» Personality: Alkere is adventurous, lively, and carelessly brave. She trusts easily and, although she might not act it at first, she forgives even easier. She doesn'’t forget when she’'s been wronged, but if someone truly regrets what they did, then she isn'’t going to hold on to it forever. Most likely, this is her optimistic nature speaking, but she believes that even the most twisted criminal, with a lot of time and effort, can be redeemed.

Most know her from her confrontational, unflinching attitude. She fights every battle she can, even knowing there'’s a good chance she won'’t win. There are a couple of reasons for her fondness of fighting, but the biggest one is simple: She finds it fun. Add in her confrontational, stubborn and hotheaded behavior, and Alkere tends to get in a lot of battles.

She'’s smart in some respects, dull in others. She'’s good at thinking on her feet, coming up with unique battle plans on a moment’s notice, as well as generally thinking outside the box. She can dream up unique solutions to problems that your average Pokemon may ignore. On the other hand, she isn'’t good at reading people, and when you add in her forgiving nature, she’'s very easily deceived. She doesn'’t pick up new skills very quickly, either. For example, it'’ll often take her some time to get the hang of a new move.

But, most of all, the small dragon type is a dreamer. She dreams of flying, exploring new places and conquering evil. It’'s almost as if life is one big storybook to her, like the ones she was practically raised on as a small child. Her largest dream is for her to be one of the heroines who is passed down through the ages in the forms of myths and legends, her fearless exploits remembered long after she'’s gone.

» Likes:
- Myths and Fables
As mentioned before, Alkere heard many stories when she was younger. She lived a rather sheltered life, and was among the last children to realize they were false. Even now, she'’ll gladly sit down and listen to one of the fables that inspired her to become an explorer, not caring if anyone thinks it’s childish.

- Evolving
Personally, she can'’t wait to evolve. Shelgon seems fine, with it’s nigh-unbeatable defenses, but turning into a Salamence is the real prize. An awesome, flying, fire-breathing dragon that can mega-evolve? Why wouldn’'t she, or anyone want to be that? One unfortunate fact is that evolution is a long way away for her, meaning she has a lot of fighting and exploring ahead of her.

- Fighting
Alkere simply finds fighting to be fun. Though she doesn'’t necessarily go out of her way to spark conflict, this is her go-to solution to stopping it. Another plus is that it lets her grow stronger, and that means she's getting ever closer to evolution.

» Dislikes:
- The Needlessly Cruel
Alkere is a forgiving Pokemon. If someone truly regrets it, and is willing to go to great lengths to prove they’re sorry, then she can almost always forgive evil deeds done in the name of status, wealth or power. But there's one breed of Pokemon that just perplexes her. Those are the ones who are cruel simply for the sake of causing harm, not for any kind of personal gain. Part of her struggles to comprehend them. They'’re the kind of criminal she hates the most, and the ones she'’s most eager to fight.

- Cowardly Pokemon
Being the reckless, impatient Bagon she is, she grows annoyed quickly at cowardly Pokemon. Maybe it’'s inconsiderate of her, as she doesn’'t generally feel much fear (although she definitely has her moments. She’'s foolishly brave, not unshakeable). But when someone tries to chicken out on her, turning tail at the sight of any trouble, she can’'t help but grow annoyed at them.

- ‘Biased’ Pokemon
Something about how a good number of Pokemon dislike a certain type, or a certain species of Pokemon, honestly bugs Alkere. It simply doesn'’t seem fair, to judge someone based off of what they were born as. This is more of a pet peeve of hers, and she doesn’'t hate these people as she does the cruel and cowardly, but learning this about someone would probably lower her opinion of them a few notches.

- Rain
The little Dragon type just doesn'’t like rain. Whether it’s a light drizzle or a thunderstorm, she doesn'’t enjoy a single thing about this kind of weather. It lowers her visibility, it makes her Ember attack fizzle out, not to mention how dreary it makes everything look.

- Spicy Foods
Maybe this is a little ironic, as Alkere could be considered something of a hothead, but she dislikes hot, spicy foods. It'’s by far her least favorite flavor, with her favored flavor being sour.

» History: Alkere was born in Aileron Village to a Salamence and a Dragonite. In her early years, she lived a somewhat sheltered lifestyle. Both the Salamence and the Dragonite were new to being parents, and didn'’t realize they probably spoiled their child a little too much. For better or worse, it was here, listening to stories day in and day out and playing pretend with her toys, that the Bagon made a resolution to herself. She was going to be a hero, like the ones in her stories. If that didn'’t work out, well, she’'d settle for helping all the people she could.

When she was still young, her family moved from Aileron Village to Grassveil. Alkere was a bit sad to leave her home behind, but she was also looking forward to their new destination. She wasn’'t sure if she’'d be accepted into the Aileron Guild, since she wasn'’t able to fly. But in Grassveil, it was much more likely she'd be able to join the guild. Needless to say, that was a positive for her.

It’s been years since Alkere and her parents moved to the new town. At the moment, she'’s started to travel through a couple of the nearby mystery dungeons, hoping to get a bit more experience before joining the guild.
