The Princess and The Peasant Empty
PostSubject: The Princess and The Peasant   The Princess and The Peasant EmptySun Feb 15, 2015 5:25 am

Victoria sighed, looking at the perfect territory she had claimed for her kingdom. She had been quite a distance outside of the boundaries, for her territory had been stolen from her by another tyrunt. She was too weak to fight it, and whenever she stepped foot into her territory that tyrunt would attack and driver her out with its massive strength. The darkly colored tyrunt could only stare, trying to figure out what to do. She had finally made it back to the Black Spear Mountain Range, but she had no knights. She had no allies, no subjects, no protection, no offense. She was just her, she could do nothing.

It was not too far off, perhaps on the other side of a mountain within the range, that a tropius was walking along. He was lost, hearing that tyrunts had lived within this area. He looked around for the princess, not daring to call her name in fear of attracting unwanted attention. He sighed, just what was he supposed to do? How was he to find her?

In the same area, just getting past a valley leading to the mountain a certain tropius was on, a zorua was trying to navigate his way through the mountains. He was supposed to AVOID dangerous places, yet the first place he'd managed to wander to seemed horribly dangerous. He hadn't come across anything threatening yet, thankfully, but that was probably due in part to him doing his best to remain out of sight. Not that that was too difficult since he blended in with the general dark colors of the area fairly well.

As he climbed the mountain, Firseir thought for a moment that he saw something green on a pathway above him. Hurrying to investigate, he made his way up, the shortest way he could find....which happened to be scaling the mountainside by hopping onto protruding rocks. He wasn't too worried about falling, as the stable floor he had been on prior wasn't too far down. As he reached the higher path, he confirmed that there was a green thing. A big, green....thing. He wanted to get this thing's attention, to see if it was friendly. It looked friendly, at least. It appeared....to have some kind of fruit-beard. Were the fruits edible? His questioned needed answering.

"Hey!" He shouted before ducking behind a rock, hoping to hear a response. Then he could transform into this thing and mimic its voice, have a little fun with it. If it responded in a sane manner, of course.

The tropius blinked, hearing a voice not too far off. He looked in the general direction of the Zorua, wondering what that noise was. He knew that it was deifinitely a voice, but he was not sure who or where the source was. He turned towards it, waiting for it to either repeat itself, show itself, or remain silent for so long the tropius would get bored and leave, which would probably take quite a large amount of time seeing as he did not really have anywhere to go.

Victoria looked away from her stolen kingdom, there was nothing there and she likely could just go off and choose a different area, but the point was that she had failed to defend her kingdom. What would happen if it had villagers in it? What if they had been brutally slaughtered? What then? If she could not defend her kingdom, then she was not fit to be queen. However, she would not give up. She just needed to strategize a bit more, perhaps get some help.

Upon not hearing an answer, Firseir decided to check if the strange green thing had even seen him, but not before mimicking its image. Starting from the top of his body and lowering quickly, his body began glowing a rainbow variety of colors. In less than a second, his entire body was glowing a rainbow hue, followed by a brief flash of light. In place of a zorua, there was a tropius with an identical appearance to the one he'd seen briefly previously.

He stepped out from behind the rock, revealing himself to the green thing, awaiting for it to speak before replying. He needed its voice in order to be a perfect mimic. In order to have its voice, he'd first need to hear it.

Veriq merely stared as a mirror image of himself stepped out from behind a rock. He blinked once more, confused by the sudden tropius. He watched the mimic, and remained silent. He wondered if it would attack, he waited. Patient as could be, he had time. He didn't know if this was hostile, but he was ready to sit here and wait for it to make a move. He could absorb nutrients from the sun, the only worry he would have is water. Waiting was no problem for a grass type.

Victoria wandered about, growing closer to the silent duo unknowingly. She stared at the ground as she walked, trying to come up with an idea, but she could only think about how she had failed her future kingdom that was probably never going to exist now.

Firseir mimicked the big green thing the best he could, moving to be in the exact same pose as it, blinking when it did, doing anything he could to seem like a mirror image. Though apparently it wasn't in the mood for talking. If he talked first, he would give himself away! How was he supposed to get this thing to talk without giving himself away? He waved a paw in greetng after a bit, which appeared as him waving....what ever the stumpy things the green thing had were, hoping to elicit a verbal reaction.

