World of magic

In this world everyone is born with the ability to manipulate a natural force. These forces are :life, death, destiny, aura, will, and elements. To control the force of life, is to control the environment and those that inhabit it. This is a pure element, but as anything that is pure, there is always something that will try to corrupt it.

To control the force of death, is to control a force that forces people to live. It will withstand any force, but as comes control, comes corruption along with it, eventually leading to self destruction.

To control the force of destiny, is to control knowledge that many wish to have, but can never truly receive. With destiny comes hope and its cruel counterpart,despair. To receive this makes a life not worth living.

To control the force of aura, is to control that of which preserves life. With the control of aura comes the control of what makes life survive, but also what can destroy a life as well.

To control the force of will, is to control that of which drives life against conflict. To control the force of humanity, is to control the force of change. This leads to the destruction of others.

To control the elements, is to control what creates, changes, and destroys. These lead to the control of change. But with change comes consequences, so be wise with how you use elements.

The people who control these are referred to as the wardens. The wardens used to work together to create balance and prosperity. It was the greatest age of humanity. Until the wardens got corrupted. Balance was destroyed, and humanity was on the brink of destruction.

The guardians of the forces of nature found humanity to be abusing their gifts. So they took humanity's control of the elements. People lived as they do today, with no wardens in existence.

Until...

The guardians have returned the control of the elements to the humans. Humans were selfish and greedy yet again. Humanity went to war between the new wardens. And without balance chaos has ensued. Now the world is being destroyed by the war between the wardens. You have been trained to join in this fight. Your force is for you to decide. Take arms and fight for the control of the elements!
(No bio/approval needed. On first post just put name, age, the force and specialty in that force.) also all users of the same force can sense changes in that force. (You can sense other people of the same force, when they use that force basically.)

With a smirk Haley took out her note book and started writing in it. "Kid bungie jumping off of a four story roof. Large dog snapping at him." she said to herself taking note. She was starting to get an idea for a fan fiction. "Now I remember where this notebook came from. I bought it just yesterday afternoon." she said to her dog Toby. The dogs ears perked up and he started barking at something. "I really hope it isn't one of those black things." Haley muttered with an Irish accent.

Isaac blinked, not sure what to make of the guy's story. There were signs of ice in the room, and that was probably why the room seemed chillier then usual. As he deduced this, the boy pushed past him and he fired his gun, missing and putting a bullet into the wall as the guy ran by. Before he could even turn to the other one he had seemingly disappeared, leaving a trail of electrical damage. Before he knew it he was alone in the basically destroyed room.
"Are you serious. Really, are you FREAKING SERIOUS?" He exclaimed, looking around the room before letting out a determined sigh. "Looks like I have a new case to look into." He commented to himself as he walked out of the room. Heading through the lobby he noticed the traces of what looked like dew in the room, covering the lobby. He ignored thistle and headed straight outside, where he caught a glimpse of the black van and the other guy clinging onto it. Well there's my lead. Driving away at a speed I sure as hell can't follor soon enough. He thought to himself as he hopped into his car parked on the side of the street, starting it up. It wasn't a very large car, just a smaller sized old one with two seats in front, a back and trunk, nothing else. He decided to head back home first to do some research and grab some supplies before heading back out, and began his drive there, heading down the street.

well he is one lucky son of a bitch...wait... hes a survival warden! rashid deciding he hasn't risked anyone's life, decided to help him down. Rashid used his magic as a specially trained warden, to carry him down in a concentrated electromagnetic vortex, using the metallic debris from the lamp post he accidentally blew up. and he made it a little too large than he intended."do this again and i wont let you off so easily, but as i heard you have a job. follow through with it and we wont have a problem." with that rashid walked back into his house, torque following. he really needed to release some electricity, it was sparking off of him. So he put on his elemental warden cloak. these cloaks are gray, and enchanted to provide a slight protection against magic, so as a single attack wont kill. on the back of his cloak was a pentagram, representing the five elements, but one started shining when he put it on:the lightning symbol. with that, he also grabbed a shotgun sawed off to an illegal length, and loaded it with incendiary ammo, and grabbed a few extra shells.if im going to look for a fight, might as well be prepared. with that he left his house with torque. he set the wards back up. if anyone attempted, they would be instantaneously paralyzed from electrocution.

rashid then started to walk to the shadier part of town, where most of the aura, death, and will wardens were. this was a natural area for them, and he was looking for a fight. he couldnt see any wardens with the cloaks out in the open.(the wardens who are taking part in the war between forces wear a cloak with the symbol of their force on it. if someone is not wearing it, then it becomes illegal to attack that person. those who wear the cloaks are able to be fought and killed legally.)rashid then heard some noises from farther into town. he got his shotgun primed and ready in case something were to jump out at him. emphasis on SOMETHING, due to death users being able to summon creatures.he turned a corner, and what he saw made him cringe.

