Punch his Pa used to call it; Goro didn't know a whole lot about Pokemon and how they interacted, but he knew how some of them fought-- he knew their attacks. He understood how to hurt other Pokemon, and this attack, in particular, had a tendency to leave him feeling refreshed when he hit with it. Not that he needed the pick-me-up. Goro was fed, watered, and had slept not five hours ago; he was in top condition and ready to brawl. He did have reservations about charging forward against a Pokemon he knew almost nothing about, but he was confident in his means of violence. Unless this was a psychic-type or knew a psychic-type move, he could take punishment. And so it was that Goro surged forward, shoulders and hips turning, torso twisting. His Drain Punch attack rocketed forward from his hip in a crude, three-quarters uppercut tearing straight for the Kecleon's head. - ooc:

That's the kind of punch he's throwing. And it's also a Drain Punch.

You watched that show too!? oωo I didn't expect that! The way the opposing boxer attempted the block was exactly what I thought except Yooka is crouching rather than standing. You'll see.
Careful with 'move description' references from anime's... fighting techniques are fine like what you showed but how a move is displayed isn't consistent. power-up punch works the same way. which would scare the crap out of Yooka btw, but I'm one of the few who don't mind. xD
The pokemon shifted its arms and seemingly sprang forth. Yooka noticed it's hand glowed white not orange and it's arm was facing the sky, not an uppercut but a drain punch in the form of an uppercut. She wouldn't be able to block this the way she is, but that's what she wanted. Just before reach she lowered her arms and leaned back a bit but kept the crouch. She deflected the attack higher barely missing her head. Any lower and that attack wouldn't have been deflected. She followed up with grabbing the hip and lunging into the pokemon. A basic attack. She's seen authority figures do this quite a bit, try to restraint to the ground then bind the arms... however theres quite a bit of time between getting grabbed and hitting the floor due to both persons still standing, then that into arms being bound. A high skilled fighter can easily get out of this but an average person would more likely cringe on all impacts. However, she felt weaker health wise from the attack. She knew how drain punch works, sense its fighting type she was weak against it majorly. She'll have to recover after this next hit. If he uses the same attack again she'll be ready for it. {ending type = Fighting} {"poison touch" chance = Fail} - ooc:
Poison touch failed so her deflect was successful in a sense but drain punch has 100 accuracy... Hitting her arms in the deflect gives him the heals. but he's full anyway so it doesnt do much. energy wise its more powerful than recover which should be the opposite way around... increase your energy by half your max energy. while recover is recover half the level. https://pokemonshowdown.com/damagecalc/ {I'll insert remainingHP% here... unless you just wanna yolo this. xD} - hp%:
Yours has initiative drain punch → Yooka now has 53%{16/30} HP remaining. Yooka follow-up basic(5 over-all power, 5 damage minimum, no type) → Your poke now has 76%{16/21} HP remaining.

Let's yolo it. Using damage calcs for RP fights is complicated since a lot of attacks can be deflected and some only graze, plus there's damage that comes from other things, like basic attacks. As long as we're reasonable it won't be a problem.
With his left arm currently thrust to the sky and the other returned to his hip, Goro couldn't do anything but grunt when the lizard Pokemon seized his hip. He was surprised; the strange Pokemon-- he'd never seen anything like this thing before-- didn't look like a physical attacker, what with its small legs and larger head. But it seemed to have knowledge of basic take-downs. Probably not a psychic-type, he thought as the Kecleon checked into him, sending him off-balance. Most psychic-types he'd seen fought never did their battles physically. Rather, they hung out from a distance and fired special attacks at their opponent. This Kecleon did the opposite, he realized-- it baited him into attacking first and tried to ground him. But Goro wasn't opposed to a fight on the ground, as he suspected that he was physically more powerful since the Kecleon wasn't willing to meet his Drain Punch head on. Quick as a snake, Goro stuck his foot in between the Kecleon's legs and tried to hook his foot around hers and pull, so that when he fell to the ground, he'd bring her with him. Unbidden, his other hand dropped from his hip and fell towards the ground so as to steady his fall and minimize the damage. - ooc:
Also, does Kecleon change colors when its type changes?

Ok, yoloing, we're on even terms, just exp determines the winner, which would now probably be him. lol.
as for 'color change'... That's what I thought reading the english wording. No, it's suppose to be 'Adaptable body' but 'adaptability' is pretty much just that. 'Color change' is one of thse confusing mistranslations that couldn't be fixed. Otherwise it's just an excuse to be arceus-like, lol. Kecleon's get cloaking unrelated to that ability so I just, don't, get it...
Also I can't quite see the scene, but I think I get it. I don't know which leg it was but I'm going with 'you hooked the left' {50-50}
Yooka thought that the grab would catch him off-guard but it didn't. She didn't think things through, she's only seen this work on average criminals, not a full fledged fighter. When the pokemon hooked her leg she panicked quickly releasing him in a shove just to flow with the motion, ending up laying on her back and side. Her bag stopped her from hitting her ridges but with her leg in an awkward position near his, she tried to pull away while sitting up to stand up. Too much wasted time, fudge!- ooc:
I couldn't think of something, so she couldn't act that great.

Well, we'll see how it goes lol. I'm not opposed to losing or even a tie. She is a lot smarter than him after all...
And I think I got it. No color change, just unrelated cloaking.
Goro had fully expected to fall to the ground while pulling his aggressor down with him, but his opponent thought quickly, and instead of falling on top of him she shoved off and fell to the side, awkwardly out of reach but not out of sight. On the other hand, he was pushed down even faster, and harder than he expected. His breath caught in this throat as his arm failed to slow him down enough, and he felt a surge of annoyance at his failure. Instead of sinking his Drain Punch in his opponent's face, she'd avoided his attack and grounded him. Worse yet, she wasn't close enough for him to wail on. Nothin' to be done. On yer feet and try again, Goro. The poison-fighting hybrid rolled to the side after he fell, not towards the Kecleon to press the attack, but instead away from his opponent to gain some breathing room, and quickly took a knee. His breathing was unlabored, and his fists rose reflexively to cover his face just in case she recovered faster than he did. Just took a fall, that's all, I'm alrigh'. She probably got spooked, though.

This was a surprise, she expected him to be ontop of her after she fell but that wasn't the case. He rolled away and got up into another stance ready for another round rather quickly. She was on her feet looking at him with a smirk when he was just getting into his stance, Oooh, he's good... "No wonder this place is vertually vacant. You are indeed a skilled fighter. Respectable." However, she frowned... I don't think I can win this, I am definitly stronger but he just out-classes me. Yooka took a step back while shaking her head stateing "You're definitely better than I am. However, I 'am' willing to continue. I'll take the punishment I deserve as payment for this lesson. Getting back into the same half-stance as before but this time leaning towards the tree instead of him. This time If he uses the same move, I'll be able to determine a better route.
