moonlight berry hunt

The wind rushed threw the trees of the forest, creating lots of creepy and unsettling noises. The cape of a young Riolu fluttered in the wind his hood up his aura vision active as he scanned for pokemon in the immediate vicinity. " Remind me again Micheal why we came out in the middle of the night to go hunting for berries?" Shaman barked in an irritated tone. He knew full well that it had been a group decision on the part of them both but it was still late and he was still grumpy. He pulled his cape tighter to his body as the breeze gave him a chill even with his fine blue and black fur.

"Hm? what was that Shaman?" Michael poked at Shaman as he slid the card from the pile under the eight. "Six of Zapdose." Michael read the card aloud as he placed it down on the pile where it belonged. Michael glanced around to check if anything was lurking in the night. "Good thing I have fire. I'm not sure how we'd play this in the dark." Michael turned back to Shaman, "Your turn."

"Yeah kinda gives away where we are though you know." He added, the thought suddenly creeping him out a tad. He flipped hi hood up turning on his aura vision before sliding out an ace of Zapdose from the pile. " You think it's a little unsafe sitting around playing cards in the middle of the forest?" He questioned the wisdom of there choice but he had no intention to stop he liked games too much.

"I don't think many things in the forest would want to mess with anything related to fire, so we should be good." Michael explained. Michael looked at the cards and drew from the correct pile. "Looks like Queen of Articuno." Michael placed the card and looked at Shaman. "You know why would it be a queen? Like why would a card have a representation of royalty?" Michael pondered the question, in hopes to engage in some type of conversation with Shaman. After all, staring at piles of cards without talking gets boring rather quickly.

I suppose he's right we'd be in far worse trouble if we were in the frozen mountains or stream area. Shaman reasoned as he listened to Micheal's query and flipped a queen of lugia and placed it ontop of the pile that Micheal had just played on. Someone is gonna get a second draw with the queens soon we just got two in a row. Shaman reckoned as he replied to Micheal. " I don't know I guess that 11 12 thirteen were over rated. The thing I don't like is they use the letter A instead of like I don't know a one?!"

"I guess the number one is overrated." Michael jousted. He moved his hand over to the queen pile and drew a card. "Queen of Zapdos." Michael placed the card down. "I don't think you shuffled this very well Shaman, that's three queens in a row." Michael looked from the pile of queens to Shaman as if he was waiting for some other type of game to come about. "Not like it matters, Cards are always unpredictable. You can never know what to expect. Unless you count cards." Michael blabbed on trying to fill the void with some type of conversation.

" I mean it was a new set of cards." He said in reply as he start to flip his seven of Moltres. " That's troublesome and takes a lot of effort." Shaman complained as he took off his cloak and sat on it the hard ground was hurting his but so we made the change. " I mean if only there was a casino near grassveil we could pick up some poke." He said regretfully.

"Well a casino isn't exactly the best place to go if you want to keep your Poké." Michael replied. Michael drew the last queen. "Queen of Moltres." Michael finished off the queens. Michael picked up the next card, seeing as he completed a suit. "Eight of Zapdos." Michael placed the card in the correct pile. "I do believe it is your turn now."

" Yeah but you just-" Shaman was cut off as Micheal told him it was his turn he grimaced slightly then tried to pick up immideiately trying not to show they he hadn't been paying attention to where he played and didn't know what pile to pick from. He quickly deduced from seeing the queens that he had drawn twice and then pick up on the eight and proceed to grab the next card hoping he had done it fast enough for Micheal not to notice. He picked up a nine of Lugia and placed it in the correct pile. " Oh yeah like you said we could count and just accumulate small amounts over time." Shaman reasoned.