There were bodies of wardens everywhere, dead and alive. there was some sort of MAJOR battle going on in the town. probably a territorial fight. from what he saw there were very few elemental wardens still standing. there must have been hundreds of wardens fighting, not counting the number of demons, ghosts, and zombies. there were dark fogs, blizzards, flashes of blue energy,death and decay. it was an all out battle. he searched through the fight for a familiar face. he found one. it was jason, a warden he was trained with. he was holding them off with large columns of fire. he sure as hell could do damage, but it takes a lot of energy to do that kind of magic.

i have to help him! with that rashid rushed to the outskirts of the fight. he saw demons flying overhead dropping fire on enemies. those would be his first targets. for the first one he dropped a lightning strike on the demon, killing it quick, the others he started throwing chain lightning. one rushed at him. he turned, and waited for it to come. as it got close he unloaded a shell from his sawed-off shotgun into its head, killing it quick.

with some of the demons done with, he started to help some of the other wardens out of harms way. he knew they were outmatched. he had one idea, although it was risky. he jumped out of the fray. he summoned up all of his will and energy, then he dropped a massive bolt of lightning, that would be visible to nearly everyone in the whole city. if they saw it, they would investigate.

"Whatever...". He muttered, waving him off as he walked off down an alley.
Luke checked his watch.
"Hmm. Still got some time.". He put his hands in his jean-pockets and started to whistle a tune. He kicked a small pebble as he went along his way, occasionally glancing up at the tall buildings surrounding him.
Luke saw a large bolt of lightning appear out of the corner of his eye (heard it too), but he paid no attenion to it. It was just more meaningless fighting. He kicked the rock again, sending it flying further down the alley.

Miles looked back. He could see that guy that had the gun following close behind...something was going to happen if Miles stood around and did nothing. He adjusted his glasses and attempted to use his powers. He tried to make the driver of this car as unlucky as possible, hoping he wouldn't tire from the use.

On his way home, Isaac continued to drive, wondering how far the black van was going to go away as he pulled up to the entrance to his apartment building, parking his car for a moment. As he prepared to go inside, he noticed a bright flash appear across the sky, lighting up the area for a brief moment. As he tried to figure out what it was, he remembered the situation that had come up earlier.
Rashid took one look at the officer, sighed then turned into an electric wisp. He whisked out of the building, having accidentally destroyed a few computers due to his electricity.
"Either it's him and I find him, or it's someone else and I get dragged into something else. Might as well go." He commented to himself, hopping back into his car and driving over to the location the bolt had come from. He glanced at the back seat to find his two other guns sitting there with a small bit of ammo, a shotgun and a sniper rifle. Of course, he couldn't bring them both with him so he'd just have to take his pick as usual. Well, looks like we're almost here. Better get ready. He thought to himself as he stopped his car just a few buildings off from where he had seen the bolt coming from. From there he could already see some of the carnage going on, and also noticed a convenient fire escape on the side of a close by building. Getting out of his car and pulling his sniper rifle with him, he threw it over his back and began to climb up the escape, heading to the roof and noticing Rashid and a few other wardens still in the middle of things. Looking overhead, he noticed a few more of the demons flying by and continuing their attack. Kneeling down by the edge of the roof, Isaac pulled out his rifle and took careful aim, aiming down the scope at one of them. Taking a deep breath, he pulled the trigger once it was lined up, sending a bullet directly through one of the vital areas of it, dropping it onto the ground.

Haley saw a clash of lightening in the corner of her eye. "Toby, come." she said in a low voice. Toby heard the sound of his owner's voice and knew he had to listen,"Yes, Master." he replied as his body began to glow. While this was happening Haley took out her Wardens Cloak. Toby's body looked different when she turned around she saw a large creature that resembled a wingless dragon. It had a snout similar to a dogs and clawed feet. It looked as big as a horse. It's bones showed through the skin and it looked like it had mange. The eyes were red and looked like a snakes slit eyes. "Master?" the creature asked walking to her side.

