The Cycles

The night was dark as a trio of teens neared the lab where a pokemon research center resided. The group mumbled between each other and constantly shushed each other as they made their way towards the window.
"Who's going to go in?" a masculine voice asked.
"I'm not!" A feminine voice snorted.
"Then why are we even here?" another female voice snorted, "If we're found here, we're DEAD. You hear me? My mom is already mad enough to keep me out of the house, do you really think I want another month added on to her anger?" This particular female had the name of Paige, she was medium of size, had blonde pixie cut hair, and two silver studded earrings. The group wore dark clothes and were sneaking about, the other two teens were her friends, Finch and Hinya.

"They have pokemon, and all I-I Mean we, have is a Drowzee and Paige's Froakie,Oshawott, and that black and white thing" Hinya huffed.

"That THING is a Tanussion, and Tawn and the others have names too!" Paige hissed in defense of her pokemon.

"Whatever, just go in and get us some pokemon!" Finch huffed.

"I'm not going in-hey! What are you doing!" Paige began to speak only to be interrupted as Finch grabbed and held her arms behind her, stepping back far enough so she could not back kick him in the groin. Paige looked in front of her, demanding the meaning of this to find a drowzee's hypnotic eyes and chant taking control of her.

Her struggles grew weaker until she stopped struggling at all, and she was under a complete hypnosis. She was a mindless drone now, as she opened the unreasonably unlocked window, maybe the lab was a little TOO trusting, and stepped in. A bag was tossed in after her, and her two "friends" guarded the window entrance for any sign of someone coming while they awaited their minion to get them their prize.

Paige made her way through the lab, searching for the pokeballs that held lab pokemon. She could not control herself, nor was conscious of her actions. All that mattered to this mindless robot was getting the job done by any means necessary.

Paige checked on her pokemon, which all seemed to be untouched, before returning all but the litleo. The litleo tilted its head and looked at the purloin with interest, giving off a small rumble of curiosity. The purrloin looked at the trainers, but didn't seem to be hostile. It seemed rather annoyed if anything.
Paige looked to the purrloin, "what are we going to do with it?" Paige asked bluntly, not answering Reese's question about her pokemon.

The purrloin looked to the trainers, wondering if it should run or stay. It never had liked its trainer, since they had always hung out with that fool and never really was the good trainer it had wanted to train under.

"We could take it to the pokemon centre," suggested Reese, "Maybe they can help locate those guys and send it home or get them to release it. After all no one else can catch it until it's original pokeball is destroyed or it's returned and released," she frowned. Ryuu blinked and looked curiously at the Purrloin. He wandered over to the feline pokemon as if to say hello.
Noxigua stayed where it was. content enough not to know what was happening or who the Purrloin was.

The purlloin merely blinked and looked at Ryuu as if to say, "What do you want?"

Paige looked at the purrloin, "Judging by how its not running after them it doesn't seem to look as if it WANTS to go with them..." the teenager looked to the path ahead of them where the two strange men had fled. They were no longer in sight, and chasing after them seemed like it wouldn't be a good idea as they wouldn't catch up and find them so easily. Not to mention they may be slightly scared of them now since they had utterly kicked their pokemon's behind. Paige had been in a few battles with her own pokemon, and that was usually the result of battles from her experience.

"I don't blame it personally. Those two were jerks, but that doesn't fix the problem of it already being captured. It technically still belongs to that guy, so somehow we'll have to find him and convince him to release Purrloin," replied Reese. Ryuu wrinkled his nose as if sniffing the air before deciding to head back to where Reese was stood. He didn't know this pokemon and it wasn't exactly being friendly.

Paige agreed with Reese, for once, and carefully made her way towards the purrloin. The purrloin backed away, not wanting to be picked up or touched, but made it clear that it would follow by following Paige as she retreated from the pokemon.
The pokemon confused the litleo and Paige, but they went with it anyways. The group continued on their way for another few agonizing, at least to the purloin, hours. The purloin was not used to traveling this much and had grown too tired to walk within the first hour, although it could have also been just it changing its mind about being carried and using a little deception to have its way.
The city was rather small, but still an active place none the less.
"So where is the place we have to take the pokemon to?" Paige asked, "We'll deal with the purrloin after we do the delivery correct?"
Although Paige sort of didn't want to let the litleo go, she had found it rather cute during their travels..
