| Noel missed with her uppercut as she spins around and sets her feet on the ground landing with a soft thud as she turns around to face Lumina with one hand up, she then smirked and waited for lumina to attack she didn't have a plan but depending on what lumina did Noel would be ready | |

| Lumina had managed to stop herself before she fell into the water, the waves gently lapping at her paws. Deciding against putting herself in danger, she crafted another small orb that levitated a short distance away from her face, which travelled towards the Lucario in a zig-zagging pattern. Running towards Noel probably wouldn't end well, this much the Vulpix knew. She had the advantage as long as she could keep her distance. But, for now, her only two ranged moves were Confuse Ray and Fire Spin, and the Lucario had just proven that the latter wouldn't work very well. | |

| The Lucario narrowed her eyes why would lumina try to charge the fighting type without her flare blitz, whatever was happening Noel knew it was most likely a trap this was a perk from fighting your friend as while lumina made the zigzag she ran right through the middle landing back where lumina was | |

| (I meant that the Confuse Ray was going in a zig-zagging pattern, not Lumina, but no worries. We can make that work.)
The Vulpix skidded to a stop once more, not kicking up as much sand this time because she hadn't had nearly as much momentum. She fired a Confuse Ray at the Lucario, which hovered towards her in an erratic pattern, zooming up and down, left and right as it hovered slowly in her direction. Lumina figured she'd have a great opening if she could manage to confuse Noel. | |

| Noel landed near the water as she turns to face a ball going around in a pattern she could not identify, she looked around then back into the water she used quick attack to get out of the way almost getting hit by the ball, but luckily do to the erratic pattern when it was about to touch Noel it flew off into another direction, with a small sigh she got away from where she was and faced lumina with a smirk on the Lucario's face | |

| Lumina sat down, forcing a calm expression in contrast to her friend's smirk. The vixen summoned forth a purple glow which surrounded her body, a clear sign that she was getting ready to use Payback. "So, Noel... you going to fall for the same trick twice?" She challenged, curious to see what the Lucario would do in this situation. If she attacked her, then Lumina could strike back, possibly with a much stronger move. And Noel still only had physical moves, to her knowledge. | |

| Noel sighed if she was going to get anywhere with this fight she would have to do it when she wasn't using that attack, Noel looked around slightly trying to think of what to do then she looked back to lumina with a smirk, "what can I say call me a fool" Noel said as she went as fast as she could and dragged her arm down as it glowed with a large blue power, if she could land this powerful blow and knock lumina away she wouldn't be able to use payback | |

| Lumina braced herself when she saw Noel rushing towards her with her arm glowing a bright blue. She just needed to take the hit without fainting, that couldn't be too hard... and then the impact came, sending her falling across the sand. But the purple glow only seemed to glow brighter, and the orange vixen pulled herself back to her feet, rushing at the Lucario while they were still close to each other. Normally, being at close range would put Lumina at the disadvantage, but maybe it would actually help her in this case. | |

| Noel threw her arms up she had a shot for something but only if she could endure what she just did, she places her feet on the ground and holds as the impact come causing her to slide on the sand but other then that she seemed to be fine, close range was always a bad place to be with Noel as she held her fists up and attempted to strike the vulpix down | |

| The Payback attack hit it's mark, but the Lucario had managed to knock her away in the process. Feeling a bit dizzy from the impact, Lumina once more tried to form a ring of fire under Noel's feet. Sure, she could get through her Fire Spin attack pretty easily, but it would hopefully buy the vixen a few seconds. She paused, backing away as she tried to catch her breath and get back to her feet once more. She wasn't feeling her greatest, and if Noel was started to get worn down by all of this, she was doing a good job hiding it. She weighed her options, for now only trying to get out of close range with her opponent. | |

| Noel saw the flames and smirked she was starting to get tired but she was not going to lose, before the flames reached the max speed they could go she shoulder bashes through the flames right towards lumina, Noel was not going to give her a second to rest as she fires another force Palm at the Vulpix going low so she couldn't duck it | |

| Lumina tried to duck the shock wave that the Force Palm created, but this time Noel had predicted that and aimed lower. The Vulpix bit back a yelp, trying to focus. She narrowed her eyes, trying to find a way to figure out a way to win this battle. She had fought against Noel so many times before, she should've known all her tricks. She should've been able to come out of this victorious. The Fox Pokemon wasn't completely sure why she felt so competitive over a spar, but she didn't have time to think about it. Her fur glowed orange and lapped with fire as she lunged at the Lucario, trying to hit her with Flare Blitz, deciding to make the best of being stuck at close range with her. | |

| Noel stumbled back as she stood waiting for the attack as the flames came closer she spun around on her heel going to her side avoiding the attack as she jumps backwards, unlike last time she did this there was not a tree for lumina to run into but Noel was ok with that, she looks over and runs over using her speed to catch up and throws a sky uppercut at her side | |

| The Vulpix tried to stop her momentum once more. Maybe Flare Blitz wasn't the best idea, both times she had tried to use it Noel had managed to dodge. Then again, 'run at them' rarely turned out to be a good battle strategy for her. The Lucario caught up easily and hit her with a Sky Uppercut, and Lumina fell against the soft sand. This time, she didn't bother getting to her feet, not immediately anyways. Her side hurt where she had gotten hit, and she overall just felt sore from the battle. After a moment she heaved herself back to her feet, planting her paws firmly in the sand as she tried to fire another Confuse Ray. It might be her best chance at this point, as much as she disliked using luck to win her battles. | |

| Noel looked as the Ray attempted to hit her she made a motion to dodge but this time it had hit her, she stumbled slightly vision changing as she slowly started to try to get a grip, she then thought of something a last ditch plan as she switched her normal sense to her aura which helped her see what was going on everything was more clear as she stands tall ready for any attack. | |