"The shadow one from last night wasn't one of mine. Proceed with caution, Toby." Haley said, heading towards the direction of the lightening. Bowing it's head the creature followed it's master. On the cloak, the one with a Pentagram was glowing. With a wide grin Haley was starting to get excited. "This should be fun." she said with a creepy smile.

Above, in the clouds, a silver haired girl flew above. "Oi. Bored." she yawned, flapping her shimmering silver wings a bit slower. She adjusted her glasses with her long, brown fingernails, and yawned again. "I'm allergic to boredom..." the girl said again. She slowly flew down to the ground, landing softly on her shoeless feet. She then adjusted her red and black hat and fluffed up her black-striped silver jacket. Flapping her wings once, a silver feather fell off, slowly floating to the ground. The winged girl sent a small breeze to pick up the feather and it carried it back to her. She grabbed the feather and twirled it, yawning again. "Can somethin' interestin' PLEASE happen?" she retorted.

A bell jingled as Luke opened the door to a small store in the middle of town.
"Your late." A grizzled voice greeted him.
"You should be used to it by now."
"Yeah and maybe i should fire you."
"If you wanted to fire me you would have done it awhile ago."
The man behind a wooden counter scoffs and opens a drawer located behind him.
"I got a package for you to deliver." he set down a cardboard box the size of a medium sized book onto the table.
In the meantime Luke put on a black jacket that was hanging off a coat rack. It had an emblem on it. A brown shield with the words GDS (Global Delivery Service) inscribed in yellow writing on the inside. He dawned on a brown cap, the same insignia put on it.
Luke picked up the package and measured its weight in his hand.
"What's in it."
"They don't tell and-"
"And you don't ask. Got it." Luke finished.
"Where do I go?" The man gave him a post it. Luke looked at it and nodded.
"Gotcha."
"You need to get it there in thirty minutes."
"What?!"
"Hey, you woulda gotten more time if you were here earlier."
Luke groans and rushes out the door. Thirty minutes, feh, this wouldn't be too hard.

Out of the corner of her brown eye, Silverwing saw a boy in a black jacket holding a package running. "Finally! Somethin' interestin'!" she said excitedly, her nails changing from brown to a bright shade of pink. She quickly flew over to Luke. "Ayo, bro! Whatcha got there?" Silverwing said rather loudly, eyeing the package, wondering what was in the box.

Luke looked up at the incoming person.
'What the-" Was she flying? He then returned his attention to his task, holding the package under his arm as he walked down the street. He couldn't get distracted. Not when he was on the job, but.. He sighs.
"Its' a package i have to deliver." He said, pointing to GDS logo on his hat, then continued along his way.

"A package?" Silverwing followed Luke on the road. "What's in it? Do you even know? I don't know, bro! Can I look?" she asked, annoyingly curious. 'Course, he's gonna say no. But I don't give a damn 'bout his opinion! I'll just grab it myself! Ghehehehehehhhh... the girl thought as her nails darkened to black.

Rashid wasnt noticing anyone coming.dammit. he then thought it was time to use some AoE attacks. He needed to take down groups. He made a lightning field around him, then charged up on electricity. He then released 3 shockwaves knocking the majority of them down. He used a chain lightning. He then sensed a particularly strong demonic presence.oh crap...

Luke stumbled and fell as he felt the shockwave course through the ground. The box slipped from under his arm onto the ground.
"Man...". He grumbled, picking it back up and inspecting the damage.
"Now the gonna have a dent in it when I drop it off."
He turned to the girl.
"And no, you may not 'have a look'.". He cleared his throat.
"GDS policy states that no transfering of goods to an unknown party may be permitted at any time. All goods handled by GDS employees are liable for the package they are carrying and can be fined or sued by the client.". He coughed.
"At least, that's what they tell us anyway."

"Ghehehehhh... Fine... Have it your way, little boy." Silverwing chuckled, then flew off. Just a few feet awat in the air, she stopped and created a small but powerful whirlwind. She sent that whirlwind over to Luke, where it was powerful enough to pick up the package and carry it back over to Silverwing. "Oh gee, thanks sucka! Gheheheheheh!" the silver winged girl laughed as she tried to peel off the tape on the package. "Damn tape! Open!"