The tropius watched as the other tropius seemed to mimic his actions. The two having a bit of a stand off before the other one eventually waved with its stumpy leg. He gave the other tropius a strange look, before waving with one of his leafy wings rather than dealing with the difficulty of using his stumpy legs. He watched the copy-cat, waiting for it to do something else.

Victoria could only sigh as she moseyed along, unable to think of the best course of action to take. She needed knights, but it was not like knights grew on trees! She wondered how the heck her great great however many greats grandfathers started up the kingdom. It was rather stable, but how did he manage to even begin? Starting a kingdom was hard...

This was proving to be very boring. Firseir decided to just skip the jokes for now as it clearly wasn't playing out how he'd hoped. The mirror-tropius lit up with rainbow colors as a ring of rainbow light seemed to wrap around his head and lower down his body, seemingly erasing the illusion until all that was left was a zorua. The light then faded so he could be clearly seen. "Hi." He said with a wave of his paw, deciding this thing didn't really seem aggressive. It seemed fine to try to talk to it, though he still wasn't sure it knew how to talk.

Veriq continued to stare, unsure of what sorcery had just occurred before him, "dafuq?" he spoke at last, "Did I eat something bad?" he mumbled, staring at the zorua that had once been a tropius. Did this thing just evolve? De-Evolve? No couldn't be de-evolution, otherwise he would know of this and been born like that. What the heck was this?
"Uh...Hi..." he responded.

Victoria meanwhile was growing closer, sulking at her lack of being able to control her own kingdom's grounds. With every moment she took one step closer, making almost an absolute beeline for the trickey Zorua and confused Tropius.

Firseir giggled at the green thing's confusion. "I'm a zorua. I can poof into things." He tried to explain as simply as he could, feeling relieved in knowing the green thing could talk.
"My name's Firseir. What are you?" He questioned, still not knowing what this creature was. Surely, there would be many creatures in the future which he would have similar difficulties with, not knowing what they were. This was likely just the first of many.

"I'm a tropius...Veriq is my name though..." he spoke, the confusion having been cleared. This was just a normal ability of the pokemon, not some black magic or evolution. The tropius raised his head high and decided to ask the small pokemon a question, "Say, you wouldn't have happened to see a Tyrunt around here would you? Small, refers to herself as a princess, perhaps a bit sassy?" he asked the zorua, hoping he could get some kind of lead as compensation for the waste of his time.

"Tropius, Veriq...." Firseir muttered to himself, to help him remember the names. Then the tropius continued to speak about a....tyrunt? "Hmmm....Nope, but I can help you look for her if you want!" He offered in the hopes of making up for not having any useful information. Maybe he could even make a new friend today. Or maybe two, if he was lucky and they found who ever Veriq was looking for. Maybe if the fruit beard on the tropius was real, he could even get the big guy to give him one of enticing fruits....

"Please, I don't even know if i'm in the correct place however," Veriq sighed, looking to be obviously depressed about this. He looked about, spotting something in the distance, he could not recgonize the species of the pokemon, it looked to be a tyrunt but the color of it was completely different! His eyes narrowed, "Looks like we have some company...wonder if it's as friendly as you..."

Victoria finally looked up, to see a rather large looking pokemon with a black spec next to it. She came to a stop and blinked, wondering why the large one looked familiar. She eyed them, wondering if the two would attack. The tyrunt hoped not, she needed to save her energy in case the male tyrunt attacked again.

Firseir directed his gaze to the same area the tropius had looked to, spotting the thing he was referring to. "Well, there's only one way to find out." He responded before taking a step forward and shouting. "HEY! ARE YOU FRIENDLY!?"
He likely wouldn't have been so willing to shout at this thing if it was bigger and he didn't have a giant with him, but both of these things made him a bit more confident.

Victoria eyed the strangers suspiciously. One had called out to her and asked if she was a friendly kind of Pokemon. She was unsure of whether or not to respond or ignore them or keep moving. She mulled it over for a moment before shouting back, " Only if you are!"

That voice...Veriq was sure that he had heard that voice before! He squint ed at the tyrunt. It certainly didn't look like the princess?
"I...think that is who I am looking for...I'm not sure.." he whispured to the recent acquaintance he had made. His leafy wings shook, wondering if that was the princess, just what had been done to her!?
